Me and Grid walk toward one of the building in this Academy, Student Research Department.

“Hey Rudeus, why you bring us to this place ?” (Grid)

“Well of course to ask another student to join us” (Rudeus)

“What..?? Are you sure about this. You know this is a Student Research Department right” (Grid)

“Well yeah, of course I know it.” (Rudeus)

Then Grid look at me weirdly.

Well I can’t blame him for that. After all a student of research department is not really good in combat. Well what can I say, they are a researcher right not fighter. Even their exam if different than us.

Both of us arrive in front of a library like place. This place is full of books like library. Then I told Grid to wait and then I enter the place

I talk to a receptionist like girl “Hey, I want to meet with miss Elsiya please.”

Yeah the one I want to invite is miss Elsiya Von Leviathan.

“Hmm.. wait a moment please. What’s your name so I can told her.” said the girl

“Ah.. just told her ‘the man who share a table’” (Rudeus)

“Huh ?” the girl confused and I just nod at her

“Well, wait a moment then” said the girl

After a moment of waiting miss Elsiya greet me

“Hello, she said you want to meet me. Is there something you need ?” (Elsiya)

“Ah.. hello miss Elsiya. It’s me. Well maybe you won’t remember me though, but that’s fine. Yeah I need something to ask. Can we talk for a moment ?” (Rudeus)

She look at me a few seconds and then said “Alright. Let’s go to that corner”

“Ok” (Rudeus)

After that I talk to her and told her what happen

“So what are your answer miss Elsiya. Can you join us ?” (Rudeus)

“Hmm.. before I answer that, can I ask you something mr Rudeus ?” (Elsiya)

“Sure” (Rudeus)

“Why me ? I believe there will be so many student want to join your group. What’s more you have someone like mr Grid the scout and miss Velma too” (Elsiya)

“Hmm.. can you believe if I said I have a feeling that you will be interested ?” (Rudeus)

“Huh..?” she stare at me confusedly

“Well, alright then. First, I know many people want to join us, but I want this mission to succeed so I need someone whose strong enough to take care themselves and the team. Second, I know you are strong, miss Elsiya. I don’t know many people but I know, in this Academy maybe only Lance and few student from a second year can match your strength. Third, I don’t know why you become a researcher student but maybe you have something that you want to accomplish, well not like I care about it but I know you want to become strong too. For that you need resource and this is an opportunity for you and for us too. Last..” I look around a bit and then said “I know you will be interested in this exam, just like I said before. I believe you will try to challenge the exam by yourself if you need too. Am I wrong miss Elsiya ?” I stare at her

“Hmm.. I see. So you come to me before I decide to join the exam by myself huh” said miss Elsiya with a bit of chuckle

“Yeah, just say.. quite lucky I guess” I raise my shoulder

“Alright then I will join your team, but please wait a few moment. I have something I need to do. You can wait me in the outside” (Elsiya)

“Ok then miss Elsiya” I walk out.

But just a few step miss Elsiya called me “Wait”

I turn my head “Hmm..”

“How you know that I want to become stronger ?” said miss Elsiya curiously

“It’s show in your face when we talked in that cafeteria table. Even if you want to hide it. After all I’m the same, I want to become strong too” then I just walk away after I said those

Miss Elsiya just stand there and stare at me from my back.

“Well, it’s done. Now we have full member Grid. We can wait a few moment” (Rudeus)

“What the..? Who are you invited Rudeus ? Are you sure you want to do this ?” said Grid nervously

“Calm down. I believe you will agree with me” (Rudeus)

“It’s not like that Rudeus. It just you should know right, this mission is important. Who are you invited actually ?” said Grid quite angry

Then I heard someone come and so I said to Grid “Her”. I pointed at miss Elsiya

When just Grid want to say something, he stop and said “Miss Elsiya!!”

“Hello mr Grid. I heard your name a lot. You are famous among first year student” said miss Elsiya with a little bow

“Ah.. yeah thank you. Wait, are you gonna join us miss Elsiya ?” ask Grid quite schocked

“Yes. Mr Rudeus invited me. He said that your team is lack one person, so he invited me to join the team. So can I join the team mr Grid ?” (Elsiya)

Grid look at me and then said “Of course miss Elsiya. Well, welcome to the team miss Elsiya. I will talk to the other member. Please, can you come to the training ground tomorrow at nine o’clock in the morning. After that we still need to discuss our formation so I hope you will have time for that”

“Sure. I will be there tomorrow. Well for your reference, you can say that I’m a damage dealer.” (Elsiya)

“I see. I understand then” (Grid)

“Well it’s time for us to go. See you tomorrow miss Elsiya” (Rudeus)

“See you then mr Rudeus and mr Grid” said miss Elsiya politely

We are back to my own room, but Grid keep looking and staring at me like a person who want to take away their money.

“C’mon Grid. Don’t stare at me like that. People will misunderstanding if they see you look at me like that” I said and I keep my distance a bit

“Geez.. seriously. What can I say huh Rudeus ? First, how can you know miss Elsiya ?” said Grid curiously

“Well I told you already right. We share the same table in the cafeteria because other table is full” (Rudeus)

“Hm.. ok then if you won’t tell me. But can you told me what you said to her so she want to join us ?” (Grid)

“Geez.. I told you the truth. Well it’s up to you if you don’t believe me. Well I just told her that if she want to become strong, she don’t want to miss this opportunity” I said helplessly

“Hmm.. to become strong ? What is that mean ?” (Grid)

“I don’t know. I just know that she want to become strong” I shake my head

“Well alright then. Now we have full team, I will make a few strategy so we can discuss it tomorrow.” (Grid)

“Sure. Don’t get yourself work too hard Grid. We need you in this mission” (Rudeus)

“Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing. See you” (Grid)

“See you tomorrow” (Rudeus)

In the morning all of us met in the training ground

“Well I believe everyone knows her, but let me introduce her the. Miss Elsiya, our fifth member in this team” I introduce her to everyone

Everyone is silent and look at me and miss Elsiya. Only Grid give a chuckle
