The Fallen Angel Himari - Chapter 7 My Cute Little Sister Rei
“Haru-” A girl with breasts slightly smaller (such important info) than Himari and a ponytail on her left side with blue hair fading into red at the ends froze at the sight of Haru (with a few buttons missing) being pinned down by Himari.
‘Shit shit shit shit shit! Why’d it have to be Kira?!?!’ Kira was Haru’s childhood friend but sometimes she scared him with her fierceness. Haru was mad he was put in this uncomfortable position but Himari was madder that someone interrupted her ‘meal’.
“Ara Ara Master who’s this?~” Himari said in her most seductive voice as revenge against Kira. Haru, on the other hand, was pissed that she was making the situation worse adding oil onto the fire. ‘…One day I’ll kill you for this Himari.’
“Ohoho I see how it is… The moment I leave the house you bring over some hooker…” That didn’t sit right with Himari and so, “Hooker?!” She stood up almost ready to charge at Kira “I am 8,000 years old and yet I’m being compared to a useless hooker?!?!? Have some respect for your elders’ bitch!” Kira wasn’t ready to back down either though. “I didn’t know elders could be so shameless throwing themselves onto teenagers!”
“Alright, that’s it! Bubble shield!” (It’s more like an arena than a shield it protects everything and nothing can penetrate it.) And that settled it. Kira looked evil as spikey thorns came out of her back forming into a sword only at the handle did the thorns stop.
“Hahaha, weak! Angel’s light!” Suddenly a light wrapped around Himari forming into a sword and a dress but honestly that wasn’t all she was wearing a lot of gold and white, gold earrings, a white veil outlined with gold, and a coat white with gold splattered on it which matched her white sandals with splattered as well her sword, she was wearing white gloves outlined with gold, her hair turned blonde and it reached her ankles, and her eyes turned a softer shade of blue. But one thing that really stood out was her sleeveless dress. it started at white and blended down to yellow, orange, and pink. To Haru even though he knew he had to break up the fight he couldn’t help but scan Himari up and down, ‘Her dress looks like if snow met spring. It’s so pretty, but is it my imagination or is she glowing? Her temperament somehow seems different compared to today too…’ Haru suddenly snapped back into reality and Kira was already swinging her sword at Himari recklessly as if forgetting they were still in the house. Himari was already disappointed in Kira. With one strike Himari broke Kira’s sword. Or at least cracked it as she was stopped by Haru.
“S-Stop! Let’s just leave it here!” As soon as those words left his mouth a light surrounded Himari and quickly disappeared turning Himari back to normal.
“Yes Master,” Himari said these words so easily as if she was talking about the weather.
“… Who the hell is your master are you referring to me?!”
“Yes, Master. I’m your servant now so I have to refer to you like this it also helps people know we are in a contract-”
“I’M GOING TO MY ROOM DON’T MISS ME!” Suddenly Haru and Himari remembered Kira existed.
“Uhm… You should go comfort her I gotta get going now! Bye~” Himari ran away before she could take responsibility leaving Haru dazed as what just happened.
Himari woke up, took a shower, got dressed, and went downstairs for breakfast. She didn’t have school because Kodomo was too lazy. Himari frowned as she looked out the window it was raining and the sky looked ugly and gloomy. “I’m out of snacks… Hmm…” Himari contemplated if she should go out but then realized she had an umbrella with sparkles on it. It was easily her favorite. So she really wanted to go outside now. “Hmm~hmm~hummm~hummm~” Himari was skipping happily as she got to take her favorite umbrella out and hummed loudly. She only stopped when she heard the dirty remarks of the people around her. But it wasn’t about her.
“Ah- That child looks so sick should we help?” A middle-aged man held her back by her shoulder. “No, we shouldn’t help monsters like that.”
Himari turned her head to see a child sleeping in the cold rain at an alleyway. She looked as if she just got out of a fight, to be honest. Her light purple hair was tied up messily in a bun and her clothes were all scuffled and all out of place. But the thing that concerned her the most was the scratches more really like claw marks and bruises all around the poor sweet thing. As soon as Himari saw her she froze with a horrified expression on her face.
‘Just like me….’
The girl slowly opened her eyes as she felt the rain stop pouring on her all of a sudden. She turned to look at Himari who looked so sweet and caring, holding an umbrella above her. It seemed at that moment the world stopped turning. Everything was still. It seemed as everything was okay now. She felt much lighter as if looking at her was taking a heavy weight off her shoulders. But she tried to reject it. In the past, everyone hurt her with a fake ‘kind’ expression on their face. ‘She’s just the same…’ That’s what she kept saying to herself but she still felt she was wrong.
Himari watched as her little mind was running through her thoughts. She didn’t complain or say anything. Himari smiled and finally said “Are you hungry? I’ll give you somewhere to stay.” She didn’t hear the rest the only thing on her mind was how hungry she was but she didn’t want to do anything like trading her body. “N-No I don’t want to..” Himari realized what she was thinking and her expression softened. “Don’t worry at one point in my life I was just like you. I won’t force you into anything you don’t want to do.” The girl paused before continuing “My name’s Rei…. please don’t leave me…” The poor thing looked heartbroken at the thought of Himari leaving her all alone. Himari smiled and picked her up. “Does anything feel broken Rei? If you have any pains please call form me immediately.” Rei was confused ‘What is she talking about? I’m hurting all over… but in her arms, I feel the warmth coming off her… Maybe this isn’t so bad…’ And like that Rei fell asleep while Himari held her.
When Rei woke backup she was in a nice smelling house and she was finally wearing nice clothes. When she looked to her side Himari was cleaning one of her wounds. She looked up at her and smiled faintly before speaking up “For this next part don’t move okay? Heal.” Rei stiffened expecting pain but surprisingly there wasn’t any. When she looked down Himari was scanning her hand against Rei’s arm after her hands would pass a part that used to have scars it would look normal as if nothing happened. When Rei saw this she was amazed. All her old marks went away just like that. “Hey Rei stay here I’ll go make you dinner.”
“Wait! Don’t leave me all alone! I don’t want to be left alone again!” Seeing Rei’s outburst Himari didn’t get mad. Instead, she pat her head and comforted her, “It’s okay I would never leave you. After all, I’m paying for this house ya know and I personally took care of you making sure that you were okay, so why would I leave you?” Himari leaned down and kissed her forehead “Just stay here and I’ll be back.” Then suddenly Himari ran away startling Rei but she quickly came back with a stuffed bear.
“Here! Now you won’t be lonely! Now please rest so that in a couple of days we can go out together!” Rei nodded and went to sleep.
“My cute little sister Rei I will help you get revenge on those who have wronged you…” Himari closed the door behind herself leaving the light on just in case she was afraid of the dark like Himari had been a long time ago.
