Night fell upon the earth, and the light of a torch lit the path before them.
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”
Holding Hands
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”
“No, it’s just an exchange of different educational ideals, it’s not anything serious.” Upon reaching their room, Lu Xiaobei came to realise they had been holding hands the entire way, and naturally let go. From her pocket, she then fished out the room key and opened the door, but not before making way for Xiaoya to enter first.
“We’ll be on the mountain for a month. Like if the third years start classes early, we don’t need to go back. Plus, everyone will be celebrating New Year’s, and the town won’t be open for traffic until the seventh day of the lunar month, so it’s unlikely there’ll even be a driver to send people out.” Lu Xiaobei stared at Xiaoya curiously, “Didn’t you know that?”
Xiang Yi put down the container, then went on to say, “Yichen and I are staying in room 202, it’s the one right opposite yours, so come drop by whenever you’re free, okay?” Mo Yichen and Xiang Yi were roommates, and she had a quiet and cold sister kind of demeanour, completely different from Xiang Yi’s own of being filled with charm. Yichen’s style did not follow the now popular Korean beauty trend, instead her skin was pale and smooth, with the features of a classic beauty, and with a temperament that was cold and quiet, her being akin to that of a snow lotus in winter.
Yu Xiaoya was freaking out. “My parents didn’t tell me anything! They both get along with one another, they don’t look like they want a divorce; and they both both work at large state owned enterprises, so it’s not possible for both of them to bankrupt at the same time…”
Xiaoya looked at the black shadow under Mo Yichen’s eyes, understanding where she was coming from. As first years, for them, the final exams of the semester, will place the the students with the most outstanding scores into the competition class. This makes it possible for them to enter the local Olympiad exams, as well as giving them a way of taking the college entrance exams. All the students with outstanding academic records wanted to give their all, and this was even more true for someone like Mo Yichen.
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” Xiaoya felt like an idiot, did she really need someone to explain words like those?
Having heard this, Xiaoya, from the corner of her eye, took a peek at their joined hands. The act seeming to be some sort of agreement of the two being good friends, it’s existence prompting all the anger in Xiaoya’s heart immediately fade away.
She now felt a bit unhappy, but being ignored was something she had long grown accustomed to, so it wasn’t something that made her angry. Besides, Lu Xiaobei was the most popular girl at school, all the guys and girls wanted to be close to her, and that being the case was a more natural turn of events. If Lu Xiaobei was just a little more outstanding than others, it would’ve garnered jealousy, but with the way she could annihilate others in ever regard one could fathom, it made it that others could only look up to her instead.
“Yo, Captain, did you and little junior know each other before now?” Xiaoya and Lu Xiaobei unknowingly upped their pace, and soon found themselves at the front of the group. So upon seeing their entwined hands, Gao Heng stated in surprise, “At school, I rarely ever saw Captain go to the toilet or even walk hand in hand with other girls.”
“Captain, what’s wrong? Am I disturbing you?” Xiang Yi asked seeing Lu Xiaobei close her laptop.
Xiang Yi was a second year student, while Mo Yichen was a first, but the two were also the backbone of the student union, so they had known each other long before. Xiang Yi was a bit curious abut something though, so she then asked the other: “Yichen, why are you at winter camp? Don’t your parents want you to stay with them for New Year’s?”
Hearing this, Xiang Yi paused, giving Lu Xiaobei a few tentative glances. She then line of sight onto the hard to read Mo Yichen, figuring she might as well stay.
Promptng Xiang Yi to reply: “When my dad was still here, he’d take me on trips all over. Camping, diving, and horseback riding were all things I did before I was even turned seven.”

