The Fallen Angel Himari - Chapter 24 The Great Demon King Even Bows To Me.

Vivian looked out the window but quickly got bored so she started coloring. When she finished she turned to Haru and handed it to him. ‘We’re not in hell. Demon realm. Don’t say anything weird or out of the ordinary. Stay by me and don’t offend anyone. You may never know what’s going on behind-the-scenes.’. He nodded and showed Kiroko, Serina, and Aria. They understood the point Vivian was getting to.

When they finally arrived at the mansion (More of a damn castle) they were stunned at the size. Except Vivian. It was 10x bigger than the villa they saw in Takemi’s world. The butler started bringing their things inside while they exited. When Vivian stepped out a big boulder plowed into her wrapping her in a bear hug.

The rest were shocked at Lucifer’s shameless behavior. “Vivian! It’s been too long!” She blinked and then finally hugged back, “Too long I suppose. Good to see you Luci.” Although this seemed innocent fireworks started popping off in his head. He stared at her astonished and tightened his grip around her.

In the past if he were to act this way she would’ve burnt him to a crisp, but it seemed that she was in a good mood today so he wasn’t gonna waste the opportunity. He circled her excitedly and kept talking excitedly as if he were a puppy wanting attention. She didn’t snap at him but she would tell him if he was being annoying subtly, after all he didn’t have to help her.

He finally noticed the others after he saw the butler taking their stuff in. He inspected them as if they were gonna attack him at any moment but finally stopped when he heard Vivian clear her throat. “Don’t scare my friends. Their very dear to me and they make me happy, so please don’t let anything happen to them.” Seeing how sincere she was he nodded obediently. Even if she didn’t say that he still would’ve since he was the host.

Lucifer’s wife, Lilith came out of her room and saw him. She smiled happily and walked up to him, “Ah Lucifer what’s all this no-” Her face immediately twisted after she saw Vivian. She was always the biggest thorn in her side and she was glad when she left and didn’t return. But now seeing her emotionless face again her facade was almost broken through. Her blood boiled and she restrained herself from going up and tearing her to shreds.

She finally understood why Lucifer was so happy over the last couple of days. He was waiting for her! She suddenly thought of the past. She seduced some of Lucifer’s trusted servants and ordered them to bully Vivian. Unexpectedly for Lilith Vivian murdered them heartlessly and Lucifer didn’t even question her, instead he comforted her. She gritted her teeth and wanted to be pampered like that but she had to take things slowly. She knew Vivian wasn’t a force to be reckoned with so she started talking, “Oh? Vivian you’re back! I wish I was told earlier then I would’ve put makeup on!” Lilith belittled her for not alerting anyone of her sudden arrival.

Lilith then saw Haru and figured he was her boyfriend. She secretly smirked. She was going to steal him from her so she would know how it feels. And she wasn’t even gonna use her power to show her how easy it is. Vivian could read her thoughts easily but she didn’t say anything instead she went to Lucifer and clung onto his sleeve. “Luci~ Why didn’t you tell Miss. Lilith I was coming? I made sure to ask a couple of days ago so there wouldn’t be any issues.”

Lucifer felt his heart being torn to pieces when she pouted and said in a pitiful tone. He bowed down to her and apologized several times. This development shocked everybody to the core including Lilith. Vivian was just showing off so she forgave him and he was already back to being hyper.

“I know! I’ll give you guys a tour around! Then we’ll eat and finally get down to business!” he bounced around like a excited puppy and everyone agreed. Lilith was about to go with them but Vivian turned around sharply and stopped her, “Leave. Don’t you have makeup to put on? If you really care about your image that much then go fix it. Besides he’s showing the guests around not you. You’ve been here before so you should know full well what the insides of this house looks like” Lilith got mad but couldn’t do anything so she angrily stormed off. Nobody really cared so they started the tour.

Vivian studied her surroundings but found nothing out of the ordinary. She saw two waitresses heading down the opposite hallway but they were kinda pain for her tastes. The first one had long purple hair with a big red bow in the back and the second one had blonde hair with pigtails. (I love references.) She looked at Kiroko who was being more quiet than usual and found she was studying one of the maids.

