The God Of Light And Darkness - Chapter 21
*Whoosh*
If someone looked up at the night sky, they would see a figure flying past at the speed of a falling star.
Of course, different from an actual falling star, the figure only left behind a tail of crimson red blood rather than a bright and colorful one.
*BOOM*
And finally after flying for a few seconds, the figure stopped only when it hit another building.
Crawling out of the debris was a single person with complete white hair and cyan eyes.
Despite being able to take the debris from on top of his body, Neo looked extremely pale with a huge wound on his chest that had blood leaking every time he breathes.
Blood also trickled down the corner of his lips as he struggled to get on his feet.
“Dammit…” He cursed under his breathe, [I didn’t even had the chance to fight back…] He thought back at when he was facing off Bog and with a flick of his figure, Bog sent Neo flying out of the room with a single blow on his chest.
While he was flying in the air spitting blood, he didn’t forget to glance down at the city and what he saw surprised him.
There was simple no one in the city, absolutely nobody, not a single car not a single pedestrian in the streets, nothing at all.
He thought that Bog had isolated his room from the outside world, but it seemed like he had been transported to another whole dimension separated the real one.
The power to create another dimension as one see fit… a god-like power.
Neo placed his hand over the wall to support his heavily injured body and looked at the fastly approaching figure with that huge and creepy smile on his face.
He lifted his other hand and started to control his shadow to attack the incoming Bog.
But he soon realized that something was wrong.
Neo’s pupils shrunk as his face suddenly turned.
The shadows… he couldn’t control it anymore.
It didn’t matter how many times he tried to control them, they didn’t listen.
Seeing that Bog was almost arriving, Neo decided to switch strategy and opened his mouth to chant a dark magic.
{Tier 1 Dark Spell: Dark Spear}
But the results were the same, it didn’t work.
He completely lost his connection with the dark element.
Neither his Law of Darkness and his dark magic were working at all.
“How does it feel?” Neo lifted his eyes and saw that Bog had already landed right in front of him whole he was lost in confusion.
“What have you done?” Neo asked warily with a dry voice.
“Nothing much…” Bog let loose a creepy laugh before saying, “I just sealed your Law of Darkness present in your soul when I sent you flying. Your expertise over dark magic and your peculiar Law of Darkness might prove to be troublesome that’s why I directly sealed it away and make you powerless. Who know what kind of spell you can take out of your hat and injury me, or escape. Also, don’t even think of running away since this isn’t the real world, as you probably have already realized, but rather an alternate dimension created by me.”
Neo flinched after he heard his ability to control darkness had been sealed.
He tried once again to summon his shadow, but like before the shadow didn’t move an inch.
“!!!” Neo felt something approaching his body.
*Bam*
Neo was sent deeper into the building by a single kick from Bog that Neo hadn’t the minimal chance to dodge at time.
“*Cough*…” Neo coughed a mouthful of blood as his lungs felt like burning from the incredible amount of pain he was under.
Without the need to carefully exam himself, he knew for sure that all his ribs were completely broke and his organs had probably been pierced by some bone shards.
*Bam*
Once again Neo was directly hit, this time however, Bog aimed for the head, and after he hit him, he kept his foot on top of Neo’s head.
Neo found himself in a humiliating position as he was fallen with his chest on the ground and Bog was keeping his foot on top of Neo’s head, making it impossible for him to move a single inch.
“How is it? The feeling of being humiliated? The helplessness? The powerlessness?” Bog gleefully let loose a sadistic laugh seeing Neo powerless beneath his foot.
[What’s this…? What. The. Fuck. Is. This!?] Rage filled Neo’s mind as he was never humiliated like now.
He struggled, but it came to no fruition. All it did was make Bog even happier since he hated when his preys give up.
Neo knew that struggling was useless since after the first strike he felt that maniac’s strength.
He was stronger than the God he fought back at Gorgon Province, Ares.
And he from what he felt, Bog was on par with Tartarus, one of the Primordial Gods.
In the end, Neo didn’t have a chance at his current strength to even struggle under the overwhelming power coming from Bog.
“Time to end this…” Bog suddenly said as he grew bored of bullying Neo.
He lifted his fist as it glowed with an omnius purple light.
*Whoosh*
He swung his fist downwards.
Neo only felt like a mountain pressing on his body just from the pressure alone of the fist from before it could close to his body.
[Is this the end?] That was Neo’s last thought as he lost all hope and just waited for his doom.
“That’s enough!” A powerful and loud voice reverberated out of nowhere.
*BOOM!!!!!*
The ground quaked. The buildings all over the city shook to their core as the loud collision echoed throughout Bog’s dimension.
Feeling that the pressure disappeared and that there was no more foot on his head, Neo glanced up and immediately took the chance to stand up.
What he saw was the only the ruins of the city and on the middle of the ruins there was two figures facing each other.
One of them was of course the green-haired young man with green eyes, Bog, and the other was an ethereal figure completely white from head to toes, even after carefully staring at it, Neo was unable to spot any discernable feature on that white figure.
