The Gamer’s System - Chapter 281
[You have successfully cleared all of the objectives. No further missions will be given by the System.]
As soon as Zeke defeated Vardus, all of the distortedness and anomalies he caused also ceased to exist. The [Time Eaters] shattered including the one which imprisoned Chrono. The boy aged a lot and was at his teen years all because of the [Time Eater].
However, there were some things that couldn’t be restored right away. This includes the worlds destroyed by Pier.
This was a top priority for Sinclair who only began feeling the loss of Nisha at that moment. Yet there was something she needed to do even before that. Namely, the gamer, Zeke Elwood, must first be properly compensated.
“Mister Elwood, thank you for all your services until this point. We would’ve had great difficulty with the enemy if it weren’t for you?”
“Great difficulty?” Zeke repeated in a mocking tone.
“Why are you making it sound like we couldn’t handle it without you?” One of the minor gods butted in, turning Zeke’s attention to them.
“Ah these must be the minor gods. Tell me, who among you schemed with Pier and the god of flames Calitha?”
“W-what are you talking about?”
“My first death. All the bad things that happened throughout my mission. Who among you sons of bitches were responsible for that?”
“T-this human is giving false accusations on us!” Those responsible were having cold sweat run on their foreheads. Zeke could clearly see it. Even without them saying anything, [All Seeing Eye] was doing its job; looking into all of their information at the same time.
“This doesn’t feel as weird as I thought it would.” Zeke said to himself as the gods and goddesses felt what he was doing.
“Stop that! You are not allowed to look into a god or goddess’ information.”
“If I’m not allowed to look, then you should put some effort in hiding it.”
It wasn’t like they weren’t doing so. In fact, all effort was being placed into the task. Yet Zeke could easily bypass all of their defenses and still gather the information he needed.
“So fifty more of you were in on it.”
“Zeke Elwood, stop that at once!” Sinclair demanded.
“Oh? I thought you were going to reward me or something.” The gamer’s voice was sarcastic. There wasn’t anything in the world that they could offer him. Zeke already had everything he needed.
“If you do not stop this insolence, you will leave us with no other option but to use force.” Just as Sinclair finished speaking, a bullet grazed her cheek.
“What…”
“Unfortunately for you, this isn’t anything like the last time.”
All of the gods prepared to fight at that point but Zeke simply snapped his fingers. Samael was actually ready to cast its spell, activating [Grand Chariot – Ultimatum] which enclosed all of the divine beings. Chrono tried stopping this but, in the presence of the conjured Vardus, his spell was inevitably cancelled.
“That’s not gonna work kid.” Zeke said to Chrono who also had shock written all over his face as, the [Grand Chariot] finally closed.
He was in the Heavenly Realm. The place where the gods resided. It was beautiful as much as it was grand; with all the created worlds just beneath his feet. Yet, it was also a delusional prison for a bunch of immature hypocrites.
“System, how long will it take me to rewrite the basic system of all created worlds?”
[Answer: If these would simply be a few variables that would not cause a dramatic change, then it would only take a whole divine day.]
“So a year in human time?”
[Yes. But within this realm, you will only feel the passage of days just like the gods.]
“Okay then. We have something on our agenda as soon as I deal with these pesky brats.” Zeke brought out the item he forged a while ago. One which was the combination of the five gems he found in the caves of the Demon Continent’s Rift.
[Item Name: Realm Prison]
[Information: Anything sealed within the item cannot escape unless the requirements have been met. The prison may potentially break depending on the overall strength of that which is imprisoned.]
[Information: It is impossible to trap a god or a goddess within the item.]
Zeke placed the item on his [Forge] together with the loot he obtained by killing the divine version of [Vardus]. He placed all of these as sacrificial materials; assuring that the item that would come out was still a [Realm Prison] of the sort.
“Hephaestus Forging.” The item shone with the same brilliance of a star exploding. Flames from the forge rose and, as soon as this died down, Zeke had his new item in his hands.
