We’ve arrive in the new area called Monkey Mountain Forest. We must pass this forest if we want travel to the Mischief Mountain. This area is filled by monkey monster beast.

“Be careful everyone, we are in the monkey mountain forest. Don’t make hasty move. We just need to pass this forest

before we arrive in Mischief Mountain.” Grin warned

“Yeah” everyone nod

As we keep walking, many of the monkey beast staring at us from the tree. I kept looking around afraid they will attack. I

ready my guards and walk more slowly.

“Grid ?” said me nervously

“It’s fine Rudeus. We will reduce our pace but don’t do disturb them. Let them following us. As long as we do not disturb

and attack them first, we should be fine.” said Grid with calm voice

Seems like Grid is right, but the things is they keep coming and increase in number and they already surrounded us from

from the tree. It make me nervous and my body is tensed

“Grid are you sure about this ?” said Darvan suddenly

“Yeah, just keep calm. They won’t make any move unless we do something to them” Grid said reassuringly.

The monkey monster already surrounded us by a large number. If we fight now I don’t know if we can survive. Well I

have my body battle skill and recovery ability, I can survive longer but that’s it. If something like rank 8 or rank 9

monkey come I’m done for.

“Grid, you know right if they attack us now there is no way we can survive their assault.” said Darvan nervously

“Just calm your mind Darvan. We just need to be careful. They will leave us when the night come.” said Grid to make

everyone keep calm

“It’s already afternoon. In just a few hours they will leave us” said Grid again

“Ok” everyone nod

A few hours pass by. The monkey monster beast which following us reduce little by little. Of course I still keep my

guards and kept looking around if they will attack us.

“The night is coming. We should find a place to make our camp for tonight.” said Grid

“Where can we should make our camp Grid ? I don’t want to get attack at night by these monkey monster” said Darvan

“Let’s find a safe place as we keep walking” said Grid

After a few minutes of walking, we found a place we can use for tonight.

“Alright. let’s camp in this place. The girls should make their tent first. Rudeus, you will search a few wood that we can

use to make a fire. Me and Darvan will make our tent” Grid order everyone to do their job

“Alright” “Sure” said everyone

I search a few wood that we can use, I am not dare to lower my guards in case something happen.

When I get back to our camp spot seems like they finished to make a tent. The tent that everyone make is amazing. Even

though it looks small from the outside, it is big in the inside. Everyone sit close to the fire.

“Let’s make something. I collect the Horned Black Bear meat. We can roast it. I even pack a few spice.” I said to

everyone

“Alright” said Darvan happily

Just as we roast the meat. I ask Grid a few things about the mission.

“Grid, how long are we need to pass this Monkey Mountain Forest ?” (Rudeus)

“Tomorrow if we are lucky. We should move early in the morning and we will arrive in Mischief Mountain by

afternoon.” (Grid)

“Wow, this Monkey Mountain Forest is sure big huh.” (Rudeus)

“Yes, according to the map and the information I got. This area is filled by monkey monster beast which live in

community. Even they are not the same race, they still live in harmony. That’s why we can not disturb and attack them

first. They will keep coming if the fight break” said Grid and warned us.

“So there is nothing else live inside these forest ?” (Darvan)

“There is. But most of them is a low level rank monster.” (Grid)

“So they are a non aggressive monster too huh” (Rudeus)

“Yeah, but even though you said it like that, they still gonna attack and retaliate if something threaten them.” (Grid)

All of us chat quite a bit. We need to have a night watch and switch around.

“So. there is 5 of us. I will guard alone. I’m a scout after all. So you all can decided.” said Grid

“Hmm..” all of us look each other

“Well how about this, Darvan and miss Velma will together and guards first. So miss Elsiya and Rudeus will guard

together in the second. I will guards the last hours” said Grid

“Alright.” everyone nod

I lay down my body and sleep. Well actually I want to meditate but I’m not in the mood to do that in the middle of forest.

As I sleep a few hours, Darvan wake me up.

“Rudeus, time to switch” (Darvan)

“Ugh.. OK” I make ok sign to Darvan.

I walk out from our tent and seems like miss Elsiya is the same. The campfire is already off so we sit around in the dark

night.

As I keep looking around our eyes meet each other. My body is tense and nervous so I try to speak with her

“Thanks you for joining us miss Elsiya” I said suddenly

She stare at me a few second and then said “No, I should be the one thanking you. I thought I will be doing this alone.

What you said before is right mr Rudeus.”

“Hahaha..” I laugh a little and said “Well, so you believed what I’m said before ?”

“Hmm.. Which one ?” (Elsiya)

“When I said I have a feeling that you will be join” (Rudeus)

She stop for a moment and said “I don’t know about that. After all in the end it’s true that I will take the mission”

“Yeah you right” (Rudeus)

After that silent is between us again. Maybe because we don’t have any topic to talk about, what’s more I still quite

nervous when I talked to her. After sometime she speak and ask me something

She look at me and said “Why you want to become stronger mr Rudeus ?”

I look at her confusedly “??”

“You said that time, you want to become stronger too.” (Elsiya)

“Ah.. that.” I take a breath and said “Do you believe if I said I just want to live ?” I look at her

“Huh..”

We look at each other a few second and then she said “I see.”

“Huh.. you believe me just like that ?” I’m surprise

“Well, even though we are not known each other for a long time, I know that you are someone who told the truth unless

something is really important to you. Like the last time you told me” said her seriously

“Hmm..” I see and scratch my head. ” I don’t know you will give me that kind of remark”

“Really ? I thought everyone will see you like that, am I wrong ?” (Elsiya)

“That.. I don’t know. After all I never ask anyone.” (Rudeus)

“But still, you make me rather curious.” (Elsiya)

“What do you mean miss Elsiya ?”

“I’m curious why you say you just want to live. After all you are a strong person. If not, I don’t think mr Grid, mr Darvan

and miss Velma will make a team with you. From the look of it, even though mr Grid is the one order us and lead us but

you are the one who form this team” (Elsiya)

“Ah..” I take a deep breath and said “Just say that I already experience death and do not want it to happen again”.

After I said that I remember the first time I transmigrate to this world and the things all unknown to me. At least I want to

live even if I must fight.

“I see.” (Elsiya)

“Maybe something happen to him that he don’t want it to happen again” she thought deeply

After that we quite chat other things. Of course we keep looking around in case something happen. I even patrol a few

times to make sure there is nothing ambushed us. And so the time to switch is coming. I walk towards the tent and wake

up Grid

“Grid, your time” (Rudeus)

“Hmm.. I see. Alright, get some sleep then Rudeus” (Grid)

“Yeah” and after that I sleep just sleep.
