The Dungeon Of Pandemonium - Volume 1 Chapter 21 Final Battle
The boss jumped at high speed straight at Jin’s throat. He moved out of the way and countered with a hit to the belly.
With such speed from both side, it was already at a level were no one else could enter the fight as they would be completely useless.
Seeing this, apart from amazement coming from the girls at the strength of Jin who had never shown his fighting strength, realization struck them that they truly were not the match of the boss.
They who had planned on fighting it four on one would have been completely obliterated in front of such speed and power.
Luckily, Jin was there to take over if not, death was the only thing waiting for them.
While fighting at high speed, Jin couldn’t help but praise himself for the years of training in martial arts he had made after the death of his parents. Coupled with the demon transformation, he was able to take the lead against the boss. However, it was only because of the magic scroll. Without it, they were completely equal.
Their high-speed battle continued for a few minutes before the effect of the scroll was over.
Jin took up a little distance and taking that small amount of time to activate his last scroll.
Right now, he felt utterly stupid for not buying more of them as they were truly useful right now.
On the side of the minions against the zombies and the four girls, the leopards were losing ground really fast as they died one after another.
Five minutes after the second scroll had been used, they finally managed to kill all the remaining leopards. The only one left was the boss.
Seeing that all of his kin had been killed, the boss fell into a rage and started to attack Jin madly. With the increase in speed, he had to move a little bit faster but with the scroll it was fine for the time being.
Now, the only way the fight would end would be when one of the two lost his boost first. Would it be Jin who still had five minutes with his scroll or would it be the boss who was using a great amount of energy to keep this speed and strength in his attacks?
The bate continued while Jin did his outmost beat to push back the giant leopard.
When it was almost the end of the five minutes, the leopard showed an opening and Jin followed it with a kick to the throat.
The leopard backed down a little after this having difficulty breathing. And at the same time, Jin lost his scroll boost.
He took back his stance and the leopard jumped at Jin once more. Being in a disadvantage, Jin had to use everything he could only to be able to stay alive. Don’t even think of attacking, he had difficulties blocking and avoiding the attacks.
Seeing that he was at a disadvantage, the girls heart fell as they thought that they were definitely going to lose. And it was at that moment that Jin got hit in the belly by the leopard and got flung in the wall fifty meters behind him.
Thanks to his strengthened body from the demon transformation, he survived the hit but was badly wounded.
“””Master!””” The three girls shouted while they tried to go help him. Iris, on the contrary felt something peculiar while looking at Jin.
She felt that the aura surrounding Jin had somehow changed. Normally, it was a normal demon aura, one that would only show his strength. However, right now it was different. He felt completely different from normally.
While she was thinking this, small scales appeared on Jin’s leg and his feet’s nails were getting longer just like the ones on his hands.
Normally, a demon would only have scales on the arms but sometimes, it would happen that an anomaly happened so she didn’t pay it much attention. What she payed more attention to was the strength of Jin.
Her, that had been a demon for far longer than him was actually weaker in terms of strength. Well, it was possibly due to the martial arts training he had once mentioned but still this was too much.
On Jin’s side, once his scales on his legs appeared he was surprised and finally delighted as he felt that his legs were way more powerful than before.
He got up and stared at the leopard before running to him. With the new leg strength he had, he finally could deal with the speed of the leopard while he was in a berserk state.
While all of this happened, only a few seconds passed and the girls who wanted to go help him had just started running towards him.
Seeing him get up once again, they all released a breath of relief since they would all die if he were to lose the battle with the leopard.
Jin faced the beast and finally managed to take the advantage as the boss was feeling more and more of fatigue.
They fought for another ten minutes before the boss fell when Jin gave a kick right at the jaw of the boss, breaking it and his spinal cord at the same time.
Finally, the fight was over. Jin was full of sweat as he had never felt so tired since he had come to this world.
But, since they didn’t hear the notification of the trial being over, they stayed on guard.
For a few minutes, no one moved and they were all looking around them to look for the remaining beast.
Finally, the sound of the notification appeared and everyone relaxed when they heard it.
‘Notification: Congratulation for completing the trial: Beast tide.’
“””Finally!””” Again, the three girls talked together.
Jin didn’t wait for a second more and went back to the floor house to the dungeon core. It was great that the trial was over but the dungeon was still defenceless and it was extremely dangerous.
When arriving in front of the dungeon core, the number of GP had acc.u.mulated up to seven hundred thousand points.
He used some points in order to summon back the monsters he had lost and finally the dungeon was peaceful again.
