The Demon’s Angelic Love - Chapter 186
“My Lord, the 100 days punishment for Azren is almost up, but he still can’t raise Michy’s evil meter. Instead of completing his mission, he ended up dating Michy. That’s ridiculous, and he deserves the punishment,” Orgonel was reporting the new update about Azren to Lucifer, but the latter remained silent.
They were in Hell, and the king of Hell was sitting majestically on his throne. Orgonel was the only one who spoke, but it looked like the king didn’t listen to what he just said.
It seemed that the king of Hell was thinking about something as he didn’t respond to his subordinate’s words, but the said subordinate didn’t seem to see the situation as he kept rambling.
“Azren once again made the same mistake, My Lord. He fell in love with a human once again even if you have warned him about that. Even if he’s a demon now, he’s still capable of falling in love. That’s disgusting!”
Orgonel rarely talked a lot, but when he felt like talking, then he would continue talking to his heart content. Perhaps he couldn’t hold back anymore. He had been observing Azren in the human world, but instead of seeing a pleasant thing from the young demon, he only saw how the demon made out with the human.
Not only that, but he also saw how the young demon start dating the human, and the demon even neglected his mission. Instead of doing his mission, Azren was busy taking care of the human.
If Azren cared about the human merely because of his lust, then Orgonel wouldn’t be this angry. But, he knew so well that Azren had fallen for the human, and that was unacceptable for a demon.
That was why he immediately went back to Hell to report this matter. Even if Lucifer surely had known about that, he still felt the need to make a report because that was his responsibility.
“Are you done?” Lucifer finally let his voice echo in the grand hall of Hell.
At that time, Orgonel finally realized that he had disturbed the king of Hell. Orgonel was not a young demon in Hell, and he had been serving the king since many years ago. Just by listening to the king’s tone, he knew that the king was not in a good mood now.
“I originally wanted to tell you about my plan, Orgonel. But seeing how you’re so energetic with your story, maybe I shouldn’t tell you anything so I won’t disturb your fun.”
This time, Orgonel widened his red eyes as he displayed a panicked expression on his face. Lucifer glanced at him, but it felt like the glance contained thousand of needles that pricked the long-haired demon’s souls.
It was only a glance, but he felt like his breath had been taken away just because of one short glance.
“My apologies, My Lord. I didn’t mean to offend you. It’s my mistake for being thoughtless,” Orgonel apologized to the king while hanging his head low.
Lucifer had been ignoring him ever since he arrived at Hell, but he failed to catch the signal and continued rambling instead. The king was indeed not in the mood, but no one could guess what was in the king’s mind.
The king of Hell was someone who had a lot of secrets. He was the king, and no one would dare to force him to spill the secret. That was why Orgonel felt so guilty for his thoughtless act earlier. Lucifer was about to share one of his secrets, but he made the king’s mood even worse.
“You keep talking about Azren when you know nothing about my plan. I despise that kind of attitude, and I’m disappointed in you,” the king continued his lecture as he fully glared at his subordinate now.
Orgonel could only bow his head and stared at the black floor instead.
“You’re useless, but I will still tell you about my real plan because the time is getting nearer. Now is the time for you to know my real plan.”
The long-haired demon finally looked up when he could hear a hint of green light from the king. Perhaps he was lucky because he was the king’s trusted subordinate.
“I sent Azren to the human world for a purpose, and the purpose was not only to punish him just because of his idiocy. That’s just nonsense I said to fool that dumb demon.”
Orgonel was not stupid, and when he heard Lucifer’s confession about him having a ‘real’ purpose behind his decision to send Azren to the human world, he wasn’t surprised. He always thought that Lucifer’s reason wouldn’t be that simple.
“You know how I failed to turn Azren’s blonde hair to darker hair no matter how hard I tried to do that using my powers, don’t you? My real reason is related to that. I want to change the color of Azren’s hair.”
Orgonel still didn’t utter any words upon hearing Lucifer’s explanation. He did notice the blonde strands on Azren’s head gradually turned black, and he once questioned the king about that too. But, Lucifer acted mysteriously and didn’t give him an answer.
Now when the king finally revealed his plan, Orgonel was speechless. Just for the sake of changing the hair color, Lucifer went to the extent to use his mighty powers on Azren so that the young demon could disguise himself as a human perfectly.
Azren could hide his demonic aura because of the king’s power, and Orgonel knew that it was the first time for the king to do something like that.
“Do you think I did all of that just because I want to see Azren with dark hair?” Lucifer suddenly sneered, seeming to be able to read Orgonel’s mind. “I won’t do something so insignificant like that. I did all of that because Azren will only be a perfect demon after his blonde hair turns black.. He will be the second strongest demon in Hell after he completes his real mission in the human world.”
