The Dragoon In Skyrim - Volume 1 Chapter 143 Transmogrify Potion
Vincent woke up on his couch as he looked around because he knew that he fell asleep on a chair. He stood up and saw the stars in the sky through the window.
He touches every window as he gives a little prayer to all of his gods before touching Hydaelyn and says, “I will have to travel again. I hope they will take good care of you all until I return. May you guide me on this difficult path Hydaelyn.”
Then he walked towards the table finding a potion and a notice there. He read it and says, “So a transmogrify potion. They want to use them because by using illusion we could be detected by Sorcerers.”
He looked at the potion and removes the lit before gulping it down in one go before saying, “It tastes like shit.”
Suddenly his body begins to change as his black skin became rosy pale resembling a Nord as his hair turned blond and his horns and tail entered his body.
Vincent now looked like a normal Nord as he looked at a mirror. He touched his face and see that the only thing that stayed the same were his blue eyes and the length of his hair.
“I hope they recognize me when they wake up,” says Vincent as he puts the vial on the table as he saw the longsword he made in the corner.
“It seems Ciri didn’t come to get her new sword,” says Vincent as he left the house.
Once outside he takes his spear out and begins to adapt to the body of a Nord so he won’t be killed when he would be in Ciri’s world.
It was still dark outside when he began and once it was morning he was sweating as he was fighting while changing his weapons in mid-swing.
Soon his children found Vincent training and they were confused about what a Nord was doing in the city while seeing that he had the same gift as their father.
Soon Vincent opened his eyes again and every one of them could feel the aura his eyes radiated since they have seen those eyes since their birth.
“Father, what happened?” asks Naosane as Vincent smiles.
“It was your mothers’ idea to use a transmogrify potion instead of an illusion. So I needed to adapt to my new body before leaving,” says Vincent as his children were confused.
“You are leaving?” asks Orug as Vincent nods.
“I will be leaving in two days with Ellana, Kirvena, Karliah, and Serana. We will accompany Ciri into her world. It will be a new adventure before I return and prepare for the next World-Threatening Event in our path,” says Vincent as his armor still fit him while his helmet had holes because of his horns making them be out of place in his Nord form and another hole was over his arse were normally his tail would be.
“Are we going to go to war against them?” asks Orug as Vincent shakes his head.
“We aren’t if they don’t try to start a war against us,” says Vincent as he didn’t want to go to war to conquer another world not belonging to them.
“Can you send Ciri later in the house? I still have to gift her something as I gave to you when you finished your training,” says Vincent as they nod while Vincent enters his house when he encounters a Redguard, a Nord, and Ellana without pointy ears as Vincent looked at her confused.
“How comes Ellana hasn’t changed much like the rest of us?” asks Vincent as he knew that the Redguard must be Karliah while the Nord was Kirvena making Vincent smile.
“I never thought you would take the form of a Nord after they almost killed all Falmers in Skyrim back when they arrived from Atmora,” says Vincent as Kirvena gave him a look that said everything.
“I needed a human form and a Nord is the nearest to me. We all know why you turned into a Nord since you lived under them for the longest,” says Kirvena as Vincent hugged and kissed her.
“Don’t be angry. I know that you would take the best aspect for yourself,” says Vincent as Kirvena freed herself after kissing him back.
“Two days and we will leave this world. It somehow exciting to see a new world even if it isn’t as developed as ours,” says Kirvena as she brought a map of the Northern Territory out that Mina made with Avallac’h’s help.
“This is only a small part of Ciri’s world. We found out from Avallac’h that Velen is around here. They also call it No Man’s Land. We believe that the Crones live around there. We don’t have a map of Velen and might have to buy it from someone there,” says Kirvena as Vincent nods.
“Alright, but let’s talk about the other regions. We won’t be just going to Ciri’s World to kill the Crones but to have fun as well,” says Vincent as the women giggled from hearing him.
“Still the man we know,” says Mina as they knew that Vincent hated to only sit around while doing nothing.
“We have Temaria, Redania, Kaedwen, Aedirn, and Nilfgaard. Those are the five biggest kingdoms with Nilfgaard turning into an Empire like Nirn. Then we have Skellige over here and some of the smaller kingdoms like Sodden and Brugge but the map is quite outdated,” says Karliah explaining everything to Vincent.
“How comes it’s quite outdated?” asks Vincent as Kirvena smiles.