But, from the pressure coming from that person, Neo identified it.
It was without doubt, the Mad God.
Seeing who was in front of him, Bog grinned, “Long time no see, Ar-”
“Don’t say my name…Bog.” The Mad God warned with a threatening tone, “You’re not allowed to say my name.”
“You still hate me…” Bog said lowly and then happily laughed without restrain, “HAHAHAHAHAHA… GOOD, HATE ME, DESPISE ME! TO THE ETERNITY! THAT’S WHAT I WANT!”
“Bog…” Neo could feel the aura around Mad God close to going berserk from rage and hatred.
Neo was very familiar with such aura and feelings, after all, the amount of hatred that Mad God had for Bog was almost the same he had for Ajax.
In this aspect, Neo saw that both him and Mad God were similar. Both hated someone else to the extreme.
But what made Neo surprised was despite the hate and rage, Mad God was still refraining to take action and directly destroy Bog.
Even from the distance, Neo could tell that Mad God was infinitely stronger than Bog.
“You finally returned, but you’re already creating chaos in my territory again. I’ll not allow you to continue acting as you please.” The Mad God calmed down as fast as he was enraged earlier and spoke slowly as he was trying to control his emotions.
“Heh…” Bog snorted as his mouth widened in that eerie inhuman smile, “I just wanted to see your new toy…not very good I must say, in fact, useless. Couldn’t even fight back.”
“Of course. Even though this isn’t your main body, look at your current strength and look at his. If he really managed to fight back, I would be very surprised.” The Mad God shook his head and turned to spare only a quick at Neo before turning to Bog once again, “That’s enough, Bog. Get out before I lose my patience and get rid of another body of yours.”
Bog squinted his eyes and stared deeply at the white figure, “That isn’t like you usually are…Mad God, or whatever. Most of the time you directly eliminate me as soon as you spot one of my bodies. What are you planning?”
“Nothing much. I’m just exhausted of doing this cat and mouse game with you for eons.” The Mad God said flatly, “Although I hate you, I just want this to end and we could finally have peace…”
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!” Bog laughed so hard that started to roll on the ground, “Oh my~ that’s the best you joke you ever told me.” Bog swept the few tears beneath his eyes from laughing too much, “You might want peace, but… who say that I want, that I wish, for peace?”
“You…” The Mad God almost lost control of his emotions for a second before helplessly sighing, “You really want to go through this all the way, huh.”
“Yes, I won’t be satisfied with another outcome different from one of us perishing.” Bog said without a change on his smiling expression.
“…” The Mad God glanced at Bog for a second before swiftly moving his hand.
Seeing that Mad God was about to make a move, Bog looked at Neo and said playfully, “This won’t be the last time you will hear of me, Daemon~ I’ll come after you soon enough, bye~”
*Boom*
With a wave of his hand, Mad God made Bog become nothing more than a purple cloud that soon drifted along the wind.
The powerful Bog that Neo was sure that even on his peak form like when he faced Tartarus he wouldn’t be able to win against that monstrosity, was evaporated just like that by the lonely white figure hovering above the ruins of the destroyed city.
Before Neo could recover from being stunned by the sheer power that the Mad God showed him, he saw that the world around him was distorting.
[What’s happening?] He asked himself. But then he remembered what Bog said, and stopped being worried.
As the owner of the dimension, Bog had to constantly pour mana to maintain the place, but now that he was gone, the dimension was destabilizing and would soon collapse.
“…” The Mad God absentmindedly looked at the collapsing dimension before saying in a low and lonely tone to Neo, “I’ll bring you back now.”
With those words, he snapped his fingers and a blinding white light flashed from him.
…
When Neo opened his eyes again, he was at his living room again, but now completely alone and there not a single trace that Bog had been there, it felt like everything that happened was only a dream.
Of course Neo could tell that it wasn’t a dream, after all, his clothes still had a huge hole on his chest from which could been the bloodied injury left by Bog’s merciless punch.
Neo sighed in relief and immediately collapsed in the wooden ground with a loud thud.
All his ribs were broken and even his skull was somewhat cracked from Bog pressuring his head with the foot.
Even though he was unafraid of death, he didn’t want to die before completing his revenge.

Only after that would he happily accept his death and all punishments that await him.
Finding himself in safety and away from huge pressure coming from both Bog and Mad God, Neo couldn’t help but sigh in relief despite the grievous injuries.
Neo closed his eyes and tried to control use his Law of Darkness, but…
[It is still sealed…] Neo’s face twisted as he felt no connection with that small dark sphere deep inside his soul.
He tried to use dark magic, but the result was the same, there was no effect it didn’t matter how many times he chanted.
Since dark magic didn’t work, he changed for something else.
{Candlelight}
He chanted a simple Tier 1 Light Magic, and unexpectedly, it worked.
A small ball of light appeared above Neo’s spread out hand and illuminated the dark living room.
[Well, my other expertise is still working…] Neo smiled as his eyelids became heavier and heavier.