Xiang Yi: “My dad was an extreme sports enthusiast, and when I was seven, he had decided he wanted to go conquer Mount Everest too. But, because of an avalanche, the only one conquered was him instead.”
Lu Xiaobei only smiled at him for a bit, giving him no answer to his prior question.
Captain likes ’em a bit dumb, noted
Lu Xiaobei gave a hum in response, not saying anything more, now turning to go sit on the chair before switching her laptop on and beginning to type.
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” Xiaoya felt like an idiot, did she really need someone to explain words like those?
“I don’t dislike this little brother of mine, and I know my parents were looking forward to having him for a long time. But the insulation at out house isn’t very good, so every night when he cries, he can wake me up three or four times in one night.” Maybe Mo Yichen had been holding these words inside for a long time, or perhaps the tranquillity of the night had the power to make a person’s heart more tender, nonetheless, Mo Yichen added, “Our family has a small house that’s not far from my house or the school, it only has one room, so I had talked to my dad about me going there to stay.”
“But in the end, my dad told me that because my brother was born, our family had run into some financial issues, so they ended up renting out that place instead.” Mo Yichen then continued, “I can’t accept something like that. That was the house my grandma had lived in for decades. I spent my childhood there—many of our family’s memories are there. When my grandma passed away, she had left that house to me, and I don’t want any strangers living there. I even had a huge fight with my parents about this.”
Having heard this, Xiaoya, from the corner of her eye, took a peek at their joined hands. The act seeming to be some sort of agreement of the two being good friends, it’s existence prompting all the anger in Xiaoya’s heart immediately fade away.
But Xiaoya was not the only one bored at the moment, as from outside the the door of room 201, a very quick stream of knocks had sounded.
Xiaoya, not thinking, gave the ditzy reply, “Congratulations then?”
Yu Xiaoya’s IQ immediately dropped to that of a six year old child, “C-could… could it be that my parents are having a second child? Could they think I’m too stupid and just don’t want me any more?”
“Camping?” Xiaoya asked, the continued: “I’ve never been camping before?”
Lu Xiaobei and Xiaoya’s beds were close, so Xiaobei reached over and pressed Xiaoya’s shoulder to tell her to not speak.
“I can only eat a little.” Xiang Yi replied, then added: “If only we could’ve spent the night camping on the mountain.”
Lu Xiaobei reached to pulled out her chair for the other girl, then said, “Fine, let’s all talk.” Seeing Xiaoya cheer happily because of this, Lu Xiaobei couldn’t help the slight upwards curve of her lips.
Xiaoya was about to put on her slippers to get up, but seeing her, Yu Xiaobei spoke up from beside her, “I’ll go.” From the other side of the room, taking only three steps, Lu Xiaobei soon opened the door.
When they returned to the building, contrary to everyone’s expectation, Miss Xu was standing in wait at the entrance. After she counting the number of students, she simply made everyone return directly to their rooms to rest.
Having heard the question, Mo Yichen only stared into the darkness beyond the window, her eyes seeming to focus on nothing as she then spoke. “My parents made me come here. They did it because they were worried my studies might be disturbed if I stayed at home.”

But before Xiaoya turned the corner to walk to the second floor, she heard the sharp voice of Miss Xu ring out, “You not only took them up the mountain, but you even brought them back this late?! If something went wrong up there, you realise you’re the one who’d have to take responsibility for it, right?!”
Lu Xiaobei looked at the poor girl reeling in despair next to her, comforting her by saying, “No they’re not, and you’re not stupid.”
“It’s not like there little kids, and they look like decent kids to me too. So nothing would’ve gone wrong. Winter camp is only a month long. If they spend everyday cooped up in self-study classes, when camp is over, most of them wouldn’t even be able to remember their classmates’ faces. So what’s the point of doing any of this then?” Mr. Qi also explained.

Promptng Xiang Yi to reply: “When my dad was still here, he’d take me on trips all over. Camping, diving, and horseback riding were all things I did before I was even turned seven.”
And outside it, were the smiling faces of two girls.
“You’re just a first year, the homework you get isn’t enough to drive you crazy, right?” Since the new school year had begun, Xiang Yi had once seen Yichen’s father, he was driving his car and dropping her off at school. He had helped open the car door for her, and even carried her book bag too. He seemed like a cow licking her calf, taking care of his daughter with the utmost of love and care. So how could someone like him be willing to let his daughter spend New Year’s Eve in this small mountain valley?
Lu Xiaobei reached to pulled out her chair for the other girl, then said, “Fine, let’s all talk.” Seeing Xiaoya cheer happily because of this, Lu Xiaobei couldn’t help the slight upwards curve of her lips.