“Because of Nilfgaard. They are on the march of conquering the Northern Kingdoms. The last time Avallac’h was there Nilfgaard was fighting Sodden and Brugge and was winning. They couldn’t continue to following the war while escaping the Wild Hunt but they knew that the King of Temaria was killed by a Witcher and Temaria fell into a civil war. How long do you think Nilfgaard will need to conquer them,” says Kirvena as Vincent didn’t need to think for long.
“If it was me it would take a week maybe less depending on the conditions. Nilfgaard would take at least some months to a year since Temaria would still try to defend themselves from the Behemoth,” says Vincent cold as he suddenly shifted personality before turning back while saying warmly, “But it isn’t our war. We will try to hold ourselves out of it.”
“Well, we heard from Avallac’h that around here a kingdom stood that was ruled by a Dragon, maybe you want to look into it since Dragons are ‘extinct’ in Ciri’s world,” says Mako as she felt sorry for the Dragon ruler.
“Maybe, but first we need to find out how much the world state changed from this map to the actual one. Maybe the Kingdom isn’t any longer or the ruler is even dead,” says Vincent as he didn’t know how durable the Dragons were over there.
“If there really is only one Dragon left how will he or she react when another Dragon appears. It will either be hostile or try to mate,” says Mako knowing the desire since she is always hostile towards all the female Dragons knowing they want to snatch her husband.
“I will see what can be done but until then we will just explore the Northern Kingdoms and their culture while researching a bit on those Witchers,” says Vincent as he was curious about their mutations.
If they could knack the mutagens code they could try to temper with it making it stronger or weaker depending on the person and find a way to solve their sterility.
“So you want to breed super soldiers?” asks Mina seriously.
“No, only some specific people that will be working in the Network, Crownguard, and the Dragoons. That way we would have some people that could become another pillar for the Empire and we will need as many as possible,” says Vincent as he remembered the Reapers again.
“The enemy that is coming is far more powerful than anything we have dealt with before. They only needed three days to conquer Nirn and we were slaughtered that’s why I killed Lorkhan since with him gone we might have a bigger chance to win,” says Vincent cold again.
“And I will do anything to stop them from killing us all,” says Vincent as he hit the table breaking it.
“Can’t you tell us more of the threat that is coming,” says Mina as she was worried that Vincent was carrying too much on his shoulders.
“*sighs* They are described as Netches that are bigger than the White-Gold-Tower. They are thousands of them and they will attack not to conquer but to slaughter every organic being. I don’t know the reason behind it but it will happen,” says Vincent in a cold voice that wasn’t confident in winning this time.
“Don’t worry too much. We will win like always,” says Mina as she smiled at Vincent who smiled back.
“Anyway, let us focus on our actual enemy who we should be able to defeat easily,” says Vincent as he was sure of it.
“If we want to know more about Witchers then we should go to Ciri’s home,” says Ellana as she pointed at Kaedwen while saying, “Kaer Morhen, the home of the Wolf School under the Witchers.”
“Good,” says Vincent keeping it in mind when they hear the door open.
They all turned around and found Ciri by the door who suddenly was nervous because everyone was watching her when Vincent sighs.
“Ciri, come to the table so I can give you your graduation gift,” says Vincent as Ciri came nearer to them when Mina took her in her arms.
Ciri was confused to see Vincent, Karliah, and Kirvena in their new form when Mina explained to her why they were in this form while Ellana and Serana didn’t look any different except for their ears or eyes.
Vincent grabbed the longsword and says, “For graduating from my training I present you this weapon without a name.”
Vincent activated it and the color of the energy edge turned grey as he continues, “I made it only for you like I made all the other for my children only for them until they find a better weapon.”
“I will keep it in honor to remember my training,” says Ciri nervous as she looked at the sword and was thinking what to name it.
“Just give it a name that you like or people could praise in the future like in ‘Ciri and her trusted sword…’,” says Mina as Ciri interrupts her.
“The Misty Guardian,” says Ciri as the grey edge resembled mist forming around the sword.
“Well it’s your sword so why not name it like that,” says Vincent as he thought of a better name for it but he kept it for himself.
“Are you ready to return to your world?” asks Vincent as Ciri nods with confidence.
“Good then we are thinking that the Wild Hunt will try to get you one last time even with Mehrunes Dagon running rampage in their world,” says Vincent informing her that they will be fighting the Wild Hunt most likely in her World.
“I’m ready this time,” says Ciri as Vincent smiles at her.
“I hope so too,” says Vincent as turned around while the women were celebrating Ciri’s graduation.
