“What’s a dark devil?” Sabir asked.

He always picked up smallest details that other tend to ignore, and this time it was something interesting…

“A dark devil? What’s a dark devil, aren’t devil already dark?” Me and Skyler looked at each other and spoke at once.

“You don’t know? Fine, I will tell you, and Kai, listen carefully. It’s important for you to know about this as you’re one of the devil kings.” Lee sighed and slightly adjusted his head.

“So, a dark devil is a species of devils that doesn’t reveal their identity. Usually, they are stronger than other devil and quicker too and-” as he explained Rose interrupted him with a question.

“Master Lee, you said something contradicting. It doesn’t fit well!” She was talking about something that we again missed.

“What? What is it?” Lee asked with frown lines visible on his forehead.

“A moment ago, while you were explaining about angels you mentioned you are a dark devil and just a minute after that you said dark devils don’t reveal their identity usually so, why did you do that?” Rose question was unexpected of her, as Lee heard her a smile appeared on his face. We all were looking at him as children, as he was appearing suspicious now.

“What do you think? Why did I tell you all? I know if I ask you, you’ll come with bizarre answers, so I will make it easy for you, because you all are my family!!” his answer moved my heart, and we all felt soft and special together.

“Look, a dark devil is like a forbidden type of devil. It’s banned because of the destruction it brings and the dark aura that envelops around a dark devil is dense enough that if you put a finger in it, I am not sure if the finger will come out unharmed.”

“Half of their powers are sealed to protect others from their enormous power, but the main reason is they are cursed. If a dark devil uses more than half of his, then only one thing takes birth is chaos. And to use it, the dark devil has to break the seal, and when the seal breaks, it’s only havoc. If the dark devil is facing an enemy and if he breaks the seal, only one remains either the enemy or the devil.”

“DO YOU ALL UNDERSTAND NOW!” Lee raised his voice, so it’d reach everyone, as he was weak.

“Yeah, we do, hey! Hey! By this I remember Kai! You were telling something, what is it?” Skyler shouted.

“Oh yeah, it slipped my mind. Since everyone is here, I will tell my biggest secret to you all okay!” I took a deep breath and looked at everyone’s face and decided to let it all out today.

“I am not from this world. I guess you all know that it’s not something new, but I want to tell you more about you. I was just a shut in high-schooler when I got teleported here. I always lived alone before my father disappeared. I was depressed than I found a family here, you all.”

“Before I came here, many things happened that I never told any of you. The thing is, I get déjà vu while I sleep and it’s always of the near future and it’s always of something I can never think of. first déjà vu I had here, was when we went to recover Sabir’s ring I somehow managed to change the future, then it was before battle of Basilisk and many other times as well,” I was flowing with emotions and I was saying all I was carrying in my heart for so long to the people I loved the most now.

“What? You mean, you had dreams of us dying and those dreams were meant to come true? What the hell, Kai? Why did you never tell us?” Skyler was listening to me carefully and as I told her this, she bawled at me.

“I- I am sorry. I didn’t want to worry you about it. I thought I could handle it alone, but I couldn’t I always got help or else I would never have saved you all. I am sorry for telling you this late.”

“Alright go on, tell us more,” said Sabir.

“The day I was teleported I had a déjà vu where I died and to avoid that, I opened a door mistakenly and it somehow teleported me here where I met Skyler, but before I met you. I met someone else, someone important. A god.” As I mentioned, I met a god. Everyone became more sceptic and focused.

“A god? You mean a literal god? Don’t kid us, Kai, it’s not easy to meet a god and for a human, it’s more like impossible!” All three of them didn’t believe me, and began to act as I was bragging.

“WHY WOULD I LIE! WHY?” I yelled.

“Who was the god? Tell us? We want to know what god met you?” Skyler spoke in an annoying tone.

“Fine, it was the goddess of the world, the one who protects world from other worlds. In other words, ‘the door of realms’ Ecirel, she was the goddess I met, when I met her, we had a little argument and then she tasked me with a job.”

“WHAT!!!! WHAT DID YOU SAY?? SAY IT AGAIN?? WHO WAS HER?” they all became aggressive as I told them Ecirel’s name.

“Hey, calm down! Why are you all so furious!!!” It was hard for me to understand their craziness over a name. But I sensed it was something this world people knew only.

“Ecirel, she was the goddess who I met before coming here. She’s pale and beautiful. She wears black colored outfits, mostly. Right? See, I am telling the truth.” it amazed All of their faces as they heard some horror story.

“It’s feels so lucky to have someone who has met such a goddess, Kai. Meeting Ecirel is like winning the main prize in a lottery that has been played by whole world at the same time. Just seeing her worth billions. By the way what was the job she asked you to do?” Lee explained and asked about the main question.

“Yes, that’s the main purpose of my life. And now as my father’s dead I am thinking about other people who’s life might have been changed because of this.”

“There are many other worlds in this universe and all of them are separated with a door but when I entered this world I mistakenly opened the door and broke it but now, it’s not getting fixed so she tasked me to find a shield that can block anything and can fix the door for some time till she finds a way to permanently fix it and that’s why I was eager to come to Devsplid as it’s a high mana zone and there’s a possibility of the shield being here.”

“So, what happens when this world door merges?” Sabir asked.

“Well, as you saw me and Lee got teleported into a parallel world and we were lucky that we made it back or I guess we might never have seen you again, the worlds will keep merging and lives of millions of people across the universe is in danger.”

“Do you all understand it now?”

“Yeah, so our main goal is to find the Ancilia. At least now we now know where we have to go.” Said Skyler.

“I feel as a big burden of my shoulders are gone now!” I took a whiff of relief.

“I wonder why Ecirel chose you! I feel jealous,” Skyler nagged.

“Hey, I have something else to tell to, but please don’t get angry!” I spoke with blushed face.

“I have a girlfriend!”

“What? what did you say? For real! Don’t joke Kai! Who’s she? Why you never told us.”

Their reaction was wonderful. All of them looked happy for me, but it was for a short period. As I told the person who I was dating, all hell broke loose.

“It’s Ecirel we are dating!”

“Huh! WHAT!!!”

“What do you mean, you’re dating her? Or we will kill you!!”

“Yes, me and Ecirel are dating. It’s true please don’t. kill me. She was so beautiful and kind that I fell for her and I don’t know why, but she loves me too!”

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND TALKING ABOUT A GODDESS LIKE THAT!”

All three of them were mad. I never saw any of them this raged. Their faces were like, as I told them, I am dating their little sister who’s fifteen-year-old. I was afraid, and I felt lucky at the same moment.

“I am sorry, but I need to flex here. We have kissed each other and have been on date!!”

“WE WILL KILL YOU! KAI WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!”

“HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!! S SAVE ME ANYONE PLEASE”