“No way, it’ fine. My family bought me a lot of fruits. Plus, I heard Captain likes grapes so I just…” Even though Xiang Yi said these things to Xiaoya, her gaze to the contrary, every now and again, would flitter towards Lu Xiaobei.

“Are you going to take a bath now?” Lu Xiaobei went on to ask.

From her angle as well, Xiang Yi couldn’t see Mo Yichen’s face, yet she still did her best to comfort the other girl, saying, “The people who come to winter camp are those who have nowhere to go for the new year, and who have difficulties at home. After college entrance exams are over, and you go to university, you can move to a distant city, far far away. That annoying kid is not your son, so you can just move far away.”

Just as she was unable to take it any longer, and was thinking of putting on her slippers, the door opened wide, then Lu Xiaobei led two girls inside.

Even though Xiaoya doesn’t actually know what Mo Yichen’s grades were like, the other girl seems to be one of those pure-hearted, otherworldly people to her. The kind that just gave off the feeling of ‘she’s a top student!’
Xiaoya then whispered: “Are they fighting?”

“Are you going to take a bath now?” Lu Xiaobei went on to ask.
One of the girls had a straight bang haircut, and was carrying a container before turning to she look at Xiaoya with a smile and say, “Xiaoya, I washed some grapes and brought them over for you two.” The sound of that girl’s voice along with looks, were both especially cute. Plus, that soft and tender appearance of hers when she talked and smiled was so lovely, it made Xiaoya want to scoop her up in her arms and take a bite. How could someone be so cute!
Xiang Yi let out an oh, then continued by saying, “We won’t disturb you guys from getting some rest any longer, we’ll get going first.”

Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”
Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”
Somewhat puzzled? And somewhat daft? Yu Xiaoya asked: “We can’t go back home for New Year’s?”
And outside it, were the smiling faces of two girls.
“Are you going to take a bath now?” Lu Xiaobei went on to ask.
“No way, it’ fine. My family bought me a lot of fruits. Plus, I heard Captain likes grapes so I just…” Even though Xiang Yi said these things to Xiaoya, her gaze to the contrary, every now and again, would flitter towards Lu Xiaobei.
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” Xiaoya felt like an idiot, did she really need someone to explain words like those?
Yu Xiaoya: …
Mo Yichen still stared out the window, so Xiaoya could only see her profile during this time. Crystal-like tears now fell from her eyes, streaming down her cheek, trailing over her jaw before meeting their end after falling onto her skirt. Xiaoya had never witnessed a girl cry in such a way prior. There was no wailing, nor sobs; no sound, nor quivering. It was sight which simply compelled a person’s heart to ache.
“Captain, what’s wrong? Am I disturbing you?” Xiang Yi asked seeing Lu Xiaobei close her laptop.
Yu Xiaoya was freaking out. “My parents didn’t tell me anything! They both get along with one another, they don’t look like they want a divorce; and they both both work at large state owned enterprises, so it’s not possible for both of them to bankrupt at the same time…”
“We’ll be on the mountain for a month.
Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”
“I can only eat a little.” Xiang Yi replied, then added: “If only we could’ve spent the night camping on the mountain.”
Yu Xiaoya nodded while listening to Xian Yi from the side. Thinking too of consoling Mo Yichen, but… why does something not feel right?
Xiaoya felt herself stifle a breath, feeling she as if she inconsequential.
“It’s alright. Many years have already passed since then. Plus, I don’t really feel sad because of him all that much any more.” Xiang Yi then added, “Besides, my mom loves me a whole lot. She never even remarried and works really hard just to raise me. If I spent the winter vacation at home I would be all alone there, so that’s why I’m here at camp.”

Having heard the question, Mo Yichen only stared into the darkness beyond the window, her eyes seeming to focus on nothing as she then spoke. “My parents made me come here. They did it because they were worried my studies might be disturbed if I stayed at home.”
She now felt a bit unhappy, but being ignored was something she had long grown accustomed to, so it wasn’t something that made her angry. “But they’re high school students right now, so the only task they have is to focus on their studies. They’ll have decades to meet new people in the future, they…”
Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”

Mo Yichen now turned to look at the others, their expressions all seeming as if they thought the sky had fallen in her family, and only went on to say, “Last month, my little brother was born.”
Xiaoya also greeted Mo Yichen, then followed it by asking, “I have a lot of snacks with me, so would you guys like to have some?”
“I can only eat a little.” Xiang Yi replied, then added: “If only we could’ve spent the night camping on the mountain.”
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”
Xiaoya, not thinking, gave the ditzy reply, “Congratulations then?”
Somewhat puzzled? And somewhat daft? Yu Xiaoya asked: “We can’t go back home for New Year’s?”

