The Fallen Angel Himari - Chapter 2 Hello World

“…A cosplayer?” The crowd was confused how Vivian managed to appear out of nowhere. And why she was dressed like the girl in the dating sim commercial. “Or maybe the character was modeled after her.” Someone shook their head next to the person that said that. “That still doesn’t explain where she came from though…” Ignoring the crowd Vivian walked off.

‘Right now I need to make a list of objectives. I guess the first thing I should do is go and get an ID.’ And so she just walked off leaving everybody in a daze. After that, she went down to the registration office as fast as she could. When she finally arrived there she was kinda confused about what to do. “Hmmm…” ‘What would I put down for this on?’ She was already stuck at ‘age’. “Should I put my real age down?” Confused if it would count, Vivian put down ‘8,000’ and moved on. “So much trouble just for an ID.” Although she was hesitant she still turned the form in any way. When the registration officer saw this her face paled immediately when she saw how old Vivian was. “Uhmm excuse me, miss…”

“Yes, ~?” Vivian replied without hesitation. “I’m sorry if this inconveniences you in any way but I’ll need you to come with me.” “What?!? What did I do wrong…” Vivian sulked while getting dragged away by security. 2 hours later Vivian pondered on what she might have done wrong while waiting in the interrogation room. Finally, she heard the door open. “Jeez there you are any longer and I might have died from boredom.” The officer that just came in was already annoyed by Vivian. “Grr…WOULD YOU PUT THAT DAMN DESK DOWN!!!” She barked at Vivian. When she first came in the room Vivian made herself comfortable by sitting on the desk but of course to make it comfier everything was floating in mid-air. Vivian stuck her tongue at her before putting everything back. Vivian followed behind the officer who for some reason sped every time Vivian caught up. Finally, they reached the chief’s office. “You stay out here okay?”

“Okay!” Vivian replied happily. Then she opened the office door. “Hello~-” Unfortunately she was cut off by “PA!” Sound as a file was thrown at her face. Vivian who had witnessed all of this tried her best not to laugh. “WELL FINE THEN SO MUCH FOR BEING FRIENDLY!!!!!” Vivian could tell that whoever was behind that door probably doesn’t like her. After cooling down a bit her officer turned towards Vivian and politely smiled and gave Vivian her file. “Here you go you’re free to go now your ID, your personal info and all of that should be in here” Vivian looked at the file name “Himari Ichika”. “And you’ll have to attend classes for those that are gifted like you. Don’t worry though it’s just so that later you can conceal your ‘abilities’. Well on that note I gotta go but don’t hesitate to find me in the future. Bye~”

“Wait!” Himari suddenly blurted out. The poor female officer just wanted to get back to work but the stupid girl just kept talking. She reluctantly turned around and tried to plaster a fake smile on her face, “Huh? What is it?”

Himari started blushing and fidgeting nervously, “Uhmmm…you see…the thing is…” A wild thought suddenly struck the officer. ‘Is she planning on confessing to me? What the hell?’ Intrigued she stayed behind. “Uhmm…-Well…! Senpai! I NEVER REALLY LIKED YOU!!!!! IN FACT, I THINK YOU’RE A B*TCH!!!!”

“….” ‘What the hell am I supposed to say to that? This little brat….’ It seemed everybody in 5-mile radius heard what Himari just said and was now looking over. Not giving her any time to process her thoughts Himari ran off. While she left she pulled a face and stuck her tongue out. After that little ‘incident’ Himari ran away as fast as she could away from the police station as fast as she could.

‘Haa…Haa..hahaha” Himari sighed to herself ‘Who knew being in the human world was so fun? Although I’ve done this only once before my freedom didn’t last long. I remember they threatened my friends and kept pressuring me to come back… in the end, I involuntarily went back and instantly received ‘punishment’.’ Himari shuddered thinking about it.

”Hey little girl~” Himari turned around to find some drunk rich playboy calling for her. ‘Oh great a stereotypical bad guy. And in an alleyway how convenient. Here we go…’ Himari sighed to herself and turned to face him. ”Yes?~”

”Hey you look pretty cute how about I give you-” POW! Himari’s fist suddenly slammed into the poor drunken bastard.

”Ehehe no thanks but I will need your body for a bit~” Himari called out in the sweetest tone. (Authors note: what she meant by that she was going to take his energy (they need to do this as a way to adjust in the change of atmosphere) by taking his blood, of course, there are other ways but she prefers this way as it’s simple and the least disgusting method for her. Unfortunately, she needs to do this at least daily like how you have to charge your phone daily. It doesn’t hurt anyone but it is hard to find anyone who would do this willingly.)

CHOMP! When Himari felt satisfied with the amount she got she took advantage of the fact that he was unconscious and of course pickpocketed him. As she expected earlier he was practically swimming in money. ”Now that’s done I guess I should go get a phone.” Luckily money really wasn’t a problem for this guy so after she got a phone she managed to buy a house. (Yes a WHOLE house.) it was a nice 2 story with a big kitchen, living room, and dining room and even the rooms on the second floor facing the front had a nice balcony.

But the thing Himari loved the most was the bathroom. It was big and luxurious so Himari could really have some room to stretch out. In fact, that was also the reason she choose this house and plus it was near the school she was supposed to attend soon. With a sigh, Himari plopped down on the floor because she didn’t have any furniture to move in. ‘So… This is my new life huh? Don’t worry Shinji I’ll look for you and I won’t leave any stone unturned..’ Himari’s eyes had a flash of confidence and hope for the future ‘Yeah! I’ll definitely find you so just wait for me!’