[Item Name: Eternity Prison]
[Information: Anything which enters this realm have no chance of escaping and will gradually have their essence drained away until they die.]
“Well I should say my farewells at least.” Zeke said, putting the item back in his pocket and deciding to enter the [Grand Chariot].
“You two stay here.” Samael and Vardus nodded as Zeke Elwood met with the gods he resented so much.
“GET US OUT OF HERE MORTAL!” A demand was shouted at the get go. Running the fuse of his patience even lower than it already was.
“Okay, it seemes like we started on the wrong foot so let me try that again.”
Some gods and goddesses tried attacking him at that point. They were divinity. The highest form of creation that could ever exist. They breathed life into worlds and maintained balance because of their providence. Yet, one of their creations had them trapped. And what made this even more humiliating was that, they didn’t even have the power to escape.
They simply acted based on the normal response. Furious on the audacity of Zeke Elwood to even dare the stunt he was pulling.
Various spells were fired at the same time. All being divine level. There was no escaping it because Chrono could simply turn back time. All their spells clashed together and mixed, creating the same sphere of darkness which the elites accidentally made during the fight with Pier.
It had enough power to destroy a whole universe yet there was nothing but a frightened expression on their faces. The prison they were placed in was still intact and, this meant that the summoner of the creature holding them there was still alive.
“You really had to begin with an attack didn’t you?” Zeke’s voice could be heard from within the spiraling combination of spells.
“Unfortunately for you, I’ve got a ton of spells that could nullify your attacks.” Zeke emerged out of the attack virtually undamaged. He raised the sphere on his hand; still highly dangerous as it was. Then with a single cast of a spell, it vanished completely.
“I believe that is enough of a demonstration on the difference of our powers.”
“Zeke stop this! Don’t you know what you are doing?” Sinclair pleaded.
“Oh I know exactly what I’m doing.”
“While I was in Mythos, I encountered the god that you exiled. Both of us were on our second lives because of a single bloody god that you couldn’t keep in check!”
“We tried our best to stop him but we had no evidence.”
“Evidence? The hell are you saying? His title in itself is enough to put him to exile dumbass.”
“Do not speak to me in that tone!” Sinclair raised her voice and this was all the motivation Zeke needed to cast a hundred layers of divine level spells above his enemies.
“Temper. Temper.” Zeke said, making Sinclair bite her lips as she waited for the gamer to finish.
“Calitha told me about everything. He resented you guys so much that he revealed all the lapses and blunders you caused throughout history. And all I can say is that, for a bunch of All-Powerful beings, you guys are also All-Stupid.”
“I cannot take this anymore! Let’s kill him!” As soon as the goddess said this, a bullet passed through her chest. Divine blood flowed out of it and Zeke didn’t waste time to shoot her head next. The goddess was dead and, the terror of this event sent chills on every other divine being.
“The only reason I’m here is to bid you all farewell. You are relieved from your jobs so feel free to do everything you want inside this prison.”
“Zeke please! What have we ever done to you?” Sinclair demanded.
“It’s not what you did. It’s what you didn’t do. It’s what you could’ve done.”
Every one of them was accepting Zeke’s words. With the spells aimed at them and the guns he used to kill one of their own, they weren’t stupid enough to speak against him again.
“Can you at least give us another chance?”
“Another chance? Do you know how many mortals died asking for that same thing? You are not even qualified to ask of that you sick self-centered prick!”
“But Zeke – ” The gamer snapped his finger and the spells he prepared all fell down as a beam of multi-colored light. In the midst of all these gods, there was only one which Zeke save. Taking her by the waist and bringing her out of [Grand Chariot].
“That was quite the show there Zeke.” It was Yaeger, the mother of Heron.
“Oh don’t pretend you didn’t like it. You hate them as much as I do.” Zeke used [Eternity Prison] right away. Sealing all the gods within a cube which he held in his hands.
“So what do you plan to do now?”
“That much should be obvious ma’am.” Zeke said, staring down at all the worlds which were slowly getting destroyed.
“I’m going to rewrite every natural law.”