“Camping?” Xiaoya asked, the continued: “I’ve never been camping before?”
“Camping?” Xiaoya asked, the continued: “I’ve never been camping before?”

Lu Xiaobei and Xiaoya sat on their beds, while Mo Yichen and Xiang Yi sat on the chairs, the four all nibbling on snacks and tearing apart fruits as they talked about everything under the sun. From the drinks served in the cafeteria, to the Statue of Liberty in New York; from the big yellow dog by the back gate of the school, to the kangaroos hopping around in the land down under…
Promptng Xiang Yi to reply: “When my dad was still here, he’d take me on trips all over. Camping, diving, and horseback riding were all things I did before I was even turned seven.”
But before Xiaoya turned the corner to walk to the second floor, she heard the sharp voice of Miss Xu ring out, “You not only took them up the mountain, but you even brought them back this late?! If something went wrong up there, you realise you’re the one who’d have to take responsibility for it, right?!”
Somewhat puzzled? And somewhat daft? Yu Xiaoya asked: “We can’t go back home for New Year’s?”
Lu Xiaobei looked at the poor girl reeling in despair next to her, comforting her by saying, “No they’re not, and you’re not stupid.”

Xiaoya, a bit confused, then asked curiously, “What do you mean by ‘when your dad was still here’?”
Xiaoya felt herself stifle a breath, feeling she as if she inconsequential.
Xiaoya gaze still lingered on her now empty hand, a feeling of disappointed nipping at her, while she then replied: “Uh no, it’s still too early for one.”
“Are you going to take a bath now?” Lu Xiaobei went on to ask.

Xiaoya was sitting on her bed, half leaning over, wanting very much to see what was going on. But Lu Xiaobei’s figure was blocking the view of the doorway, so Xiaoya couldn’t see the situation outside at all. Just as she was unable to take it any longer, and was thinking of putting on her slippers, the door opened wide, then Lu Xiaobei led two girls inside.

Holding Hands
“You’re just a first year, the homework you get isn’t enough to drive you crazy, right?” Since the new school year had begun, Xiang Yi had once seen Yichen’s father, he was driving his car and dropping her off at school. He had helped open the car door for her, and even carried her book bag too. He seemed like a cow licking her calf, taking care of his daughter with the utmost of love and care. So how could someone like him be willing to let his daughter spend New Year’s Eve in this small mountain valley?
Xiaoya also greeted Mo Yichen, then followed it by asking, “I have a lot of snacks with me, so would you guys like to have some?”
Xiang Yi let out an oh, then continued by saying, “We won’t disturb you guys from getting some rest any longer, we’ll get going first.”
Xiaoya also greeted Mo Yichen, then followed it by asking, “I have a lot of snacks with me, so would you guys like to have some?”
But Xiaoya was not the only one bored at the moment, as from outside the the door of room 201, a very quick stream of knocks had sounded.
“Are you going to take a bath now?” Lu Xiaobei went on to ask.
Lu Xiaobei gave a hum in response, not saying anything more, now turning to go sit on the chair before switching her laptop on and beginning to type.
“Camping?” Xiaoya asked, the continued: “I’ve never been camping before?”
Xiaoya was currently shocked. She never thought someone as sweet as Xiang Yi would have so many ups and downs in her life. She always thought such a girl would be loved by everyone she met, a girl to whom flowers would bloom on sight. She had thought a girl like her would spend everyday of her life living smoothly and carefree.”

