A few minutes of silent between us make all of us are kinda awkward now. I never thought that when I brought miss Elsiya to the team. I mean I know that she is a well known person but seems like she is too high profile for a student huh.

“Ahem.. I think we should register our team now and take a mission.” said Grid and try to break the silent

“Yeah right. I think we should go now before it’s too late.” I said immediately

Three of them of nod at the same time. Seems like it’s still quite hard for Darvan and miss Velma.

“Hello, we want to register our party.” said Grid to the overseer

He look at us and said “Alright, give me our Student ID Card and pin your blood to this crystal”

“Ok.” then all of us give our Student ID Card and pin our blood

“You can go to Student Mission Area and talk to the overseer there.” said the overseer

“Thank you” (Grid)

We walk towards Student Affairs Hall but all of us is silent. I thought that we can’t keep this going like this. In the Mission Area we talk to the overseer and then she said “Alright, follow me.”

She brought us to a room.

“This is a mission room. Now you can choose the mission the Academy provides. When you already choose your mission please come to me. If you have any question you can ask me.” said the female overseer

“Thank you. We will choose our mission now.” (Grid)

Soon after the female overseer left us, we begin to talk which mission should we accept

“Well then, do you guys have any thought ?” said Grid

I look at the mission and said “Are we gonna choose subjection or gather the material ?”

“For me it’s better to fight” said Darvan

“I choose gathering” add miss Velma

“How about you miss Elsiya ? You are a research student, I believe you can provide us more information regarding this” I said and look at miss Elsiya

“Well.. There are only 10 mission and two of them is already been taken by others team. So that mean we do not need to worry about clash with other team because we will have different mission.” and then miss Elsiya continue said “I think it’s better if we take the gather mission.”

“Hmm.. can you told us why ?” (Rudeus)

“Yes, first if we take the subjection that mean after we kill the monster the mission is done but the thing is we won’t get that much point. If I remember in this exam the most important thing is the point that the overseer give us, the more point we get the more rewards we receive. Second, when we gather the material that means we must fight with a monster beast too, so we can gather monster carapace. Not only we can gain more merit point, we can even sold those things. That’s all” said miss Elsiya

“Well I kinda agree with her in this. After all we need more resources now to become stronger” I thought deeply

“So any other opinion ?” I ask other member

“What miss Elsiya said is right. I agree with her.” said Grid

“Well if both of you agree then we agree too. But how can we search the material. It’s not like all of us is known for accepting that kind of mission right” said miss Velma

“Well I think there won’t be any problem for that. We have miss Elsiya in our party now. I believe she knows many information about those kind of things.” then I continue said “What do you think miss Elsiya ?”

“Thank you mr Rudeus” (Elsiya)

“Alright now which one we will choose ?” said Grid and he look at miss Elsiya

“The hardest mission to gather is that one. To gather the bone of hundred years monster beast. We will face so many beast that even third year will have problem. As for the second one it will be to search and collect a 5 leaf rainbow herb” said miss Elsiya

“Wow, so the other gather mission is not dangerous ?” (Rudeus)

“Of course it is dangerous, but not as dangerous as the two mission” (Elsiya)

“I see. Well now choose guys.” (Rudeus)

No one say anything though. Seems like everyone is kinda doubt which one to take. If we take the most dangerous one like miss Elsiya the death risk is higher, even though other mission have death risk too.

“I think we should think about what we want to achieve first” said Grid suddenly

“Yeah, Grid is right. We should think what we want to achieve. If we want a higher rewards we should choose the one miss Elsiya said. Well I believe everyone already think about accepting those two mission only, but which one right” (Rudeus)

“Yeah. But you should know Rudeus, even if we want more resources we must stay alive after the mission” (Darvan)

“You are right. Miss Elsiya, can you told us why those two is dangerous ? Is it because the place we need to go or the monster we need to kill” (Rudeus)

“Both. Well if we accept the one collect 5 leaf rainbow herb, the place is kinda hard to search and the monster guarding it will be stronger but at least I think we still have a chance. For the second one we need fight a lot of monster and I don’t even know how strong they are. I know the place where we can gather bone of hundred years monster beast” said miss Elsiya

“Seems like it’s the same. Let’s just vote than” I said to others

“So raise your hand if you want to gather 5 leaf rainbow herb” (Rudeus)

Then miss Elsiya, Grid and miss Velma raise their hand

“Well three to two. Let’s take it then” (Rudeus)

Well I guess for me and Darvan it’s easier just to fight. After all both of us is pure combat Warrior

“Ok I will told the overseer the mission we choose.” (Grid)

Then everyone get out from the room.

“Overseer, we take the mission to search and collect 5 leaf rainbow herb” (Grid)

“Ho ho.. I never though there will be a party dare to accept that mission. Well ok then. Take this plate. This plate mean that your party is the one that take that mission. You have 5 days to prepare. Go to east gate when the exam day begin” said the female overseer

“Thank you” we bow and left Student Mission Area

After we pick our mission we gather in Tree Garden Area to discuss strategy and what should we do in mission. We don’t have any choice, most of the place like cafeteria and training ground is full of student

“So what we gonna do in the mission ?” (Darvan)

“Miss Elsiya can you elaborate what is 5 leaf rainbow herb and the location we must search” (Rudeus)

“Alright. the 5 leaf rainbow herb is a rare kind of herb that let the warrior breakthrough their level without much problem. If the Warrior use 5 leaf rainbow herb when they breakthrough It will increase the chance of success. Every leaf will give boost of 20% chance success.” she stop for a moment think about something and then continue said “For the location we must search is the place where all the energy condense in one spot.”

“Whoa.. that much boost huh. So if someone use 5 leaf that means 100% breakthrough then” (Darvan)

“Yes. But only Warrior level.” (Elsiya)

“What do you mean by the place where energy condense in one spot miss Elsiya” (Grid)

“Well, the easier to say for example is Student Peak Area. You all should know if you train in that place your training speed is increase by many fold. I don’t know if everyone know it but it’s because the energy is condense in one area. Of course they use something like array to do that and to make it time slower inside that place.” (Elsiya)

“So you mean we must search a place like that but a natural one huh.” said Grid seriously

“Yeah that’s right” (Elsiya)

“Alright then. I will try gather as much as I can to increase our chance complete this mission” said Grid

“I will look into research document then” add miss Elsiya

“Well that means three of us will take care of our supply” I said and Darvan and miss Velma nod too

“Alright let’s meet up before the exam day” (Grid)

All of us nod and then begin our assignment.
