The Doctor Who Loves Me - Chapter 554
Cali was finally discharged from the hospital and returned home with Rui and Candice.
Yera had already prepared a feast for their wonderful dinner, outside in the veranda with the fire burning in the fire pit to keep them warm in the cold weather.
“Oh, I can smell the grill!” Candice beamed and immediately walked over to the veranda. Rui and Cali followed.
“I bet you are all hungry so let’s all just dig in already. This is to celebrate this occasion, Cali is safe and sound and back in Rui’s arms.” Xander commented with a teasing grin.
Cali blushed while Rui grabbed a beer and beamed, “Cheers!”
The group then shared a hearty meal while bantering with each other.
Cali was only laughing and smiling while she listened to them. She wanted to tell Rui about her regaining of memories by surprising him and was still thinking about how to properly execute her plan.
“Oh! what a nice ambiance. Having dinner outside, under the beautiful night sky…” Candice commented as she caressed her tummy. She was so full.
“Yera is a great cook. I honestly envy women who cook so well. I’m too bad at cooking so I don’t cook at all.” Candice commented.
“You don’t cook? But you’re a culinary professor?” Cali asked in disbelief.
Candice laughed and said, “I will be leaving soon. I hate teaching as well, so it’s time for me to drop this profession and look for a better one.”
“She’s a secret agent so don’t ask any more questions. For all we know she could be bugged and we will all be put in danger for getting close to her…” Xander mumbled in a jest and Candice only lifted her eyebrows at him.
“Yeah, you’re right. It’s more dangerous to get on my bad side though…” Candice countered with squinted eyes, making Rui and Yera laugh.
“I will go first…” Cali said with a smile after chatting a little more.
“I’ll walk you to your room,” Rui said and Cali nodded.
Rui walked her inside her bedroom.
“I will sleep with you. Let me just clean up and I’ll come over to your room later,” Cali informed before she closed the door.
Rui smiled as he walked to his room instead of joining everyone again. He was supposed to go back and join Xander for a few more drinks. But since Cali would soon come to his room, he decided to clean up as well and changed into his sleepwear.
He was whistling as he went to bed. He opened the television to watch some news while waiting for Cali. He wanted to propose to Cali as early as possible and have a wedding ceremony with her but this time he wanted to give her a grand wedding ceremony because Cali only deserved the best and their wedding before her surgery was arranged in a haste with a handful of people invited.
He smiled as he recalled the time of his rushed wedding with Cali. She looked so stunning even in a simple white dress. How more gorgeous would she look wearing a dazzling wedding gown? He could not wait to see her wearing a real wedding gown, walking down the aisle again, to marry him once more.
“Will it be too early if I ask her to marry me?” he whispered with a sigh. He had a lot of plans for them both but he knew he must wait. He wanted Cali to enjoy her life to the fullest, while he would support her from behind.
Finishing her culinary arts school was one of her biggest dreams so maybe they could just be engaged during that time if she did not want to marry him yet. What was important for him was for Cali to be informed of his intention to marry her.
He chuckled because technically they were already married so it would basically be just a formal ceremony for the two of them.
His beautiful thoughts were interrupted when Cali entered the room.
She had that sweet smile of hers on her face as she walked towards the bed. Rui was too mesmerized to say anything, his eyes were fixed on her, denying to peel away from her gorgeous face.
She was like a beautiful Goddess ascending from heaven in his eyes and his heart started beating erratically just by seeing her smile. Cali slowly made her way to him but paused a step away from the bed. She stared deeply into his eyes with her dazzling smile, lifted her slender hands, and untied her nightgown robe.
She slowly removed it and threw it on the floor, leaving only a thin layer of silk on her body that enclosed her perfect shape and enhanced her s.e.xy curves.
Rui unconsciously gulped as he anticipated what would Cali do next.
Cali removed the straps of her nightgown, letting it slip and fall down the floor.
“Cali… What are you doing?” Rui whispered. He was almost out of breath, seeing Cali only with her lingerie.
Cali did not answer and removed the remaining things on her body to get n.a.k.e.d in front of her husband. She had recalled him as her husband, though she could not recall all her memories with him yet except for the fact that she was well aware that the two of them were not only legally married but also were in love with each other.
She remembered that day when she gave herself to him and they got married the next day afterward. She remembered how he had promised to be with her in every condition and stay by her side always.
She forgot him but he kept his promise…
Rui held onto her… Her husband… Her man…
She gave him another smile and walked forward to crawl on his bed.
She had that naughty smile as she positioned herself on top of Rui.
“Cali?” Rui asked. Cali leaned forward to give Rui a gentle kiss while she whispered, “I want to make love with the man I love…”
“But Cali… Are you sure?” Rui managed to utter the words hoarsely while he was already on the verge of losing his control at any moment.
Cali winked at him before answering with a passionate and hungry kiss that surprised him because Cali was actually timid about being intimate with him but all of a sudden she was bold and aggressive like how she used to be before.
Rui was so lost already in Cali’s lips that the questions inside his head vanished and were replaced with the burning desire he was keeping for too long to himself.
He moved and rolled over on top of Cali instead.
“Sweetheart… There’s no turning back…” Rui whispered in her ear before nibbling her earlobe.
Cali chuckled and said, “Absolutely…”
