“Yes, we still are. Would you like to rest in my room? I can go make you steamed eggs while you rest. I know they’re your favorite,”
Yazid suggested. Sara shrugged her shoulders but complied anyway. She didn’t want to interrupt the three of them.
Just before she stepped in the bedroom, she turned and called their attention. “Wait. I think I know how you can find Cassandra.”
The three men fixed their gaze at the young woman.
“But hey, don’t take my word for it. I’m not a hundred percent sure.”
Harry smiled and looked at her expectantly. “I’m sure it’ll still help. We’re stuck in a rut. Just tell us what you’re thinking about.”
The girl slowly nodded. All their conflicting emotions rose back and Sara couldn’t help but feel a little sad. She thought about teasing him for a while longer, but she couldn’t do that to him anymore.
It was her ultimate priority to not upset Harry again. She swore she’d be there for him even if he loved someone else. Sara swallowed her pride and turned to her brother before speaking, “Do you remember the tracker you put on me before?”
Yazid was surprised at the sudden mention of the topic. He didn’t know that she knew about it. “I…uh…yes. Wait, how did you find out about it?”
Sara rolled her eyes at him. “Oh, come on. You’re not as sly as you think you are. I’ve known it for a long while. I just didn’t want you to worry about me. I kept it with me this entire time.”
Before Yazid could retort, Sara immediately continued, “Besides, it was convenient for me. I was able to go out and have fun while you thought I was staying at home all this time!”
Upon hearing that, Yazid was shocked by his sister’s confession.
Sara laughed at the face he made. “I know you kept it in my bracelet. But recently, I noticed that my bracelet was missing.”
Harry thought aloud, “Are you saying that you lost the bracelet in the same place where Charlie locked you in before?”
Sara nodded her head approvingly. “Yes, I think so. Because I’m pretty sure that I was wearing it bef
Falling from nobility, Zen Luo became a humble slave and served as a human punchbag for his former cousins. Inadvertently, he found a way to refine himself into a weapon and a legend started because of that. With a strong belief in never surrender, he strove for revenges and pursued big dreams. Warriors from various clans contended for hegemony and the world was stirred. Relying on the body that was comparable to a powerful weapon, Zen beat his numerous enemies on his way to the immortality. Would he succeed eventually?
stuck in isolation, he could still roughly picture out what was happening in the outside world.
Rufus sighed heavily. He was feeling helpless. ‘It wouldn’t be so easy to escape from here.
Do I have no other choice but to wait for someone to rescue me?’ he wondered.
“How is everything?” Harry asked nervously, taking the seat next to Yazid.
Seeing Harry’s anxious expression made Yazid worry even more, but he tried to focus on locating the bracelet. Suddenly, Yazid screamed, “I got it! I found them!”
Victor hurriedly turned to approach Yazid and looked at him expectantly. “Where are they? I’ll gather a few men and go rescue them!”
Yazid typed and triangulated the signal. After that, he gasped in horror. “Holy shit. It’s so far away. It’s remote and isolated,” he worriedly turned to Harry and exclaimed.
“Even though we found the place, I think you’d better go borrow a few men from your uncle. We should hurry and rescue them while Charlie’s distracted.”
Harry nodded and jotted down the coordinates as quickly as he could. He wasted no time in rushing directly to his uncle’s place to ask for help.
Standing behind Yazid as he instructed Harry, Victor couldn’t help but clear his throat. On second thought, he didn’t disapprove Yazid’s suggestion, since it would be helpful to have more men to help rescue Cassandra and Rufus.
