The Dreams Of A Goddess - Chapter 2 1.1 Her First Impression

Yume was baffled at how real it felt like Lu Ru’s brother was touching her and was…repulsive. She didn’t know how to explain his touch but it felt damp and always searching for more.

Anyway, Yume had learned much more than she needed to know about Lu Ru’s memories and her experiences but you know, knowing it isn’t bad.

In the future, Yume would use it on a certain someone on her way to court him…

Yume was immediately distracted from her thoughts and looked in front of her, not eyeing anything exactly.

Tasks for Host to Finish:

1. Open up to Qiu Long Fei – 15,000 energy

2. Live a happy life – 5,000 energy

3. Find your love – 25,000 energy

Just three tasks?

Yume was confused. She thought that she was going to get a long list of things that she had to accomplish but it was three simple tasks.

Or that’s what she thought.

Her system spoke out. However, how was she supposed to find her lover? She had never tried to find any company nor did she think about it so she gave up knowing that she might never experience love. Even if she did, she was going to treat it as nothing and part of her memories.

“Let’s start, shall we?” Yume spoke and smiled. “We’re in the timeline that I have just come out from her hospitalization, right?”

It was going to be her first time exploring the outside world other than being in the God’s realm so she was going to take the opportunity to be a happy person despite her body’s original memories of her brother.

The system spoke with a robotic voice that caused Yume to frown. Even though she was told to have fun, she had act like the original but the only difference was her coming out to him. Yume wanted to escape but could only relent to the pestering goal she kept in mind: restoring her original body in God’s realm.

So Yume just got up from the bed that she was in and next thing she knew was falling down onto the floor. The crash was so loud that Yume heard running towards the room she occupied. Yume looked at the big t-shirt that covered all her vital parts except for some parts of her legs that showed the bruises that she obtained from the ‘exercise’ with her brother a few days ago.

Other than that, Yume was going to have to act her part and remember how to concentrate on expressing her emotions especially honing it when she tried it on the four boys and worked after a while so they wouldn’t see her go through pain when the power in her started going chaotic, breaking down her body slowly.

Yume put on a dazed expression looking down on the ground. A person had just arrived to see her figure propping herself on the ground. The person was Qiu Long Fei who saved her from the accident. He had not touched her nor seen her after her hospitalization for trauma. Other than that, he saved her and decided to take her in after hearing that the girl he saved did not have any family left. Her brother had died during the accident so he could only resort to taking care of the girl in front of him and left her to a maid for the time being.

He observed the dazed girl and saw some bruises that he never noticed on her legs. He saved her when she was with the boy that got shot and she froze in her spot while the shooter was on to her location. Qiu Long Fei did not allow it for he showed up faster than the shooter and carried her while calling for the ambulance to stop the scene from getting any further. By the time that he cleaned up the mess, she had fallen into sleep.

Fallen asleep? No. More like fainted into a comatose state and she was hospitalized before he asked for her to be moved to his home so she wouldn’t be assaulted by too much stimulation.

Qiu Long Fei looked back to the girl in front of him and saw accumulating tears welling up in her eyes before drops of tears fell to the floor. It was a beautiful scene that took his breath away but the most eye-catching thing was her fluttering eyelashes that squeezed out the tears. The pain was expressed in her eyes and panic. Qiu Long Fei did not want her to be hard on herself so he approached her slowly to comfort herself.

(A/N: Yume will be called Lu Ru from now on for this arc.)

Lu Ru felt his existence and turned to see him up close while his hands were close to her face. Lu Ru flinched at the slight contact that they shared for a while. Lu Ru stared into his eyes and felt comfortable.

Even though Lu Ru felt panic around him, Qiu Long Fei had an aura of comfort that Lu Ru had not felt in such a long time. Lu Ru continued to stare into his eyes before he cleared his throat to draw her attention not to his eyes but what he was about to say.

“Are you okay?” he spoke, retracting his hands from her face and changed his position to lending her a hand.

Lu Ru looked at his hands changing meanings and hesitated for a short second before reaching out to his hands for him to help her. Qiu Long Fei could see some trust flash through her eyes and felt relieved that Lu Ru wasn’t unresponsive.

“Yes,” she squeaked when she was helped out to stand.

The moment that she replied, Lu Ru wobbled in her stance to stand correctly. However, something went wrong and Lu Ru had a huge fright when something was moving in two different lower regions.

Lu Ru looked at Qiu Long Fei for a short second before looking away ashamed of herself. She could not get out of this awkward predicament.

Her image was about to be ruined and she could not express what she felt right now.
