The Dream Saga - Chapter 93

While we talked, someone knocked on the door. I asked Rose to open the door as she was closer to it.

The door opened and the person next to it was Lee, along with Skyler and Sabir.

“Hey, Lee. Too early in the morning? Something important?” I waved at him and asked, as he never visited me so early in the morning.

“Hey, Kai, how are you? are you doing well? Ah, well yes, the royal healer will be meeting you in half an hour and we all just wanted to check up on you! Huh, seems like you’ve got a guest.” He walked in and looked at Beelzebub behind me and made an amazed face..

“Hello Lee Ouroboros, nice to meet you. It’s a pleasure to meet you, you are quite popular among the woman of the. country ha-ha, come have a seat! And I would love if miss Skyler and Mr. Sabir, you two would join us as well,” he politely greeted all three of them and asked them to join him.

“Hello Master Beelzebub, it’s a pleasure meeting you,” they sat on the couch beside me while greeting him back.

“Well, I’ve been thinking about-” as they all settled down, I began talking, but Skyler interrupted me.

“Aww, look at her sleeping so soundlessly. She’s so pretty, such an angel. I was to caress her more!” Skyler took hope in her arms and began to jump because she appeared so adorable to her.

“Wait!” while she was caressing Hope, Beelzebub yelled in shock!

“What happened? Tom, are you fine?” I asked.

“HEY! DID YOU NOTICE THIS!!!” His eyes were opened wide in shock he was staring at everyone’s face. I couldn’t understand what happened to him and why he was acting that way.

“WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT I DIDN’T NOTICE! TELL ME!!” I shouted back at him and he looked at him with a scared look in the face.

“You didn’t notice right! Look at Hope! Her body she’s small!”

“HUH! What do you mean by she’s small?” All of us who were in the room stared at him with a weird look on his face.

“Yes, she’s small since the start!” Lee replied.

“WAIT!” Rose yelled.

“I think Master Beelzebub is right! She was around five-year-old when we first saw her. Her body shrunk! Look at it” as he told me the reason why he was screaming, I had sudden flashbacks of the moment when I first saw her.

“AAAAHHGGHHHH!!!” I was screaming now too.

“Kai, I remember now! What the hell!” Lee who was there at the tournament joined our screaming aswell.

“Rose, don’t you remember it too? When I asked you to take care of her you didn’t took a baby you took a grown girl with you!” I asked Rose who was holding the baby now.

“Yes, my master! But I don’t remember seeing her shrunk how did it happen!”

We all were in chaos, we felt as we had an alien among us, who had something new every day, and it was scaring us now.

“GUYS! CALM DOWN!!!” Skyler stood up with her arms on a waist and she was the least shocked somehow, I looked at Sabir he was shocked too but was not showing too much, everyone in the room was shocked and only one who wasn’t was Skyler.

“What! Why aren’t you shocked!!!” I yelled.

“Hey, I know it’s freaking insane but it’s an angel’s physiology! I will explain, everyone take a seat!” she spoke as she knew what happened.

“Look she’s an angel and there will be many things you will face in future that are weird according to devils, okay let me explain, first thing you will know today is an angel grows faster compared to other organisms. And they can shape shift there body according to their preference like an animal. a woman a man anything they think is good. But since Hope is a kid and does not understand too much about it so she transforms her body her subconsciousness wants. Maybe she’s actually ten year old or a six year old or a three year old who knows but she’s still a kid” Skyler explained everything in a personified and in a beautiful manner but her explaining about an angel raised questions.

“I See, the angels really are weird thank god I was born a devil.” After listening to the reason Beelzebub took a whiff of relief as he was the most shock from all of us because he was the only person here who was raised only and only by devils while I was a human before, Sabir was a werewolf, Skyler was a human too.

“Hey, Skyler I have many questions too ask!” as I asked Skyler’s face went white as she encountered a ghost.

“Um, UM what do I say!” she began to act suspicious and that felt weird to me.

“Ah, uh that well when I met you Kai, a year ago I had another partner who was an angel too. She lived with me and  I involved her in my business as her ability to shape shift made it easy for us to loot and fraud people easily she was a runaway angel she never told me the reason why she ran, she taught me so many things about angels, fallens and devils so don’t question me about my knowledge about these.”  She explained all this in haste. She was sweating and she was afraid I felt as she was hiding something but I didn’t want to interrogate her so I let it go.

“Ah, Okay, we get it now. I wonder how old she is.”

“Ah, well guys I guess it’s time when I should leave the cavalry is waiting for me I don’t want to be late for a trip,” Beelzebub stood up from his chair and setted his outfit and told us he had to go.

“Oh, I guess yes, you shouldn’t be late on a official tour. Well good bye I will watch your match I hope the fallens treat you well, good bye take care.” I fulfilled my formalities of saying goodbye as well.

“Bye everyone, I will bring souvenirs with me.”

And with a last good bye He left the room and went on his wonderful journey to the fallen angel land and to raise the devils flag throughout the world, I was hoping for his well being and victory.

“Ah, I will meet him again, by the way. I remember something important too.” I clapped my hands and looked at everyone with confident eyes.

“what is it?” Sabir asked.

“Hmm well I guess we should start our journey to find the shield as well, wasting time will cause more damage to lives of people around the universe.”

“So, Lee, I asked you to find the highest mana zone throughout the country did you find anything?” I asked Lee with a cup of tea in my hands.

Lee quickly pulled out a report from his coat’s pocket and handed it over to me.

“Oh, yeah, I looked for it last night there were not many information on the internet so I went to the library to find something about highest mana areas and I found many it took me whole night to pinpoint the highest of them all. It’s a temple a forbidden temple on the outskirts of the country it’s of a god, but no one is allowed to enter it, and if one enters inside they’re on their own.”

“I see this seems pretty nice, I guess we might find our shield or some clues to the shield it would be better either way let’s go there but going there unprepared might be worse. So get more info about it”

“Who will go to the temple this time! Since it’s not safe I don’t think it’s a good idea to take Hope and Skyler with us,” Sabir spoke and his words were making sense. Taking Hope and Skyler with us might be dangerous as they both can’t do anything.

“Hey did you indirectly called me useless!” Skyler bawled at Sabir.

“No! No! Skyler you got it all wrong I didn’t mean that I just don’t want you and hope in trouble.”

“But Sabir we can’t leave them here as well, I know there are many people here who don’t like me and I have caused so much problems for them. And I am continuously getting on their bad side like at first I made Lee the main commander instead of other high ranking lord. I took an angel inside the palace even many of the public don’t like this decision, I brought you a werewolf and Skyler inside the palace I guess it’s enough reason for them to kill me. And if I died, there wont be any fuss they will gladly summon a new king.”

Whatever I told them hitted them hard and made them think,

“I guess you are right! But I have an idea!”
