The Demon’s Angelic Love - Chapter 183
Indeed. Michy only needed someone who would continue believing in him in any situation. He needed someone to trust him because he couldn’t even trust himself.
Indeed. He had made a resolute decision to stop being an idol and become a painter instead, but he wasn’t quite sure about that. Some people would get hurt because of his decision, and he didn’t feel good about that.
Azren had told him that he was so talented, that he would be a great artist with the talent that he had since he was a kid. But, Michy was not confident with it. He never learned how to draw and paint professionally, and he only learned how to make drawings and paintings by himself.
That was why he wasn’t sure if he would be able to earn money if he quit the entertainment industry and became a painter instead. Would it be easy for him to make a way as an artist?
Perhaps that was why Willem was against his idea yesterday. Willem was more experienced than Michy, and he knew how hard it was to get money in this era. Perhaps Willem was worried about his future.
Michy could understand the good intentions, but he was still longing for someone who would believe in him no matter what. That way, maybe he could start believing in himself with that someone on his side.
And that person happened to be Azren, someone who he treated badly since the first time they met each other.
“Maybe we can stop talking about that now, Michy,” Azren spoke again as he got no response from the idol. “Do you want to eat anything? The nurse said that the hospital food would arrive soon, but maybe you want to eat something else? The doctors said that it’s okay for you to eat any food as long as it’s not poisonous.”
Azren was an understanding man, and instead of giving more pressure to his boyfriend, he tried to joke around when the boy looked so gloomy.
“What will you buy for me this time? Will you buy me burgers once again?” Michy was teasing him, making him recall the memory when the idol almost drowned in the sea and he was the one who saved the idol.
Michy was unconscious for a moment, but after regaining his consciousness, the people on set immediately sent him to the hospital.
Back then, Michy asked him to buy something expensive, but Azren ended up buying burgers instead.
Azren chuckled while pulling a chair so he could sit beside the hospital bed. Still gripping Michy’s hand tightly, he wasn’t bored as he continued staring at the young boy.
“We are in the city now, and I think I can buy you any food you want,” Azren replied with confidence in his tone.
Back then, they were far from the city, and there were not many restaurants near the hospital. That was why he randomly chose burgers as the idol’s meal.
“Are you sure about that?” Michy once again questioned the taller man. “Do you have enough money to buy me anything I want?”
Bringing up about money made Azren want to slap his forehead. Michy was right. He probably couldn’t buy anything expensive because he didn’t have a lot of money.
Azren displayed a gloomy expression all of a sudden, and Michy smiled before pulling his hand away from the man’s grip and using the hand to ruffle the man’s hair. The hair was not completely blonde anymore, but it was still so smooth in the idol’s palm.
Both of them were getting closer ever since they started dating. Michy indeed was still cold and aloof most of the time, but the idol sometimes would initiate a skinship with his boyfriend. That was still a good thing for Azren, and he smiled as he leaned towards the idol’s touch.
Michy still had his hand on top of his boyfriend’s head, but his face looked blank once again. His mind wandered for a moment, but as he recalled Felice’s words earlier, he decided to share his burden with his boyfriend.
“Do you remember when I told you that I’m afraid of fire and darkness?” Michy suddenly broke the silence, and Azren pulled his head away from the idol’s hand.
A pair of emerald eyes met the blue ones, and Azren tried to read what was hiding behind the beautiful azure eyes.
“Yes,” the taller man replied. “I still remember it, but I don’t know the reason behind your fear.”
Humans could have their trauma. If something happened during their childhood, then the human probably would bring the terrifying feeling until they got older. Azren knew about that, and he assumed Michy had a trauma in the past that caused him to act that way.
The idol only used an electric stove in the kitchen, and he didn’t let anyone turn off the lights in his house even if no one was in the rooms.
That kind of action was quite bizarre, and Azren had the question in his heart ever since he became the idol’s assistant.
“I don’t have any bad experience with fire or darkness when I was little,” Michy’s next words felt like answering Azren’s assumption.
Azren was quite shocked because Michy seemed to be able to read his mind, but perhaps it was him who showed his curiosity on his face obviously.
“You don’t have any bad experience with fire or darkness when you were little, so why did you end up feeling so scared by the fire and darkness, Michy?”
Michy was the first one who brought up the topic, and Azren thought it wouldn’t be a big deal if he pushed the idol a little.
And perhaps Michy indeed wanted to share his burden with him because he then said, “I don’t have any direct experience with fire and darkness, but I keep dreaming about fire and darkness since I was little.. I even dreamed about the fire and darkness again when I was unconscious just now.”
