The Fallen Angel Himari - Chapter 31 Number Hunting
In a classroom not too far away, Haru had felt a sharp pain deep inside him and felt the need to go in a certain direction. He fought against the feeling before giving up and ran to where he felt he needed to be even though he didn’t understand it himself.
When he got there though it was like something out of a GL comic. He gawked at the sight of Aya’s tiny body trying to rub against a big, helpless, Himari, “Ah! Master you’re finally here! This is Aya and she’s my stalker! She can also transform into any type of guns I need so, she’s gonna be our new partner.” He stared at her and wondered how she pulled it off. It seemed without even doing anything she would suddenly make new friends.
Aya looked in Haru’s direction with pure unfiltered hatred. “Hmph! You’re not worthy of Himari!” Haru knew what this was probably going to turn out like so he stared at Himari, shook his head, and turned around. ‘Don’t leave me master! She’s crazy! Wuuu…..’
…..
After school had ended Himari was eating some pocky lazily in Haru’s room. He looked visibly frustrated by her so he spoke up, “No more friends okay?”
Himari grinned mischievously and turned around her back to him, “Kay!” Himari kicked her feet but then suddenly paused. “Hey, Master?” Haru turned to face her but was shocked to find her emotionless for the first time ever. “Did you know that I, Himari Ichika, am actually a NPC? Thanks to Vivian I’m not a program trying to replicate a dating sim character. Instead no matter where you go online my character will no longer be accessible. Sucks to have ordered the game just to date me. And I was the face on all of the covers too. Tsk tsk tsk.”
Haru started laughing and confused Himari, “Now I know why you and Vivian are polar opposites! And now I have the main character of *****(1) in my room and nobody else can even access her!” Haru sounded so triumphant and that confused Himari even further.
Himari crawled up to him while he sat on his futon looking as if he ruled the world. He noticed her coming up and subconsciously looked down. Himari had been wearing a revealing shirt so he couldn’t help but stare.
She stopped before him and smiled, “Do you really not mind?” Haru blinked but quickly started messing with her hair, “Of course not! It really doesn’t matter to me because I just enjoy your presence.” Her smile widened and her tail wagged. She pounced onto him and rubbed onto him, her excitement apparent. Himari had gotten used to doing it to everyone when she got excited so she forgot who she was dealing with.
But for Haru this was the best day of his life. Well almost, the actual best day of his life was back in chapter 12. Himari finally stopped wiggling around and sat on top of him. She grinned and then leaned down to bite him.
Haru had already gotten used to the pain because she always bit him in the same place. Kira went into Haru’s room to set down some clean clothes when she saw Himari on top of Haru biting his neck like a little vampire. She inwardly sighed and set down all of Haru’s clothes down before leaving the room.
Himari finally got off of him and looked more energized than earlier. Haru had sat up when Himari had remembered something. “Oh yeah make sure to give me the date of the festive! I might join you halfway so I wanna be prepared!”
Haru wiped the blood off of his nose and easily agreed, “Sure I’ll text you it later.” Himari waved him goodbye and then left.
….
The next day Himari cooked breakfast early and left a note for her siblings to wake up Haru before they went to school because she was going to leave early. The only reason she left was so she could see Kiroko and Eva.
She asked around and finally got Kiroko’s room number. She knocked on the door and waited for Kiroko to answer. When she did she still looked emotionless as always but it was lighter than before. But when she saw it was Himari her mood instantly soured.
Himari didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at her stubbornness. “Come in.” Kiroko walked back in and the apartment looked as much as Himari figured, pretty uniform and nothing out of place.
Himari spoke up to ease the silence, “We should trade numbers! I had to ask so many people just for your room number.” She felt Kiroko’s eyes sharpen and she finally said something, “Fine. But you didn’t have my number for a reason.” Himari felt a arrow shoot through her heart and felt like crying, ‘This is abuse wuu….’
Himari checked on Chizue but she still couldn’t talk to her. ‘Do you work for Mikazuki?’ Himari shook her head, “No I hate her.” Chizue grabbed her white board and started writing again, ‘Total bitch.’ Himari agreed on that one too.
“She really is, humph!” Himari got along easily with Chizue because it was like talking to herself. Finally Kiroko cane in and interrupted the two. “What did you come here for Himari? Himari grinned and stood up, “I want you to come to a festival with me. It’s gonna be at a shrine nearby and I think it would be fun if you and Chizue come with me.”
Kiroko looked down contemplating but when she thought about Chizue in a kimono her emotionless face cracked. What resembled as smile on her face started spreading but to Himari it looked devilish.
She shivered with fear but as soon as her smile came it left. “I’ll think about it Himari. But I have to get ready for school…”
Himari understood the words left unsaid so she waved at her dismissively, “Yeah yeah I’ll see myself out. Bye Kiroko! Bye Chizue!” Kiroko waved half heartedly and Chizue wrote down on her board, ‘Bye bye.’
Himari headed to Eva’s apartment, rang her doorbell , and waited for her. When the door opened Himari hugged the figure thinking it was Eva. But instead it was poor Takemi at the door. Not that he minded. When she realized her mistake she just simply replied, “Oh hello Takemi. Good morning.” She hopped off and immediately questioned, “So did you awaken your abilities yet? Or are you still subconsciously deciding? Also if you feel weak after a couple hundred of years than that’s normal. I would just have to renew out blood contract and remember what I said about only being able to specialise in one ability,” Himari kept rambling her worries to Takemi and he took note. “Himari.” He called her suddenly making her lose her train of thought. She smiled at him gently and continued, “How are you Takemi?”
Takemi hugged her tightly and whispered, “Thank you Himari. Without you I would’ve been dead. Heh.” His lips curved into a smile and Himari hugged him back. When she finally broke from his embrace Himari had a big smile on her face like always, “Hey Takemi! Come to a festival with me! It’s almost gonna be a new year too so I thought…” She fidgeted and then Takemi patted her head.
“I’ll be there.”
“Give me your phone number. Oh and Eva’s too. I want her to come as well.” Takemi fulfilled her every demand and she left to go to her class. Inside she saw Aria and Serina so she got their numbers as well. ‘Three people left!’
When classes ended. Himari ran in front of a camera and pointed to it, “Hey! Come out! I know you’re there!” Himari jumped when she heard a classroom door slam open. Aya threw herself at Himari again and made her fall. Again. “Aya I need you phone number.” Aya sat up and complied but she blushed and asked Himari, “Then can we go on a date?” The corner of Himari’s mouth twitched and she picked Aya up, stood up, set Aya to the side, and booked it.
….
After running from Aya the whole day Himari went to Haru’s house uninvited to ask for his phone number. When she got to his room she knocked but before her hand even had set on the door it opened up and Haru stepped out.
After grabbing his and Kira’s number she left to go home. Rei ran down the stairs when she heard Himari was back. “Himari!” She jumped down and wrapped her arms around Himari. Himari hugged back glad to be home.
