“NO!!!”

“Dad! No!!”​​

I saw everything with my own eyes. I finally had the answer I was looking for years. But I never wanted the answer to be this. Watching my father walking on the same path I was walking on broke my heart. I didn’t know where he was or if he was even alive or not.

“Why? Why? Always it’s me who has to suffer!”

“I never did anything so wrong to deserve this! So why?”

“You took everything from me.” I was looking at the sky and was yelling at it like someone there who wrote my fate.

“First, you took my mother away. Even before I could say her name,”

“You took my only brother, who cared for me even though we had no relations,”

“You even took my father from me and when I was the most happiest in my life,”

“Why?? Just answer me why???”

I was screaming at the sky pointlessly, even after knowing nobody was there to answer me back. My heart felt like it was torn into thousand pieces, the tears in my eyes were flowing with deep hatred. I screamed so much that blood came out of my mouth, my throat was hurting like hell, yet I kept screaming soundlessly.

And suddenly a gust of light devoured me and when the light disappeared, I opened my eyes.

“Huff” “Huff” I was panting heavily, and I was drenched in sweat. I looked around myself I was tucked in bed, which has bloodstains all over it. I had no idea about anything that was happening around me. I didn’t even know if I was in reality or If I was in a dream.

I closed my eyes to relax and to get a hold of myself, but as I tried to close my eyes, I had flashes of some kind of memory. I saw I was on a battlefield, but before I could figure out something, the memory switched to somewhere else. Now I saw a girl with a bio-modified body.

It was so stressful that I opened my eyes. In front of me, I saw Lee. He was standing at the door with his eyes enlarged as he saw a ghost.

“Kai! You’re okay?” His voice broke, and in a moment, his eyes were flooded with tears.

He ran and hugged me, leaving all the items in his hands on the ground. His hug was tight enough to suffocate me, but I didn’t push him away. He had a warm scent. I sensed his heart was pounding so hard. He was scared and happy at the same moment.

“Doc! Come here.”

“Doctor, get your ass right here before I slash it.”

He suddenly turned aggressive and yelled loud to call the doctor inside the room. The doctor rushed inside the room with a look of fear on his face.

“Yes, my lord. Did something happen?”

“Bloody hell!”

He screamed as he saw me awake. He ran to check on me quickly. He looked at my body with a shocked look on his face.

“My lord, can you step out for a while I’ll call you inside once everything is done.”

“Hmm, but be quick, I don’t like to wait.” Lee nagged at the doctor and left the room.

“What happened doctor is something wrong?”

“No, your grace. I’m shocked to see you awake. It’s like a miracle.”

“Did something really bad happen to me?” I asked the doctor, because he was acting weird since he saw me.

“Yes, you’re really lucky, to be honest. When master Lee brought you here, your condition was really bad. Your brain was dried as someone cooked it inside a cooker. You used almost all of your mana, but it was not a problem because we always have enough mana to survive, but your brain was inflicted with demonic, incomplete magic that dried it up. And your abdomen was split open when you came here maybe it was because of the friction caused by the rope you were tied with.”

“When I told lord Lee about it that you may never wake up again. He went crazy. He was raged.”

“I felt his ominous dark aura. It was so insane, I never saw that much of denser or darker aura in the whole country. Not even higher devils like Bael’s aura are compare to his.”

“He asked me to bring you back at any cost, or he will slice my arms in a million pieces and will make me finish the operations with those. I’m so glad you came back.”

“Well, can you show me your body so I can examine you for the last time”

He checked my body from all the angles he told me precautions until a royal healer comes to heal me as he told me about all these Lee came back to the room.

“Is it done ?? ”

“Yes, my lord he’s okay now I shall take my leave now,” The doctor was frightened of him, which revealed his quick actions. He escaped from hell seems like.

“Hey, wait, there’s something left. You can’t leave without it” Lee stopped him by his shoulder and looked at him with a deadly stare.

The doctor was scared as hell. He had the look on his face as he knew he’ll die here.
