“You are destined to be my successor” suddenly the man that stood behind Eien spoke up. Jax didn’t know what was going on what was this about being a successor?

“What do you mean” the man looked at Jax while he slowly walked back to his throne. Every step was heavy it was as if the truth about Jax’s life was walking away.

Before Jax could ask anything the man started to speak. “You know who I am Jax?” The man asked seriously, “no I don’t” Jax answered the man looked at him while his gaze sharpened. A intent of a king suddenly rushed out of the man, “I’m Cupid the one they call the God of Love”

Jax looked bewildered before him sat a god and the god of love at that. The man who was rumored to be someone that shot hearths, “I think I know what you are thinking but I’m not him please listen to the story I’m about to tell you.”

The man looked serious before he started his story, “I am just like you Jax I once was reincarnated because I died of heart ache. It was back when I lived in a world filled with cultivation I was a talented cultivator I could be considered a powerhouse in different continents.”

Cupid seemed to rejoice in his past life but slowly a sad look took over.

“I lived a good life I fought many battles I lived a life of wealth and enjoyed pushing my limits. Then I met my wife she was a loving woman a woman without any cultivation. It was as if she was the purest person on the whole planet yet I later learned that that was not true.

Cupid suddenly teleported in front of Jax while tapping his shoulder comforting words entered his ears but the one thing that stood out the most were the words. “Forget her she is not worthy of you.”

An instant later Cupid sat on his throne once more while his story resumed, “I died of heartache and met with a person that called himself a low god. Yet I now know that this man is the one who shaped everything.

Maybe he is the only true one that can call himself a god but that doesn’t matter. I reincarnated in my own world since there was cultivation and I trained and eventually, I killed the man who took my wife.

“I’m not like those legends im a god of love I love every race equally. There was a war many millions of years ago and the higher realm was divided into the Demon Kingdom and the God kingdom just like your world is right now.

I entered that world as the peacekeeper and anyone that breaks the rules I set will be” Cupid didn’t even have to finish his sentence for Jax to understand. “But I was injured by the Demon Saint and the God Saint who would expect them to team up against me,” Cupid told.

“And then you were reborn I don’t know why the universe creator did it. But when you were born i felt the immense love and the immense potential at that time the universe creator spoke to me” Cupid said while he looked Jax in the eyes, “he told me you are destined to take my place once you reach this realm” a long silence presented into the room while Cupid asked the most important question.