Lu Xiaobei only smiled at him for a bit, giving him no answer to his prior question.
Lu Xiaobei and Xiaoya’s beds were close, so Xiaobei reached over and pressed Xiaoya’s shoulder to tell her to not speak.
And outside it, were the smiling faces of two girls.
“No way, it’ fine. My family bought me a lot of fruits. Plus, I heard Captain likes grapes so I just…” Even though Xiang Yi said these things to Xiaoya, her gaze to the contrary, every now and again, would flitter towards Lu Xiaobei.

Yu Xiaoya’s IQ immediately dropped to that of a six year old child, “C-could… could it be that my parents are having a second child? Could they think I’m too stupid and just don’t want me any more?”
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”

“No, why don’t you stay for a while?” Xiaoya wanted to talk about something else to overshadow the previous topic. Besides, it was still early and not even close to the time the captain had gone to bed the day before. Everyone who went back to their rooms, were all just looking at their computers or phones.
Xiaoya was currently shocked. She never thought someone as sweet as Xiang Yi would have so many ups and downs in her life. Yu Xiaoya was now sitting on her bed, her hands tucked beneath her chin, as she looked out the window, where beyond it was only darkness, and nothing could be seen. Only ten minutes had passed since the left the mountain, yet she was already missing the fun that was had.
“Captain, what’s wrong? Am I disturbing you?” Xiang Yi asked seeing Lu Xiaobei close her laptop.

If they spend everyday cooped up in self-study classes, when camp is over, most of them wouldn’t even be able to remember their classmates’ faces. So what’s the point of doing any of this then?” Mr. Qi also explained.

When my grandma passed away, she had left that house to me, and I don’t want any strangers living there. I even had a huge fight with my parents about this.”
Lu Xiaobei and Xiaoya sat on their beds, while Mo Yichen and Xiang Yi sat on the chairs, the four all nibbling on snacks and tearing apart fruits as they talked about everything under the sun. From the drinks served in the cafeteria, to the Statue of Liberty in New York; from the big yellow dog by the back gate of the school, to the kangaroos hopping around in the land down under…
Even though Xiaoya doesn’t actually know what Mo Yichen’s grades were like, the other girl seems to be one of those pure-hearted, otherworldly people to her. The kind that just gave off the feeling of ‘she’s a top student!’
Lu Xiaobei only smiled at him for a bit, giving him no answer to his prior question.
Having heard the question, Mo Yichen only stared into the darkness beyond the window, her eyes seeming to focus on nothing as she then spoke. “My parents made me come here. They did it because they were worried my studies might be disturbed if I stayed at home.”
Mo Yichen now turned to look at the others, their expressions all seeming as if they thought the sky had fallen in her family, and only went on to say, “Last month, my little brother was born.”
Somewhat puzzled? And somewhat daft? Yu Xiaoya asked: “We can’t go back home for New Year’s?”
Xiaoya gaze still lingered on her now empty hand, a feeling of disappointed nipping at her, while she then replied: “Uh no, it’s still too early for one.”
Xiang Yi: “My dad was an extreme sports enthusiast, and when I was seven, he had decided he wanted to go conquer Mount Everest too. But, because of an avalanche, the only one conquered was him instead.”
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”
Lu Xiaobei gave a hum in response, not saying anything more, now turning to go sit on the chair before switching her laptop on and beginning to type.

Xiaoya, not thinking, gave the ditzy reply, “Congratulations then?”
“No way, it’ fine. My family bought me a lot of fruits. Plus, I heard Captain likes grapes so I just…” Even though Xiang Yi said these things to Xiaoya, her gaze to the contrary, every now and again, would flitter towards Lu Xiaobei.
Lu Xiaobei walked over to her bed and sat down, replying, “No. I had something I had to do, but I already finished it.”
Xiaoya then whispered: “Are they fighting?”

