Feng Sujin watched the scene in front of her and rage filled her heart. Her eyes reddened and her lips trembled.
She quickly rushed over, “What are you doing? How could you do this?”
“We are simply acting according to orders. House Feng said they don’t care whether this person is dead or alive, and our hospital has its own rules as well. If the patient’s family doesn’t care, why should the hospital care?”
Feng Sujin heard the man’s words and thought of the old madam’s actions. She was so furious that she wanted to hit them.
She suppressed the anger in her heart and spoke as calmly as possible, “I am this person’s family, I’m his daughter. House Feng’s people temporarily won’t be taking care of him but I will pay for next month’s expenses. Not to mention the fact that there are still two days until the end of this month… you can’t just do this.”
The man studied Feng Sujin up and down before sneering, “You? You can afford next month’s expenses?”
The other man carrying the stretcher also laughed, “I know that you are Miss Feng, the one whom House Lan canceled the arranged marriage with and the one who went to dance in a bar. I hope you don’t think that you’ll be able to afford everything by dancing there, heh!”
Feng Sujin heard their words and felt as if they slapped her on the face, feeling her face burn.
She clenched her fist by her thighs, then loosened them as if she was trying to hide some emotions with all her might.
“Move, don’t block the way here.”
The two who carried the stretched didn’t put Feng Sujin in her eyes, sounding extremely arrogant.
Feng Sujin looked at her father lying on the stretcher palely and all sorts of emotions overwhelmed her.
Seeing that Feng Sujin didn’t make way for them, they exchanged a glance and set the stretcher down on the ground, “Since you said that you are his daughter, then we’ll leave him to you. Carry him back yourself!”
The two men threw the stretcher on the ground and headed back.
Feng Sujin could no longer tolerate it and shouted sternly, “Stop!”
The two male nurses turned around and looked at Feng Sujin in disdain, “Don’t show off here if you don’t have any money, it’s a waste of our time.”
Feng Sujin walked forward quickly and threw a punch at the nurse who just spoke.
With a loud bang, the nurse who was hit in the face fell onto the ground. His nose was aching and started to bleed.
The other nurse finally reacted and fought back furiously.
“How dare you make a move in our hospital!”
“Not only that, I’m going to beat you up until no one can recognize you.”
Feng Sujin used to train but she never fought again after returning to House Feng as she had to act elegantly for her reputation.
However, she could not control her fury and fought with the man in front of her.
Eventually, she faked a move and roundhouse kicked, her feet lifting into the air and striking downwards, making him kneel onto the ground.
Feng Sujin patted the dust off her hands and clenched her fist, “Apologize to me!”
“No way! Someone, anyone? There is someone causing trouble here!”
The person called and people with metal rods rushed out, ready to fight Feng Sujin.
Feng Sujin’s face became pale at the sight of these people and her scalp numbed.
The sanitorium was private and House Feng’s old madam picked this place. They had hired fighters in case someone was there looking for trouble.
Feng Sujin couldn’t back off even though she wanted to now. Even if it’ll take her life, she had to “fight a path filled with blood” out.
She had to tell everyone that she wasn’t someone easy to bully.
She lowered her head and looked at her father who was laying on the stretcher. She couldn’t take him elsewhere at the moment. She could only let the hospital continue to take care of him.
