The Empress’ Revenge - Chapter 12 Power

After minutes of waiting, Yifan finally arrives with to rabbit on his hand while Yun Xi has already made a fire. They roasted the rabbits and silently eats.

“What are you going to do next, Yun Xi?” Yifan asked. “What if there is no Master existing in the other village?”

Yun Xi looks at Yifan. It was suspicious of him to know that there is a village on the other side of Mount Jirai and the way he moves.

Even though Yun Xi knows that Yifan is pretending, she continues to act innocently. “If there is no Master then I must look for another one but not in the Kingdom of Gonglu.”

“May I ask you why are you dressed up as a boy?”

Yun Xi’s eyes dimmed. As a matter of fact, she can dress as a woman but the dangers out there stops her idea. Another thing is, it would be inappropriate for a woman to travel, only with a horse. A woman should use the carriage.

“It’s too dangerous, ” she answers. She lays on the ground and rolls on the side. “I’m going to sleep. You too.”

She closed her eyes and drifted into the darkness.

Yun Xi bows and gave her greetings. “Greetings to the Goddess of Reincarnation.”

The Goddess nods and smiles at her. “Xun Guan. No, Yun Xi, I am to inform you that there is an object near you that may help you search the something that I am talking about. It will not only help you search for it but it will also give and increase your strength.”

“Understood my Goddess.”

Her dream was cut when Yun Xi wakes up. She took a deep breathe and wipe her sweat. She looked at Yifan who is asleep at the side of her horse.

Yun Xi stood up and dust the dirt on her clothes. She then, search for the power that can help her on her journey.

There, she found a cave. It was dark until Yun Xi light up with her element power, fire. She raises her hand but the fire was put out by the strong wind. But why is there a strong wind deep in the cave?

Yun Xi continues to walk forward without fire to lighten her way. She reached the end of the cave.

Something is glowing in front of her. Yun Xi tries to pull out of it from the wall and when it did, a beautiful jade stone is on her hands and could feel the power within.

“Who dares to steal my power stone?”
