The Dream Saga - Chapter 50

I ran and hugged her tight “Rose no, don’t cry big brother is here to protect you.”

“Thank you so much” Her teardrops touched the ground, and she hugged me back tightly.

In the meantime, someone knocked on the door, but the door was unlocked, and as the person on the door knocked, it got wide open.

“Huh! What?” as the door opened my eyes got onto it and a person stood there. And in that exact moment, I realized I was in a position where anyone who saw me would misunderstand the whole situation.

I was flushed; I did not know what was going on. My brain went numb and started to imagine weird scenarios…

The first figure that I imagined in front of me was Lee. With a disappointed and betrayed expression…

“Kai, aren’t you ashamed of what you did?”

“Lee, it’s not what it looks like, these all are just rumors please understand!”

“What am I supposed to understand when the deed is already done?? To be honest, I don’t want to even listen to you, you were my best friend. You could have at least told me, nobody, just me. What did you think I will spread rumors about you and Rose?”

“Lee!! No! you got it all wrong!!!” When he said ‘were best friend ‘ it hurt my heart.

My mind was showing me all these weird possibilities, and it did not stop just after one. It kept showing me these again and again.

Next appeared the goddess Ecirel with teary eyes and a hint of anger…

“Why did you do that?” she was filled with an emotion of anger and betrayal.

“Ecirel, you too got it all wrong there’s a big misunderstanding.” I was constantly pleading.

“Why did you kiss me if you already love someone else? Why?”

“No, No, No,” I cried out I was already avoiding a confrontation with her because of this and she even brought it in my imagination.

“You tainted a pure heart of a maiden, you will be punished for your sins!”

“GET OUT!”

“Nooo!!!” My imaginations were on the wild stage now. I even imagined that Ecirel has fallen for me.

Next were my precious friends who stood with me at my worst. That wise werewolf Sabir and enemy of my healing injuries, Skyler the thief. Looking at me as I was a disgusting creature…

“Huh!”

“Skyler, I never thought he’d do anything like this.”

“I thought he was a guy with some principles but no he’s just a cheap man.”

“Sabir, Skyler, you two….”

“Look who we have here, the cheapest guy in the entire world,” Skyler commented to me harshly.

“What are you two talking about?” I questioned with stressed expressions.

“Look, how innocent he is trying to look like,”

“He called Rose as his sister, but got caught forcing himself onto her.”

“Yeah, I wonder how that precious was suffering this all alone. I didn’t know someone I was so close with, did this kind of things.”

“He’s not the guy we used to know. He’s corrupted now. I’m ashamed to call myself his friend,” Sabir commented while making a disgusted look on his face.

“Hey, hey what do you mean…”

“We are ashamed of you.”

“No! No!!!”

I was completely devastated in the imagination of my own by the people I loved the most.

“Master Kai! Master Kai!” Rose rocked my head as I was lost in my terrible imagination.

“Huh! Wha-What was that? What?” I came back to myself and took a second to realize that everything I just saw was an illusion.

Those accusations, bad expressions, harsh words, misunderstanding…

Wait, I have to pretend it to spread like fire in a forest.

My eyes went back to the door. The person was looking at me with a curious gaze. I knew whatever he just saw right now; he misunderstood it.

“No!!!” I yelled at the person at the door.

“Ah, I’m sorry I should’ve knocked before. I should leave you two alone. Don’t mind me, please continue” He seemed sincere to me, he bowed and closed the door with adequate. But because of his behavior, I got distracted and forgot the part that he really misunderstood.

“Sir! No!” I tied my robe and ran after him barefooted. I yelled at him as he shut the door.

The speed at which I arrived at the door was godly. It was enough to break sprint records. I opened the door and banged it on the other side. I saw the man leaving the hallway in haste.

“Hey! Stop right there. By the order of king!” I used my power of position to stop the person on the other end. And his reply was not what I was expecting.

“I’m sorry, for that I’ll visit some other time, Leviathan! Continue what you were doing I won’t tell a soul.”

“No! it’s not what you thought it to be. Please understand.” I cried out.

“I told you, Leviathan, I’m not going to judge you. I will keep your secret, don’t worry!” He said politely, with his head low at sixty degrees towards the ground with a smirk on his face.

“Wait there! For me, I’ll come to you don’t move, alright. I’ll explain everything.” I was trying my best to stop him, so I could explain to him the whole thing so no rumor about me gets spread but he did not listen he was weird.

He ignored me and began to walk back on his way as i was not even there and it was stressing me out

“Don’t move or you’ll be in trouble!!!” he turned back to me in response to my call and suddenly his eyes expanded as he saw a ghost.

“NOOO!!!” he screamed at me as I was about to get shot.

“No, what? I turned my back to see why he was acting so weird, and what I saw was terrifying. The thing that was about to happen to me was a man’s worst nightmare. The situation I was in was so bizarre for me that I couldn’t stop to imagine the consequences.”
