The Dungeon Of Pandemonium - Volume 1 Chapter 39 End Of The Dungeons Peace
The elite team of monsters finished to collect the required number of GP and to clean up the forest all around the dungeon a few hours before the end of the trial.
Jin who was watching everything from the house floor of the dungeon with Venus what extremely proud of Mika’s idea. Making it possible to collect all the GP was mostly thanks to her.
Jin was keeping track of the number of GP necessary until the end of the trial and once it reached the required amount, the numbers disappeared signalling the end of the work.
Venus than went out of the dungeon to go meet with the elite team out of the dungeon to send them back.
When they came back to the dungeon, after cleaning up every monsters outside, they mentioned that they only killed them outside. The adventurer’s and citizens living in the dungeon immediately went out to get the dead monsters body. Their body while outside of the dungeon was extremely useful items. Contrarily to the dungeon, the monsters corpse didn’t disappear and dropped a magic core so it was quite a good loot for them.
The formation of elite monsters once again passed on the first floor of the dungeon. It didn’t take long for them to get from the first to the training floor once again while the different leaders of the dungeon went to the house. They waited for the end of the trial.
Jin and the others used a little time to get some sleep as they had already been up for almost 19 hours.
When they woke up thanks to an alarm that Jin had installed with GP, they waited a few minutes to the end of the trial and to see what was going to happen. In the dungeon notification it was written that it was the final trial so, normally, something else was going to happen. Probably, something entirely different than the two trials they had gotten.
While they were a little bit stressed out, Jin was particularly proud about his dungeon and his elite team which could protect the dungeon in any emergency.
“Dungeon notification: End of the second and final trial.”
Finally, as they were getting nervous, they got the dungeon’s notification.
“Final trial completed. Now revealing the dungeon on the map and taking down the dungeon’s protection.”
When these words appeared on the core, everyone who was looking at it were extremely proud to have accomplished the final trial. However, at the same time they were puzzled about the dungeon’s protection.
“Two new options have been added to the dungeon’s core. These two options are the following. 1. Joining a faction with other dungeon is a possibility. 2. Dungeon’s war have been unlocked.”
While reading this, the few questions that they had were actually increasing and Jon felt like he had an headache. He pressed on the dungeon’s core two options to see their description.
“Option 1: The dungeon’s faction. The dungeon master of the dungeon is allowed to create a team or to join a team in order to support each others with monsters or GP. However, the GP is only a loan and must be repaid in a certain amount of time with interest. As for the monsters, they can only be used in normal dungeon’s activity and not dungeon’s war. More options are to be discovered by the user in the future.”
“Option 2: Dungeon’s war. A dungeon’s war can happen when the dungeon’s protection is down. A dungeon war is meant for two dungeon’s to link together through a portal created by the dungeon’s core and to fight each others with their own monsters. Once dead, the monsters will not revive at the end of the battle. When a war happens, a bet of either territory, GP or monster’s will be created. The monster’s which has been bet will be teleported out before it dies by the dungeon’s core in necessity. Also, once the bets are confirmed by both parties, one cannot change them.”
All this information was extremely important but it all came down in one go. Because of this, Jin had to read it three times to be sure to understand it all.
When they were all done in reading it, Jin touched the dungeon’s core once more and a map appeared on it. The different locations of all the dungeons were on it and one could see the territories a dungeon was controlling and which dungeon’s were his neighbours.
When Jin thought about this, the first thing that passed through his mind was the fact that every dungeon’s could fight each others. Because of this, they had to at least be conscious which meant that each dungeon’s had a dungeon’s master. Well, he had already expected it but he couldn’t understand why the other dungeon didn’t show themselves like he did.
“While we got a lot of news from the dungeon’s core today, the action only starts and it will only get more bothersome. Well, since we don’t kill that much humans from the dungeon, I guess we will make due with the monsters from other dungeon.”
Jin was a little bit worried, but he knew that it was only the beginning. Looking at the map, he saw that his territory was extremely small and that it wouldn’t take much time before other dungeon’s would pray on him.
“Should we join a faction in the future if we get the opportunity?” Venus was a little bit worried about the future and asked since it would help to have a backer for the dungeon.
“We will see the circ.u.mstance and who that person might be if we happen to get an invitation. However, for the moment we will stay alone. Anyone see any problems with that?”
“No, master!” Everyone answered to Jin this way even Iris who normally should have had the same status as him. He looked at her but seeing the look in her eyes, it would seem that she totally believed herself to be like the others not that he minded since it was easier for her to be accepted by the other monsters.
“Okay! The meeting is adjourned! Go back to the training floor to train more than ever! Iris summon more monsters of the same king we already possess for the elite team. We will need another team of at least the same number we already have. If we ever get in a dungeon’s war, we need to have both attack and defence, not that I know how the dungeon’s wars work in the first place.”
“Yes, I understand. Do I summon more vampires and succubus as well?”
“Yes, you can summon them as well. However, don’t summon other ancestral vampires for the moment like Venus. Summon normal ones to train on the training floor. Also, make the training floor bigger so that each races can have their own places with a lot of room.”
“Perfect, I will go immediately.” Iris, with the other monsters left the house and went back to the next floor.
As for Venus, she made tea for Jin as he was looking at the map in paper that he had bought from the dungeon’s core where all the dungeon’s were located. He decided that he had to meet with the king’s of all the kingdoms to talk about this matter. It was likely that he would have a war with the dungeon’s in the four kingdom’s. However, he didn’t pay it much mind since he had learned that they had mostly abandoned the dungeon’s in their own territory for this one as his was most useful to them.
He really had to talk with them. He had a headache just thinking about this. Maybe he was working a little too hard on surveilling the dungeon and protecting it, he should leave things to a monster’s team.
He took some medicine that he bought with the dungeon’s core and went to sleep.
