It’s been half a year since I come to this World. I’m already used to this World. Well most of it because help of The System of course. A few days before the Instructor told us that the exam will begin in a week. But before that we must gather in Training Ground for a reason. That’s why I walks towards the training ground now.

“Grid, what do you think ? Why Instructor want gather us in the training ground again ? Is something happen like before ?” (Rudeus)

“Hmm.. I don’t think something like before happen. But maybe it have something to do with the exam” (Grid)

“I just hope nothing serious happen like before.” (Rudeus)

Inside the training ground all the first year student is already gather. Seems like everyone is kinda tense to hear what gonna happen. Even though no one knows yet.

The Instructor come and stand in high ground so everyone can see him

“Ahem.. quite down please.” all the student is become quite

“Now I will told all of you why we called you here. But first let me introduce all your overseer.” the instructor then pointed at the people beside them

All the first year student look at them. All of them is young man and lady. not even older than us by much.

“All of them in here is a third year student. They will be the one who will overseer you exam.” said the instructor

“Wha.. how can the overseer is a third year student ?” many of the first year begin talking each other.

“Quite down everyone.” said the instructor

“All them in here is already level 9 Warrior. The Academy called them back to make sure this exam will continue smoothly.” said the instructor

When all of us heard it, many of us have a jaw dropped and shock. Then all the all the first year student become relentless. Even me is shock to heard it.

“Shut Down. Now I will told all of you about the exam” said the instructor

After the instructor said it the third year student divide into two teams.

“Now you see, there will be two choice you can choose. It’s Low and High”

“If you choose low go to my right side. And if you choose high go to the left.”

“Now I will told everyone about the choice. For Low, the student will get their exam like a normal. You will be choose a mission and you must complete it to succeed. Your grade will depends on the mission you take. You will get a point or not if the overseer judge that your exam is worthy or not.”

“For a High, it will be the same but there’s the different. If you choose High one that means you will complete a high risk mission that the Academy will assign to you. It have a death risk. The overseer will judge your performance too. For High Exam you can complete with a party, maximal 5 people. If you complete the High exam. You won’t need to join Final exam, you will become second year immediately. Not only that, you will receive the rewards too if you complete the mission, including merit point, potion and other resources you need. I you fail the mission, you still can try a Low one.”

“Alright that’s everything. You have 3 days to choose.” said the Instructor loudly

After that all the first year begin busy. Some of them look at each other and don’t know what to do. And some of them is begin to panic. This is really a hard choice.

“Grid, how is it ? Which one you take ?” (Rudeus)

“Hmm.. I don’t know yet. What about you Rudeus ?” (Grid)

“I think I already decide Grid. I will take the High one. This is an opportunity to become strong. You should know that, it’s already become so hard to improve. So I will take this chances.” (Rudeus)

“Hmm.. you’re right. Well let’s do it then. How about it ?” (Grid)

“Really ? You sure you want to join me ? I believe there are so many strong student wants you in their team Grid” (Rudeus)

“Yeah I know. But unless you don’t want me to join you, it’s better for me to join you. After all we’ve known each other fighting style” (Grid)

“Of course I want you to join me. How can I let someone known as a best scout to not join the party ? Hahaha” (Rudeus)

“Well, we still need three other members though” (Rudeus)

“Let’s go to him then” (Grid)

The one we are talking about is of course Darvan. We found him and we ask him if he want to join us and he agreed immediately

I said to Grid “Grid, I think it’s better if you are the one who search our party member. After all you will be the one who make the strategy for our party”

“Hmm.. Ok then Rudeus. I will called you immediately if something happen.” (Grid)

After that I walk toward to Student Care Area. I want check and restock my supply. This is a High risk mission so I can’t be careless.

It’s so hard to become stronger than this. After so many days I accept a mission, my improvement is not much. The system change a bit after I get a movement battle skill with my merit point. It’s a hella expensive. I use 30.000 merit point for that. But it’s worth it. It increase my basic speed. Because it have {passive} status, that means I don’t need any Warrior Energy to use it, same as my body battle skill. As for the gauntlet I buy it with a discount ticket I get. It even more expensive. It cost me 45.000 merit point with a discount ticket. It so expensive that without discount ticket I won’t ever buy it. But it’s worth it. It increase my regular punch and fist battle skill. Most of the people don’t even have a bronze grade armanents.

The only resource that I’m not used yet is a few Energy Potion and a free pass for Peak Area.

“AI, should I use it now. It’s been more than three month since I get it. I already feel that it’s so hard to become stronger with just a normal means. Even when I accept a few one red star mission, my growth is kinda stop” (Rudeus)

“Ding.. according to system analysis, even if master use it now master at most only become level 6 Warrior. So the system suggest that master keep it until the time master really need it.” (AI)

“Geez.. alright then. But AI seems like it’s really hard to become stronger now” (Rudeus)

“Yes master. Most people won’t get many chance to become stronger when they reach level 5 Warrior. They need more resource to keep up with their progress.” (AI)

I buy a few supply in Student Care Area. Not just me, many of first year student is bought their own supply too.

“Yeah Rudeus. I already try a few of student that I know but they already have their own team and some of them don’t want to take a risk.” (Grid)

“Well that can’t be help, after all the High exam have a death risk after all. Maybe beside us only 3 to 5 others team will try it.” (Rudeus)

“So whose the fourth one you brought ?” (Rudeus)

“Miss Velma. Actually she doesn’t want to take the High one but she said she will coming if I can found the last member” (Grid)

“I see. What we need Grid ?” (Rudeus)

“Well actually we need a vanguard but it will be ok if it’s a damage dealer like you or Darvan. After we already have you. Even though you not are a vanguard but you have your body battle skill” (Grid)

“Well ok then maybe I can ask that person” (Rudeus)

“Who are you talking about Rudeus ?” said Grid curiously
