[Ping, ping, ping…]
A constant pinging noise resounded in my head and just wouldn’t go away, and covering my ears didn’t really help. ‘Can’t a man just sleep in peace.’ With no choice left, I opened my eyes.
[Pin-, Host we are approximately 25 seconds from arriving into your new body on Eden, I was ringing the alarm to awaken you, I am sorry if I have caused you discomfort.]
‘Hmm, oh no it’s alright, besides I’m the one that told you to do that, so don’t worry about it.’
[Thank you for your forgiveness Host. Host, I advise you to have a look around while you are following the path to the connection to your body, as you can see what your surroundings like, and spot points of interest.]
‘Ohhh, thanks for the information, this will make things easier on me.’ As my conversation with the System came to a close, I pay attention to what’s in front of me and boy I’m happy I did. I saw a planet that was much different looking from Earth from the pictures. While there were some similarities, a big difference would be the landmass to water ratio, from the looks of this side of the planet it would be about 5.5 to 4.5, meaning it was 55% land and 45% water. A could see long lines of blue crystal clear, that even from here I could see sparkling water, probably because of my increased senses, that divided the mainlands to different parts, like a natural barrier, however, there were few breaks in it. The mainlands were enormous so big that Russia would only be considered as big as Monaco, the smallest country, if it was placed on any of them, yes fu*king insane. That means it was much larger than Earth, by how much I have no idea and may even be larger than the Sun.
The first and most noticeable landmass was the one that looked like someone nuked the sh*t out of it, the land was barren, charred black, and there looked to be not even a single bit of plant life on it. Not only that but parts of it looked red hot and molten, along with what looked like tall dark bumps that pointed to space, they were most likely giant volcanoes, it was so bad that just by looking at it I felt hot, all in all, it looked hellish, so it shall be dubbed the Infernal Continent, IC.
The second one was basically the opposite of the Infernal Continent, it looked like you would need to wear at least 20 jackets before even trying set foot on it. The whole place was completely blinding white, just looking at it hurt my eyes, dense clouds were constantly circling around it, possibly meaning there was a blizzard going on right now, and with what was most likely a long line of sky-piercing mountains, this shall be the Frozen Peaks Continent.
The third one was not that noticeable, there was a good amount of plant life, it was easy to tell because of all the green, but the most notable parts where the long patches of open land that were great for building. The patches of empty land had small splotches of colors, like gray, green, red, and all other colors, I’m guessing those are buildings made by humans it is really hard to tell. I couldn’t really get that most information about it this high up, but I will just call it the Land of Ningens, home of the humans.
[…]
The fourth and final landmass I could see and make out was a place that was completely and utterly inhabited in plant life, it was a place that looked like it was untouched by human hands, and shaped naturally. I couldn’t see a lot because of all the plant life, but I could see that there were some spots of open land with mountains, and large circle that was filled with water that was probably what supplied the land with freshwater, this was my kind of place I hope to land there. I shall call this place the Wildlands.
[Host your destination has been chosen, be prepared for integration.]
‘Another integration, oh well I’m used to them now, well let’s begin’ I begin to feel a downwards force that pulled me in the direction of the Wildlands, it wasn’t gravity but something else, I’m guessing it is my soul rushing to my body. ‘Yes, my body is on the Wildlands, a place that I can truly fit in, “haha.” I laugh in excitement when was the last time I had done that, I guess fresh air really makes you feel better.
Yahweh was surrounded by a pillar of white light that could be seen only within a specific range as not to attract too much attention. The beam of light was rushing towards what looked like a giant wolf type creature that was black and white, it had a slender body and lanky body, it had a very bushy and giant tail that made up 25% of its body. The creature also had strange forelimbs, the left one was like a mitten gauntlet, and the right one was shaped like a cyclone knife with serrations, making it very deadly. It was 1.5 meters in height and 3 meters long, its narrow head, thin legs, and the tip of the bushy tail was covered in black fur, and its body that had an arch to it, that was helpful for standing low to the ground, was covered in white fur.
This creature was curled up into a circle with its eyes closed, resting was connected to the beam as on a white dot on its forehead. As Yahweh’s beam of light got closer and closer, its size was reduced more and more, until it was nothing more than a brightly shining dot of light, that slowly entered into the creature. This phenomenon didn’t attract too much attention as things like these sometimes occur in this forest, but that didn’t stop some creatures from inspecting it.
I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was…trees and lots of them. I was hoping for something more exciting, but hey beggars can’t be choosers. I was looking around but soon realized that I could…see better, is the only way of putting it. I could see an ant, or what looked like an ant, on the tree that was about, hmm say 50 meters away however…that was out of the corner of my left eye. My right eye was seeing a whole nother image, what it saw was a set of jaws slowly heading straight for my thorat…what? I subconsciously scratch out my left hand because I didn’t think I could dodge in time and I didn’t want to risk it.
*Booom*, *Shnnk* *Thud* those were the sounds of my arm creating shockwave, along with my arm piercing straight through the creature, and my shockwaves created earlier pushing the creature off my arm. This all happened so fast that it took my brain a few seconds to catch up.
“What?.” That was the only thing that came out of my mouth, however, it only sounded like a low growl. ‘System…what the hell just happened.’
