The Extra’s Survival - Chapter 233: Orc Invasion[3]
Lucas’ swing passed through the 3-Star Orc quite easily, splitting it into two halves.
On the other side was a huge six feet man who had black hair wearing the best of chainmail turned back while slashing at the Orc.
“Quick! Let’s get rid of these disgusting pieces of shit and move down quickly.
These assholes are trying to break through the gates.” The man screamed at the top of his lungs as he heard the loud thumping sound of the banging of huge iron gates.
Every soldier who was fighting suddenly became weary on hearing the man’s voice.
A 4-Star Orc tried to take the opening and dashed towards him.
“Stop getting in my way son of bitch!” He shouted and jumped towards him.
His hand tightly clasped the Orc face and raised the huge bulky Orc body with his strength. He slammed it on the ground which was made of stones.
BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!
The Orc groaned in pain and coughed blood. It felt as if his skull had been crushed brutally but this was not the end of it.
The six feet man raised his leg and directly crushed the Orc head with his whole strength.
His name was Xanth who was the captain of the troops and his authority was only below the commander.
Besides being captain, he was the strongest warrior who at the peak of 4-Star
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Following his orders, the soldiers rushed forward towards the group of Orcs.
The clattering noise of metal collision followed explosions one after another echoed throughout the place destroying the top of the walls.
The Orc with their superior strength ganged up on them and swung their huge greatsword and maces at the groups, throwing them into chaos.
Xanth was taking on two Orcs himself while suffering heavy wounds while others seemed to be defending their position.
Although the human forces outnumbered them, the Orcs had strong and resilient bodies that cannot be damaged by normal weapons.
Even Xanth, who seemed to have a high post and was fighting with them, had D-ranking weapons while other weapons’ quality was much worse.
Lucas was only able to tear them up swiftly because of his axe. Though his armor was a 5-Star armor, the axe was of B rank, and combined with the runes it can rival an A rank weapon.
The Orcs who were throwing attacks were suddenly hit with a bolt of lightning.
Xanth, who was worn out, tried to hold out with the hope that others would finish quickly and help.
BANG!
He was hit by the giant mace and was forced a few steps back coughing blood.
The mace-equipped man dashed towards him but in the midway, he was hit by the axe with a lightning bolt and flew back like a rag doll colliding with the walls.
The Other Orc with the great sword stared back and without any hesitation fought with Xanth.
Lucas landed near them and shouted, “I will take on this one and you focus on that.”
Xanth, though surprised by this man’s sudden entry, accepted his suggestion nonchalantly.
Lucas tired at the wall where soon the dust dissipated and settled down.
As soon as the dust disappeared, he saw the Orc getting back on its feet while the axe remained stuck on its chest.
“Shit!! It didn’t die.”
Though it would be weird if it died this easily, it still didn’t stop hoping for his fall.
Holding the handle, the Orc with bloodshot eyes pulled out the axe from its chest.
Blood splattered and gushed out from the long cut on its chest.
Swinging the axe, it roared violently.
“Roarrrrr!”
It took the axe and jumped toward Lucas with the axe and swung at him.
Alex jumped back dodging the blow but the Orc immediately retracted it back and swung it horizontally and jumped while rotating his body in the horizontal direction while the Orc who swung the axe with one hand swept his other hand, hitting Lucas.
“Kaaya!”
Lucas was sent flying and he rolled to the ground.
Blood trickled down from the lips and fell from the helmet.
Lucas stared at the Orc charging at him and shouted “Give me back my weapon.”
The ground rumbled as the Orc’s huge footstep fell on it.
Lucas used flash steps to increase his speed and tilted his body to let the axe through and immediately punched the orc in its gut.
BANG!
The Orc, even though was not hurt, was forced to step back and Lucas instantly took the charge while slamming his fist on his jaw.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Within an instant, Lucas slammed his fist covered by a gauntlet all over his body.
The Orc growled fiercely while trying to contain the pain and damage, and swung the axe again.
Lucas instead of retreating slid downwards while running towards him.
Passing in between his legs, Lucas got up on his feet and jumped on its back to hitting his head while intertwining both of his fists.
It let out a painful groan and its bald head turned blue-black due to the hit and its grip loosened on the axe while it felt dizziness washing away his consciousness.
Lucas took the chance and, taking out his dagger, slashed at the neck and slit its throat neatly like a trained assassin.
“Haaaaaaa!” Lucas pulls the axe into his palm and slurps it down on the ground for a moment.
He looked around to see the battle still going on.
He had been fighting nonstop and using telekinesis to fly here and there, which surely drained him.
He didn’t even have a moment of rest since he had stepped out of his house.
He never felt as exhausted as this. Even though he used to fight all around in the dungeon there was an occasional break.
“I have become too reliant on potion recently.” Lucas smiled bitterly.
“It was a good place for self-realization.” Lucas smiled while trying to get up on his feet.
