The Dreams Of A Goddess - Chapter 4 1.3 Escape

Lu Ru carefully walked as she wouldn’t torture herself as much so she didn’t pay attention to where they were walking. When she stopped, she was assaulted by the aroma of a fruity scent in the massive bathroom. While she dazed, she had ended up in the bathtub full of bubbles. She was in a bubble bath and the older woman disappeared.

Lu Ru’s mind was in a frenzy and was confused in the first place. Why did she even have plugs? Was the former Lu Ru someone who was really in her own dreams while being with her brother or was it that Lu Ru had an affinity with BDSM so Lu Ru asked her system.

“Find the person. And tell me who it belongs to,” she ordered. Lu Ru had noticed that the older woman walked out the same direction but could not say anything because she didn’t want to arouse suspicion.

Lu Ru was tortured in the past so what she could do would be contradicting to her character. And so, Lu Ru just moved into the main area of the house. She had thought that she could have time to herself but no. The system had rebooted in front of her changed her tasks.

Lu Ru deadpanned. She had not planned for a task change but in order for her finish the world, she had to follow through.

1. Leave the Qiu household 5,000 energy

2. Find a career or build your own company 10,000 energy

3. Find your love. 15,000 energy

Lu Ru looked over her energy points and she was devastated. Her points that she could’ve racked up were lower than before but she couldn’t complain. Ayy…

There was no way that Lu Ru was happy but she wanted to finish this over so, there was no helping it.

Lu Ru changed her mind about the Qiu household and decided that she wanted to leave the house quickly and not stall on her tasks anymore.

No more sticking up to the Qiu’s and hug their big thighs. There was no way she was going to try to find her cousin, Qiu Feng. And no way in the universe that she was traveling will she fall in love with her cousin.

Not possible.

Lu Ru was resting her eyes and rereading the new tasks she was given but she did not feel the presence of Qiu Feng watching her peaceful face. Qiu Feng had unknowingly grasped Lu Ru’s hand and the contact of skin touching itself was able to wake Lu Ru from her daze and act scared and repulsed. Lu Ru had to finish her task quickly so Lu Ru started dashing for the door as Qiu Feng left his guard down and ran away from the Qiu house.

However, the place was big so getting out of the house was quite far away. Knowing that she will get caught soon if she slowed down, Lu Ru pushed her limits despite being quite sensitive and managed to leave the big house that may have been a mansion. She kept running with bare feet until she didn’t know where she was anymore. She was in the middle of a bustling street and all she could do was wander. She had wandered into some street of residence and the more she saw these places, the eerier it was.

And it just happened to be nighttime. She had been running for hours and the adrenaline that kicked in her veins had soon faded. She could feel the soreness and tired muscles that she could not feel earlier. Everything had caught up to her current state and she could not evade it. The pain of running for hours had not prevented her from falling on to the ground and faint.

For she had run away from the Qiu household, Lu Ru was quite a long distance away from them.