Xiang Yi let out an oh, then continued by saying, “We won’t disturb you guys from getting some rest any longer, we’ll get going first.”
Promptng Xiang Yi to reply: “When my dad was still here, he’d take me on trips all over. Camping, diving, and horseback riding were all things I did before I was even turned seven.”
“I can only eat a little.” Xiang Yi replied, then added: “If only we could’ve spent the night camping on the mountain.”
Xiaoya, not thinking, gave the ditzy reply, “Congratulations then?”
And outside it, were the smiling faces of two girls.
Hearing this, Xiang Yi paused, giving Lu Xiaobei a few tentative glances. She then line of sight onto the hard to read Mo Yichen, figuring she might as well stay.
Xiaoya felt herself stifle a breath, feeling she as if she inconsequential.
Lu Xiaobei and Xiaoya’s beds were close, so Xiaobei reached over and pressed Xiaoya’s shoulder to tell her to not speak.
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” Xiaoya felt like an idiot, did she really need someone to explain words like those?
But Xiaoya was not the only one bored at the moment, as from outside the the door of room 201, a very quick stream of knocks had sounded.
“It’s alright. Many years have already passed since then. Plus, I don’t really feel sad because of him all that much any more.” Xiang Yi then added, “Besides, my mom loves me a whole lot. Xiaoya was about to put on her slippers to get up, but seeing her, Yu Xiaobei spoke up from beside her, “I’ll go.” From the other side of the room, taking only three steps, Lu Xiaobei soon opened the door.
Lu Xiaobei looked at the poor girl reeling in despair next to her, comforting her by saying, “No they’re not, and you’re not stupid.”

After college entrance exams are over, and you go to university, you can move to a distant city, far far away. That annoying kid is not your son, so you can just move far away.”
“But they’re high school students right now, so the only task they have is to focus on their studies. They’ll have decades to meet new people in the future, they…”
“But they’re high school students right now, so the only task they have is to focus on their studies. They’ll have decades to meet new people in the future, they…”
Yu Xiaoya nodded while listening to Xian Yi from the side. Thinking too of consoling Mo Yichen, but… why does something not feel right?
Night fell upon the earth, and the light of a torch lit the path before them.
Having heard this, Xiaoya, from the corner of her eye, took a peek at their joined hands. The act seeming to be some sort of agreement of the two being good friends, it’s existence prompting all the anger in Xiaoya’s heart immediately fade away.
When they returned to the building, contrary to everyone’s expectation, Miss Xu was standing in wait at the entrance. After she counting the number of students, she simply made everyone return directly to their rooms to rest.
Xiang Yi let out an oh, then continued by saying, “We won’t disturb you guys from getting some rest any longer, we’ll get going first.”
Captain likes ’em a bit dumb, noted
Somewhat puzzled? And somewhat daft? Yu Xiaoya asked: “We can’t go back home for New Year’s?”
Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”
Xiaoya was flattered, but instead she replied, “You’re way too kind, Xiang Yi. You should eat them yourself.”
Yu Xiaoya was now sitting on her bed, her hands tucked beneath her chin, as she looked out the window, where beyond it was only darkness, and nothing could be seen. Only ten minutes had passed since the left the mountain, yet she was already missing the fun that was had.
“But in the end, my dad told me that because my brother was born, our family had run into some financial issues, so they ended up renting out that place instead.” Mo Yichen then continued, “I can’t accept something like that. But before Xiaoya turned the corner to walk to the second floor, she heard the sharp voice of Miss Xu ring out, “You not only took them up the mountain, but you even brought them back this late?! If something went wrong up there, you realise you’re the one who’d have to take responsibility for it, right?!”
Yu Xiaoya nodded while listening to Xian Yi from the side. Thinking too of consoling Mo Yichen, but… why does something not feel right?

Besides, even if you are a bit stupid, you’re so silly and cute they’ll never be able to let you go.
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” Xiaoya felt like an idiot, did she really need someone to explain words like those?
Yu Xiaoya’s IQ immediately dropped to that of a six year old child, “C-could… could it be that my parents are having a second child? Could they think I’m too stupid and just don’t want me any more?”

Yu Xiaoya was freaking out. “My parents didn’t tell me anything! They both get along with one another, they don’t look like they want a divorce; and they both both work at large state owned enterprises, so it’s not possible for both of them to bankrupt at the same time…”

Even though Xiaoya doesn’t actually know what Mo Yichen’s grades were like, the other girl seems to be one of those pure-hearted, otherworldly people to her. The kind that just gave off the feeling of ‘she’s a top student!’
Yu Xiaoya’s IQ immediately dropped to that of a six year old child, “C-could… could it be that my parents are having a second child? Could they think I’m too stupid and just don’t want me any more?”
