The God Virus - Chapter 362: A Mother, A Hero (5)
“It’s okay, don’t be scared. Mommy’s here. Mommy will protect you.” She also didn’t forget to whisper softly into his ears, not forgetting to comfort him even in this type of situation.
“Haha… is that so? I don’t believe it! I’m confident you’ve been fucked over and over again. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter now.”
Suddenly reaching his hand, he grabbed her bag while mouthing with a smirk, “Both your body and the Red-crystal will be mine now!”
Hearing this claim, however, instantly made Hu Yuexin’s face go extremely pale in absolute fear. A type of fear she’d never felt before.
Now, her feeling of terror wasn’t because of being scared of Fan Tong or losing the purity of her body. No, she was only horrified at the concept of losing the Red-crystal which was going to help her son!
Her most precious son!!!
“No! I won’t give it to you! You’d have to kill me first!” Declaring that, she refused to let go of her bag like there was no tomorrow for her.
By now, Fan Tong was grinning from ear to ear as he pulled the bag with all his might, but much to his dismay, he realized he couldn’t snatch the bag from her no matter how much force he put behind his pull. This immediately annoyed him a great deal as he kicked her in the stomach, thus successfully getting his hands on the bag.
“N-no… anything… a-anything but that. P-please, give it back.” While writhing in pain on the floor as she tried her best to protect her kid, she murmured.
“Hahaha…” Ripping the bag apart, he emptied everything out on the asphalt before picking the Red-crystal, “I have a Red-crystal now! I can also transform into an Abnormal! Yes!”
Next, throwing the obtained Red-crystal into his car, he offered, “Come on, stand up and follow me willingly. I’ll take you to one of the empty mansions my family has around here. I’ll knock you a few dozen times before sending you away to the city together with your son.”
“I-I’d rather die!” Screamed Hu Yuexin helplessly, “give it back!”
“Hahaha…” not paying her any heed whatsoever, however, Fan Tong strolled before her and tried princess carry her to the car forcefully.
Slap~
But faced with a slap and an intense struggle instead resulted in Fan Tong being blinded in rage.
“You!” He once again jumped at her only to chance upon her nonstop struggle once more.
She aimlessly and repetitively kicked, punched, slapped, etc. And seeing this, one thing was apparent… the fact that she wasn’t willing to be moved and violated in the least.
Regrettably, however, many wounds and injuries were showing up all over her body. It seemed Fan Tong wasn’t one to give up either.
“Slut! Just come while I’m offering nicely!” Enraged at her unwavering grapple, that was the only words Fan Tong could voice in return.
“N-no… never.” As blood was dripping from many parts of her body, she powerlessly lay on the ground, however, her eyes were still shining in a determined glimmer. She wasn’t going to give up until her last breath.
To be honest, even now she wasn’t scared of this scum Fan Tong in front of her. What she was worried about was the fact that she hadn’t heard a single sound uttered by her child since a while ago. That nearly pushed her into the brink of having a heart attack right there.
Still, having no time to check on him due to the persistent Fan Tong, she could only continue fighting while crying at the same time.
This process went on until the Chinese beauty’s eyes fell upon a sharp object right before her. An object that had fallen from her bag when Fan Tong had emptied it out on the asphalt. Her small knife which she carried with herself everywhere she went.
Being a single mother with no man to protect her, this was one of the measures she had taken in order to protect herself if she ever experienced any type of danger.
Anyhow, the second her eyes fell on the object, resolved like never before, a brutal light went through her eyes as she seized it before lunging it at his leg.
Thrust!
“Ahhhhhhh…”
Immediately, the weird sound of metal penetrating flesh reverberated around the area as a wailing Fan Tong fell on the ground with his leg already starting to bleed.
“Y-y-y-you! B-bitch… Ahhhhhhh…” trembling at the sight of the amount of blood escaping from his own body, Fan Tong started screaming again.
“Young master!!!” Simultaneously, two people rushed at them from within the car behind. They were Fan Tong’s bodyguards who had been commanded to watch to this moment.
Nevertheless, running before him and seeing the amount of blood gushing out of his foot, they realized the gravity of the situation as both of them stared at Hu Yuexin with pure killing intent.
Yet before they could even attack Hu Yuexin, Fan Tong ordered them to take him to a hospital asap, “You fucktards! Take me to the hospital! Now!!! Ahhhh!!!”
With that, having received their orders and understanding Fan Tong was going to be in danger unless they took him to see a doctor quickly, they picked him up, placed him within one of the cars before scurrying away.
While one of them drove the car at the back, the other drove the one at the front. And just like that, they soon disappeared from the scene.
As they left and the lighting of the cars disappeared, total darkness fell upon the surroundings as Hu Yuexin remained on the side of the road with many injuries covering her body. The little kid had also long gone quiet and unmoving.
“Sob… sob, waah… someone, a-anyone, pl-please… help.” She begged for help for a few minutes only to be met with no assistance whatsoever. She was currently in the middle of nowhere with no car passing the road. Moreover, she was almost on the verge of passing out due to the injuries and the horrible experience she had just gone through, but she knew she couldn’t pass out right now, or else her son’s fate would be truly tragic. If he was still alive that is.
In the end, remembering her phone had also been within her bag, she slowly started searching all around herself within the starless pitch-black night.
Soon, her hands grabbed something like a paper, but she understood it wasn’t her phone, so she continued her scout further until ultimately, she touched something which felt like her phone.
Grasping it at once, she pressed a button as the dim light of its screen was turned on.
However, what she saw next forced her to fall into despair. Because she realized the screen had been cracked very badly. And although it was emitting a white light, she could see nothing from it. This meant that she could neither call someone nor ask for any help.
‘What do I do… What to do… how do I save my son… no… I need to do something-‘ internally, she was going crazy as she was experiencing intense desperation.
And it was then, as she was randomly pushing the touch screen of her phone in anguish and distress, she heard the sound of numbers being pressed.
‘Ah… although the screen is broken, it’s touch function is still working! I can call someone!!!’ With a ray of light shining upon her tragic night, she deliberated about the question of who to call.
But then… she realized she couldn’t recall anyone’s number.
‘Damn it, who even memorizes someone’s number in this day and age.’ She pondered in gloom as more tears, blood, and snot covered her face.
It was also at this exact moment when the dim light of her screen fell upon the piece of paper she had chanced upon before… the contact information that man had given her!!!
Once again filled with much hope, not realizing calling the cops or an ambulance would’ve been much easier, imagining the possible locations of the numbers on her broken screen, she gradually typed one number after another.
Beep, beep, beep, beep…
Moments later, a familiar voice that felt like the sound of an angel right now was heard from the other side of the line, “Hello?”
Not wasting any seconds, wailing loudly, she responded stutteringly while trembling nonstop, “P-please… rescue my son. He’s… I-I don’t even know if he’s still a-alive… waaaah, my son, sob, pwease, s-save him… m-my poor babyyy-”
Pronouncing those incoherent words with great difficulty while refusing to let go of her child, already way over her limits, dropping on the hard asphalt, she collapsed.
