Caressing his brother’s head, Greyson interrupted softly, “Congratulations to you, Uncle Harry and Aunt Sara!”
Sara passed them two red packets she’d prepared for the boys. “Here you are! Be good today, kids, okay?”
Before he could chat with the little ones, Harry was driven away.
“You are not supposed to see the bride before the wedding. Come on! Get out of here!” said one of Sara’s bridesmaids impatiently, pushing Harry out of the room.
Cassandra happened to spot him while heading towards the bride’s room.
Harry looked at her and smiled, waving at her. “Do you have a moment, Cassandra?”
Rufus glared at Harry upon hearing his words.
Harry sighed and spoke helplessly, “Rufus, why do you still treat me like I’m your love rival? Is that really necessary?”
Rufus responded coldly, “Well, I have to. You are a sophisticated, capable man, after all. And let’s not forget the part where you tried to steal Cassandra from me…so forgive me if I treat you this way.”
Cassandra rolled her eyes at Rufus and complained, “Oh, come on! Don’t be so dramatic.” She then turned to look at Harry. “Tell me, what’s up?”
Rufus was displeased, but he didn’t stop them. The two of them walked away, chatting.
The two of them stood in the balcony, looking down at the guests who were walking inside the venue. Harry sighed, leaning against the parapet. “Well… here we are. I never thought I would marry anyone other than you, you know.”
Cassandra pursed her lips, looking at him with her head tilting. “God! If you talk about that nonsense again, I swear I will kill you.” Cassandra had been deeply shocked when she first found out Harry was in love with her.
But after all that they had been through, and what Harry and Sara had shared over the past two years, she was pretty sure Sara was the one for him.
Jean Wen sacrificed herself for family interests. Before her husband divorced her, she made every effort to please him.
“You are inexperienced in bed,” he said coldly.
“You! Give that land to my family, or I won’t agree to divorce,” Jean replied furiously.
“Fine. It is exactly what I am thinking about,” he sneered.
enjoying the messy show from a distance.
She couldn’t help but grit her teeth, glaring at him furiously. “Yazid! Don’t you dare try to escape! Look what you have done to my kids!”
The guests were thrilled to enjoy the show unfolding! Sara and Harry were almost ready to give their toasts. But soon Sara was escorted back by Harry who claimed that she wasn’t good at drinking.
The two kids who were now asleep after getting drunk, were taken back to the car by their parents.
In the end, everyone focused on Sara and Harry’s toasts. Everyone congratulated them and had dinner.
“Rufus, how much have you given to them as their wedding gift?” Cassandra asked casually.
Well, of course he had given them a great amount of money, considering Harry was his former love rival.
“Nine hundred ninety thousand,” Rufus stated.
He truly wished Sara and Harry would be together forever, so that Harry would never think of stealing Cassandra away from him again.
Cassandra smiled. “Well, nine is a good number.”
They were back in the car at last. Staring at her kids who were in a deep slumber, Cassandra murmured, “It’s so nice to know that all of us are practically living our happy lives ever after.”
