The Dream Saga - Chapter 72

When Sathanus was about to just kill Basilisk, something happened that shook each and every spectator in the stadium.

The ground was shaking badly as an earthquake. Sathanus was bamboozled because something was happening, of which he had no idea, and when he was just trying to figure out what was going on, a giant snake came out of the ground, ripping everything apart.

It was “Slyory” Kai’s second most powerful serpent.

He was quick and because of his agility; he was able to pierce his fangs in one of Sathanus’s leg.

“AAARRGGHH!!!” Sathanus, who was about to slay Basilisk, was dragged far away from him by Slyory. The wound he was given by Slyory was fatal it was enough to bring tears in his eyes.

But it was expected, because imagine being bitten by a serpent with a bus sized head.

He was screaming painfully as he’d die of the pain.

I was conscious again. Thankfully, I gained my consciousness back on time, or basilisk would have been dead by now. I was good to go, but my legs were crushed as powder. The pain was stinging and I could no longer feel my them. I had no other option rather than crawling like a snake. I felt I was the playing serpent king by acting as a snake now.

Sathanus was on the ground with Basilisk on the other side, just about to fall. Slyory was so close to Sathanus and that was a major problem for him and me so, to prevent any kind of mis-happening I called him back to aid me.

“Slyory, enough! You’ve done your job get back here, good boy.” He stared at Sathanus with eyes filled with rage and hatred but, without doing anything foolish, he returned to me.

He picked me off the ground and dropped me on his head; I felt safe finally; he turned and hissed me something in Naga Bani.

“Master, we should hurry to Basilisk, he’s hurt and the attack I did on Sathanus was not so powerful he should be back on his feet any moment.”

I hissed back at him in Naga Bani, “Yes, we shouldn’t waste any more time let’s get going”

The people began to shout and cheer again, because the match was again on a go. While moving on my way to Basilisk, I rolled my eyes to the side to get a look at Sathanus’s situation.

He was recovering quickly he held a knee now, and I knew it would only take just a few minutes more for him to get back on his feet.

“Slyory! We need to be quick that motherfucker is waking up, and that’s not good news for us.” I hissed.

“Yes, my master.”

We arrived at Basilisk’s position. He had lost too much of blood even the soil was muddy because of blood. Slyory dropped me on his back, to get him back inside me so he does not get hurt so much.

“Bitch, why did you even come to protect me? If you can’t even win!” I yelled at him while searching for his serpent mark.

“Shut up, fucker! I didn’t even come to protect I just came to protect the serpent. pride because a dumb cunt has been elected as their serpent supreme and I was about to beat him.” He spoke in a low yet arrogant tone.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say! Found it!” I shouted when I found the serpent’s mark on his scaly body. I aligned my palm with the mark and with a green light he disappeared inside my body.

“Finally, now we can fight easily without any kind of worry, let’s go before the motherfucker wakes up.” I took a whiff of relief, but it was for a short time, Slyory interrupted me.

“My Master, I am sorry to interrupt your moment of joy but we have a problem.”

“The Motherfucker is on his feet and is moving weirdly.”

“Huh, what? Wait, you shouldn’t call him that. But cool you passed the vibe check, but what is he doing hmm.” I rotated my head and saw Sathanus on his feet back. He was doing something; I narrowed my sight to get a clear look at what he’s doing. And when I noticed his movements, I knew what it was.

“Slyory, we need to dodge or we both are dead roasted chicken, dodge quick or move something the motherfucker is creating a nuclear power shot.” I yelled, with a bit of fear in my tone.

I looked behind me, and what I saw was horrifying. All the seats were empty, all the public were shifted to other side to prevent any kind of damage.

“YAAAHHH!!!” Sathanus screamed violently and a big red ball of energy which was emitting red aura formed over his head. It was big enough that its light covered the entire area. And it was specially made to destroy me who couldn’t even jump or run away.

“Slyory! We need to hurry!!! Or we are fucked! He’s planning to wipe us from the face of Witldom!”

“Yes, master….”

“YAAAAHHHHH!!!!” Sathanus released the big ball of nuclear power shot at me. It was coming at us like a burning asteroid and it was scary as hell, and when I thought I will die…

“Master, hold tight!” Slyory warned me just before doing something insane.

“Huh! what-”

“ZZZZZZRRRRRMMMM”

Slyory began drilling a hole into the ground. He did it often, but it was the first time he did it with me on him; he drilled and drove into the hole just a second before the nuclear shot hit the stands.

It was our luck that we were alive or we would have been dead by now; we were underground and Sathanus above the ground. We had no plan on how to defeat him or how to protect ourselves.

“Master, I have an idea.” while I was worrying about all this, Slyory came with a solution.

“Yes, what is it?” I asked him. And he whispered in my ear and his plan was so good that I was ready to take the risk.

“Leviathan, come out of your coop. You can’t hide from me!” Sathanus was provoking me from the top of the ground and it was pissing me off.

“Just wait a little longer. I will come to shut the crappy mouth of yours! Slyory, lets go with you plan,”

Everything was planned, and it was time to resurface to claim my victory.

“Where are you? I am waiting for you!” He was roaming around the arena in wait for me, but he did not know of our plans. And the moment came when we strike back. Slyory drilled out the ground from the inside and in a second, he was on the top of the land.

“You’re back ha-ha! I will kill…”

“WHACK!”

Slyory slapped him into the walls by his tail quickly so he can’t make any move, but he was strong and was expecting something like this, unlike last time. He quickly stood up and rushed to attack me, who was supposed to be on his back.

He was excited enough to leap directly a large distance in just one jump. He again swung his deadly war hammer to attack, but this time when he arrived. I was not on Slyory’s back, and it confused him; he looked for me left and right and as he turned back…

“Hello, honey!” I was behind him with my summoned snakes supporting my legs. I was using them as a prosthetic mechanical leg, and I was on my riding first and the largest serpent whom I named ‘Thurzer’. I knew it will shock and confuse him and I wanted to take advantage of the moment and so I did,

“SLAM!!”

I slammed him onto the ground. With the big tail of Thurzer, and the impact was twice as painful as last one. I even heard the crackling sound of bones. That was so satisfying. But he was still not unconscious. So, to be cautious, I chanted a spell over all three of us.

“Camouflage.” And we got invisible to his sight. This was the best moment for me to attack.

“Slyory! Wrap him around!”

He was conscious, but he was in a state where it takes some time to recover. As I ordered Slyory, he wrapped him around his body so he can’t move anymore. And now it was time to chant the final two spells.

“SUMMON!” hundreds of snakes crawled from all over the stadium and covered Sathanus with their bodies.

“SLEEP BREATH” I used a spell that I learned during my training that adds a sleepy fragrant in the air that is exhaled by me or my snakes. He was covered by my snakes and when the spell got activated, he passed out and I was the last man standing.

“Yaaayyy!!!” I jumped in the air with joy as I defeated him in the match.

“I WON!!!”