Vivian looked at her. She was slightly bigger than Kiroko but she seemed like a silent type. “Do you want her?” Kiroko looked at Vivian and nodded fiercely.

Vivian summoned the maid over and Vivian noticed she was clutching something. She looked closer and saw it was a drawing board.

“Can you speak?” She lightly shook her head making her two dark twin drills shake, “Tell me your name then.” The maid pulled a marker off the drawing board and started writing, ‘Chizue’.

Vivian then proposed her offer to keep her with Kiroko as a maid. Chizue was conflicted at the offer even though it was a good one. She looked towards Lucifer for help and he held a smile on his face as he nodded. ‘Truly anything for me.’ Vivian sighed deep down.

And so, Chizue finally agreed and Kiroko was ecstatic even though it didn’t show on her one emotion only face.

Meanwhile, Kira was pissed at the total lack of presence in her house. Not even the house next door was lively anymore. pissed off she grabbed her phone and dialed the same number again. Haru Hinata’s. This time though the phone didn’t disconnect.

“Hello Haru-?”

“Who’s this? Do I need to leave a message?” Vivian rubbed her eyes. Instead of going back to her room for the night she was guarding her Master’s as he went to explore more. She was told to wait inside and not to let anyone but him in so she waited patiently for him to come back.

Kira was surprised to hear a little girl’s voice but it wasn’t cute or kid-like at all. It held no innocence and that scared her deep down.

“Uhmm… Excuse me if I ask but who’s this?” Her hand gripped the phone tightly. ‘What the hell is Haru getting into?’

“I’m his servant, Vivian no-last-name-given. It’s been too long since I used the thing so I forgot it.” She yawned, ‘How long is this gonna take?’

She heard the door click and she sat up. “Oh! Here he is! You can talk to him now.” She got up after the door opened and Haru happily came back in. She handed him the phone and he looked down at her confused. He looked at the caller ID and saw Kira’s name and nodded.

She sat back down waiting on what he would need from her next when unexpectedly the good calm mood in the room was ruined. Kira was not really quiet about her scolding Haru for taking a innocent young child in and making her his servant.

She also piled on the fact that he vanished for a couple of weeks, missing school, and the time he brought home a ‘girl’ that one time.

The phone wasn’t even on loudspeaker but Vivian could still hear it across the room. She sat still even though all the reasons Kira listed were 100% because of her.

Haru sighed and had to listen to her ramble on before he could explain the whole story to Kira. She wasn’t pleased at all even though he begged for mercy a multitude of times. She was even more mad when she found out where they were.

And so, to end the story she was coming tomorrow night after packing her things in the morning. Vivian had to tell Lucifer about the unexpected guest but he didn’t mind since it was Vivian.

When they wrapped up by telling the others Vivian got a call from Eva.

“Good morning or night or whatever it might be there Himari!”

“Vivian.” She was blunt as she didn’t want to waste what could be valuable time.

“Oh! I’m sorry!” Eva got easily flustered since she was always a shy person so she gathered all her confidence to pull through with the conversation. “Uhmm…Well…I think I needed to tell you that Takemi finally woke up and is doing well. If you want to bring him out there it’s fine, but he can’t be worn out. And if we need to stay I will oversee his recovery until you get back.”

Vivian was surprised that Eva could say all that without fidgeting but she quickly declined taking him as there were too many people and he still needed to recover and train himself. After her call with Eva she went to relay it all to Haru and actually took a 180 to how she thought her night was gonna end.

Haru was asleep when she went to get him so after opening the door she closed it and tried to wake him up.

His eyebrow twitched in frustration and he muttered, “Sleep with me.” And other things Vivian couldn’t comprehend. She could not disobey him so she climbed into his bed and was used as a sleeping pillow the whole night. Surprisingly she was not disgusted by him at all and eventually fell asleep in his hold.
