The next day, Yi Ling woke up feeling refreshed. She tried to get up and noticed that someone was actually holding her. She was laying in King Jin’s embrace.

“Morning wifey. How are you feeling?” King Jin rubbed her pinkish cheek. Earlier, she was still a bit pale. Luckily, her injuries weren’t that bad.

“Morning.” Yi Ling got up from King Jin’s arms. She almost fell but luckily, King Jin had caught her just in time.

“Take it easy.” He said.

“En. What happened?” Yi Ling couldn’t recall what happened after fighting with the Snow King Leopard.

“It’s alright. You just fainted from exhaustion and your injuries. I’ve already remedied your injuries and changed your robes.” King Jin smiled devilishly at his wife. Why does she look so good? He thought.

Yi Ling’s eyes stared widely at him. “What did you say?!” She then glanced down to her clothes. It was indeed different.

King Jin was puzzled at her reaction. “I said you fainted from exhaustion and your injuries.”

“No, after that!”

“Uhh… I’ve helped you fix your injuries?” King Jin tilted his head in confusion. His wife was turning redder at the moment. Seems like his medicine was working well. He had fed her some pills that he had made himself, to regulate her blood circulation back.

“No! Not that!” Yi Ling pulled his sleeves. “You said, you’ve changed my clothes?!”

Realizing the reason why she was getting excited, King Jin smirked. “What’s wrong with that? You’re my wife and it’s perfectly normal. We already have a child together. It’s not like I haven’t seen your body before.”

“But that was a different body! And a different memory! I don’t even recall making that son of ours!” Yi Ling yelled. She was totally embarrassed!

Hearing her remarks, King Jin’s eyes turned darker. He then lifted her chin up and stared into her eyes. “Why wifey? Do you want this King to help you recall what happened? Although this King doesn’t recall it himself, This King bets that this King could still make you satisfied.” His mouth curled up as he hinted what he wanted to do.

Yi Ling’s eyes turned wider and her face became redder. “Shameless!!!” She then stumped at his foot! She had exerted all her strength. For she knew that she could not hurt this man in any way. He was too powerful for her.

Seeing that he didn’t even wince and his smile turned wider instead. She harrumphed and left the cave. That shameless man! Tsk. She could hear him laughing as she walked out.

“Wait for me dear wife!” King Jin laughed as he tried to catch up with her.

Outside, Yi Ling had instantly forgotten King Jin’s mischievousness once she had seen the situation of the Snow King Leopard. His breathing was harder and there was blood everywhere. By the looks of things, it seems to be running out of blood. It was hanging its life by a thread.

Yi Ling instantly glared at King Jin as he got out of the cave. “Why didn’t you help him?!”

“Why should I? He hurt my wife!” He then disdainfully glared at the Snow King Leopard.

“Damn it!” Yi Ling then waved her sleeves and a bunch of concoctions and needles came out. She instantly went into the mode of a doctor. First things first, she needed to stop the bleeding. Although the wounds weren’t deep, he had cuts all over his body. Being left in the cold, it didn’t help with making the bleed stop. Some did but not the bigger cuts.

Yi Ling inserted needles on the Snow King Leopard’s pressure points as she tried to keep his life. After an hour or so, the Snow King Leopard had gained consciousness. He had noticed the same girl that he was battling yesterday. Why was she helping him? He thought. He then fainted after that. It wasn’t after half an hour after that, that she was able to move him inside the cave. Of course, with King Jin’s begrudgingly help.

While waiting for the Snow King Leopard to wake up, Yi Ling decided to take all the Icy Frost Grass and have it transplanted in her Medical Garden inside the Ring. With the help of Muxin and King Jin, they were able to make a certain field that had the same conditions as the Lenghong Mountain. This is to ensure the life of the Icy Frost Grass.

In the meantime, King Jin also haunted the surrounding area for Yi Ling. He didn’t like staying inside the Ring much and so he kept a good watch on her body and also checked outside to see if there are nearby enemies.

It wasn’t until the next day that the Snow King Leopard had finally awaken. The first thing he had seen was Yi Ling’s large eyes, staring close to his face.

“You!!!” The Snow King Leopard was shocked and accidentally spoke.

“Oh hey! You can talk! Great! That would make things easier for me then. Let’s make a contract and you can become my mount!” Yi Ling was smiling at the Snow King Leopard like a kid to a candy. It made the Snow King Leopard unhesitantly backed up a couple of steps.

“Who are you wanting to become a mount?! How arrogant! Roarr!!” He bellowed so loud that it made the made-shift cave shake.

“You don’t want to?” Yi Ling stared at it in disbelief.

“Hell! Kid, you’re underestimating yourself! I could easily crush you If I wanted to!”

“Crush me? You fainted first before me! Why? you wanna battle with me again?” Yi Ling eyed the Snow King Leopard. This beast was so funny.

Recalling just what happened before he had fainted, the Snow King Leopard felt embarrassed. He had lived for more than 50 years! He was the King in Lenghong Mountain! The fact that he was not even a match to this young girl in front of him, who wasn’t even a Sainthood Cultivator! Oh, what a shame! Luckily, he had furs and wouldn’t blush.
