“Come quickly,” Su Ling Fen said tersely and quickly sped off in the direction of the most desolate and isolated courtyards that the Jade Emperor had not seen in many years.

They directed the Jade Emperor to a room where a little girl laid with a blanched white face with her hands were intertwined and place on her stomach like a corpse would be put in a coffin.

There was slight breathing that could be heard from her but to the Jade Emperor, it was a hideous sight. He couldn’t take that all the twenty years that he wasted on some other girl, his real daughter was on the brink of death and in a coma.

He forgot about the consequences of being a child born from a taboo relationship and saw how much his daughter was going through. He had seen that her form was like a corporeal corpse that had no soul left but her life force could still be felt though it was only a sliver left.

Bai Ran had already attached the system and only hoped for Yume to wake up and come back stronger. Su Ling Fen, Chang Su and Ju Ren Lei also waited for Yume to come back to the God’s realm. And the Jade Emperor…he was going to apologize to her. No more excuses.

He had to face her. And this time, it was his turn to wait for her.

Yume felt she was released from her curse as she fell into darkness after hugging her friends. She was about to be free but soon, everything shattered.

A cold robotic voice sounded through Yume’s ears. Yume was not surprised at how much enthusiasm the system gave her. But what was so frustrating about this was that she was still not dead. When she thought everything would scatter, every single thing she let go had not let her go.

Yume was silent and the system kept speaking.

Yume quirked up her eyebrows since she heard Bai Ran’s name and how he was trying to help her in her comatose state in the God realm. Realizing that her existence could not be erasable within the heart of the four boys, Yume sighed.

She had the best friends yet they were risking everything to preserve her body and existence. And so, Yume spoke up, agreeing to the system but she had to find something interesting about the system.

“I agree,” Yume said. “Though why an administrating system rather than a low system that follows the ways of being a villainess or some cannon fodder?”

Yume was rather curious. She had heard a lot of stories from Bai Ran about his creations and how each system had a role to carry but this system was different than what Bai Ran had told her about.

[Host is saying something that is true. However, I am just a newborn administering system under Bai Ran’s rapid creation to bind you closer to your corporeal body. There are only a few administering systems but for you to be granted whatever you want with Bai Ran’s order, you can do anything in any world without needing to spend much money. “Then what if you fail a task?” Yume was finally intrigued by how much Bai Ran cared for her like a little sister.

But then, you have to know that Yume sometimes forgets that she treats them all like a family that she never had. So she has an idea that Bai Ran was reciprocating what she gave to him sincerely but she doesn’t know what it’s called. Anyway, the system was ready to explain and it wasn’t like it bothered him.

[Then your body will lose some color until you make up for it in the next worlds. The exact number of energy will be deducted from your total. Seeing the damage that your body is going through, let’s just estimate that you must gather around 300,000 energy. It may be more or be less. For now, you have been bestowed 2,000 energy as a beginner’s pack and gift to you and make sure that you finish your tasks. Don’t slack and strive for the goal, okay?]

Hearing the cold robotic voice resounding in the air around her, Yume said, “Yes, then let’s begin through our journey to restore my body.”

Though it sounded very lackluster in her voice, it was just supposed to be like that. And now being a host that doesn’t have to be bound to a lower system, Yume welcomed the sight of her traversing the worlds to restore her body. She was somewhat happy but before she wanted to be transferred into her first world, she was going to ask a very bizarre question that she felt not many systems had.

“Can I change your appearance than just hearing your voice from above?” Yume spoke up.

In the dark space that Yume was in, she was bound to get bored and listening to a voice without a body just made her a little queasy. Um…more like uncomfortable. But, it was a good try if she could do that.

[Host? The reason why I am here is to serve you and guide you through the worlds that you will journey through. And through the master and servant contract that you have agreed upon, you are the master so all the altercations that you make are to your decisions.]

The system gave Yume a satisfactory answer and she began to create her system’s appearance and body in the vast dark space that she was stuck in. It took her merely her imagination to create everything something surreal of her system and was satisfied.

“Let’s go traverse the first world then!” Yume spoke happily but somehow sounded very bland.

It just made someone really want to laugh.

[Host will be sent to your tutorial world first before we start your journey to restoring your body so please do your best. The tutorial world will only aid in giving you a head start in energy but the real consequences will start after the tutorial. Do have fun and make sure to experience many feelings along the way to show your friends how much you have gained from this place. Now, I will confirm this one more time.

Yume felt the warmth from such a cold-voiced system so she made sure that her system will get compensation in the future.

“Yes,” she answered softly and tilted the side of her lips, making an attempt to smile.

There was a long silence before her system to speak up again.

On the other side, the commander looked again at his wrists in his jail and sighed.

“The little tiger has left. I wonder where we’ll meet?” he muttered.

While he was in his own thoughts, his guards came and opened his cell quietly.

“Commander, it is time for your decree. The Jade Emperor has personally come to bestow you your punishment,” one of the guards said but this guard was not part of his army.

This guard belonged to the Jade Emperor’s palace security but nevertheless, respected the Commander any the same.

“Oh?” the commander huffed as he silently moved out of the jail and met with the Jade Emperor that came with swollen eyes unlike the days before. The commander, thought cold, was baffled but still kept his expressionless face on.

“Don’t matter about me,” the Jade Emperor sighed but still kept his sane behavior. “Today is the day that your punishment will start. I hope you have prepared yourself to go through many trials under the God of Fortune’s systems. To keep track with how you do in each world, the system that he has created will guide you along the way. However, each system is a random pick.”

The commander silently listened as the young Bai Ran made his appearance and ‘blew’ the system into the commander’s soul and murmured so only the commander could hear.

“This system is bestowed upon your soul bond. Wherever you travel, you will have to find your soulmate. That is your mission as I guess you have been trying to find her, am I right?” Bai Ran smiled and walked away before anyone could say anything.

The system that immediately attached to the commander, he could only sigh for Bai Ran realizing his desire to find his soulmate.

As Bai Ran is the God of Fortune, he will soon realize that the system isn’t just for show…
