The Dungeon Of Pandemonium - Volume 1 Chapter 22 After Trial Village Side
In the village, on the first floor, the hunters were still on guard against more incoming beasts.
Some of the hunters who acted as spy’s left the dungeon in order to take a look at their surroundings. With no monsters in sight for a few kilometres, it was safe to say that the invasion of beast was completely over.
They didn’t think much of it as dungeons were strange to begin with. The man started to rebuild for a third time the gates and the walls while the woman took care of the dead beasts.
The fur could be used in order to make clothing and the meat could all be eaten. It would solve their food problem for a few months.
With around a hundred dead giant beast, they could get a good amount of food. Everyone in the village started working on these two things since both the reconstruction and the salting of the meat was extremely important.
Everyone was very happy and some even wanted to go down the floor to see if there were more dead beasts but the chief was against it as the last time someone went down, they were brutally killed.
They should focus for now on finishing building back the walls and the gate and salt the food they didn’t have time to waste.
Once all of this was done, the men’s returned mining with even more fervour than before.
Ever since they had all moved in the dungeon, a lit of building had been made. There was an hotel, a restaurant, houses, warehouses and a lot of artisan shops.
With all of these, it resembled more and more as a true village. Compared to before, the ground was clean, the water was close, the food was plenty and the villagers were happy.
From the chief’s point of vue, this was one of the best time the village had ever encountered. His decision to move the village completely had been truly the right decision.
With the artisan getting so much work, there had been more and more of them and now they had around fifty good metal artisan instead of their five from before.
Thanks to this, the hunter’s now had an armour on them and they could sell their extras to the other villages. With this, their village had become extremely rich and the strongest one among all the tribes of their part of the wilderness.
The men mining in the tunnels were getting better and better and the amount they got everyday had increased. Also, thanks to the work if the men’s the tunnels were getting bigger and bigger and even the living part of the first floor had become bigger.
Since the miners had done such a good job for opening the dungeon for him. Of course, Jin wouldn’t mind making it bigger, it only meant that there would be more people in the future living there.
Soon enough, the mining had reached the entrance to the second floor of the dungeon and as such, the men’s built a metal fence to keep the child’s from entering.
It was extremely good that the dungeon was getting bigger as the chief was planing on having the other tribes join in the first floor of the dungeon.
After the defeat of the previous strongest tribe at the hands if them, many tribes had expressed their desire to enter the dungeon and merge their tribes together.
Of course, at that moment the chief had refused since they didn’t have enough food but now was a different story.
With all those weapons for sale, they could easily get more food from the tribes and the chief had planned on sending a representative to sell the weapons and armour in the city to get more food.
He once had gone to the city and they were always in need for weapons and armour as there were a lot of soldiers and adventurers there.
But, he didn’t want to open the doors to adventurers or the soldiers as he believed that they would take over the place and drive them away.
All in all, the village was progressing at an even faster rate that he had believed it to be possible. And it was all thanks to the dungeon.
These were his plans for the future as such, he sent a few hunters to every tribe in the surrounding territory to invite them to come live in the dungeon.
Of course, when they would arrive the chief’s would have a discussion to create a hierarchic order or it would be the total chaos in the first floor and it wasn’t what any of them wanted.
On Jin’s side, he was looking at everything that was happening in the dungeon and when he heard what the tribe’s chief was saying he got extremely excited ad it would grant them more GP this way.
Still, he felt kind of bad for peep… no! Looking and spyi.. no! Looking and listening to what they were saying but still he believed it was a necessity as it concerned the survival of the dungeon.
With everything the chief had decided to do, it was a very good thing but the part of not letting adventurers and soldiers in was maybe a little problem.
To adventurers, a dungeon was a great ressource to both make money and a place to get stronger. So, of course, if they were denied entry, they would most likely fight with them as the dungeon truly didn’t belong to the villagers.
“Well, who cares anyway? One way or another if a fight breaks out, there will be dead and that means GP. But the best would be for the villagers to accept the adventurers and the adventurers live here with the villagers this way it would be way more profitable for the villagers, the adventurers and of course, me.”
“Well let’s see what happens, at worse, I’ll just go and explain things to the chief, he should listen to me if the guys who I showed the dungeon remembers me.”
