The Gods Decree - Chapter 167 Anonymous Corpse Number Two
“I’m guessing you won’t enlightening this Mouse as to the identity of the puppeteer. A dying wish perhaps. What’s the harm?”
As Taf spoke the glowing red prism continuously irradicated all in its path as it made its way unhindered into the city.
Buildings that once towered into the skies were now piles of ash that blew with the wind.
Their ashes covered the majority of the citizens who fleed for their lives to the center of the city. Guided by cultivators garbed in purple and black attire with their qi ignited.

Marco then casually responded as he flicked his finger slicing apart a demon beast that charged in his path. Seeing Marco unwillingness to disclose any information Taf could only smile while saying,
“Not willing to talk are we? How about a name for my records?”
He then summoned a parchment to his hand. Written at the top were a few lines with the contents:
{ Victim’s name: Anonymous Corpse Number One
Cause of death: Application of the Black Devouring Dust
Strength: Sixth Stage of Qi condensation
Mouse’s Strength: Mortal *Awesome*
Location: Marvel City
Difficulty: Negligible}
Glimpsing the parchment Marco was lost for words as to what to say. This youth’s actions were quite peculiar.
Before his death, he took out a parchment then requested his name for some supposed record keeping. Is this guy mentally defective in some capacity? Seeing the odd gaze given by Marco Taf then explained,
“I see there is a bit of confusion. You see I’ve always had a dream for my anecdotes to be known far and wide.
So I decided there is a need to provide accurate records. We wouldn’t want any misconstrued information, do we?
I of course only detail persons who would seemingly provide slight hindrance on my path.”
Taf’s words apparently only strengthen the notion in Marco’s mind that he was somewhat insane. It all made sense now. The reason as to why there was no fear when in his presence. Can the mentally insane be judged according to the normal standards?
“So how about it victim? What name will you have me log into my records?”
BOOOM!
A suffocating pressure was felt by all around as they were unwillingly planted to the ground. Malnor who was close by saw himself unable to move an inch as he groveled on the pavement.
Even his breathing seemed an impossibility. So too did the others of the Dark Abylis Sect, including Ava and Malgrey.
This suppression did not come from the red prism as they all forcibly turned their heads to look at the source. They simultaneously screamed in horror,
“Lord Realm!”
The suppression came from the man in all black that stood before Taf. All that were stampeding previously were flat on the ground. Those who were in close proximity to the lord were crushed to paste by his aura alone.
Before him, they all feared for Taf’s life who felt the brunt of his aura. If they had known it was a lord realm that was the adversary at the time, they would have never left his side.
Sure they all, without doubt, would have died but at the very least in their last moments, they would have been able to offer some assistance. As negligible as it might have been.
Then Ava and Malnor remembered Taf’s words while they were within Kathy’s home. He had suspected there was a lord realm involved.
They recalled their reactions from the night. What if they had listened to him and forfeited the mission. Wouldn’t their deceased squadmates resist their fates?
Inside they ached but what occurred can never be changed. What matters now is to do what they can, offering any assistance they possibly could to Taf at this moment.
As they tried to ignite their qi to its limited in a bid to go against any sense of rational, contending with a lord realm.
They saw Taf who was feeling the brunt of the Lord’s aura, do something daring. While shaking his head he summoned a pen to his hand.
“I take that as no, therefore in my records, you will be dubbed, Anonymous Corpse Number Two.”
As the pen dissipated from his grasped he then coldly stared at Marco before…
BOOM!
Qi spiraled around his body as he then flashed his hand. It was as though he rid all around of the nuisance that was Marco’s aura.
Soon they felt as though their limbs were truly their own as the suppression lifted. All looked to the youth with their mouths aghast. Especially the members of the Dark Abylis Sect.
They all stared at each other as words were basically none existent. To have lifted the suppression of the Lord realm one has to have equal or greater power.
There is no way this can be done by someone also within the qi realm. That meant the seeming impossible which was one thing, Taf was within the realm of lords.
Is it even possible for there to be a lord realm at such an age? This is inconceivable, right? While they were in shock it was incomparable to what was felt by Marco as he eyed the youth before him.
????Elemental Art(Earth) Iron Body????
Slowly there were visible changes to Taf’s body as an iron sheen replaced his skin inch by inch, before he was completely made of iron. Through his iron lips, he then uttered,
“Previously you threatened me, Now that’s a no no..”
His left arm then formed in a fist as with a flicker he appeared before Marco.
Bam!
He attempted to punch him in the face but his attack was foiled by Marco who met his strike with one of his own. Yet as Marco thought he had everything in control he felt a strike to this gut.
Looking down he saw Taf’s right fist which pummelled into his stomach. He was then sent spiraling into the air as he coughed out blood.
Soon all saw black bolts of lightning twisted around Taf’s iron body as he tilted his head upwards looking at Marco who was reeling through the air.
Boom!
His body was launched from the ground as he tore through the skies. Marco was so flabbergasted he had no clue what was occurring. The situation had changed unexpectantly so quickly, he was stumped for an answer.
Soon he felt a presence behind him within finding his footing in the air. A mere few meters from the red glowing prism’s.
Bam! Bam!
Taf once more fed Marco’s body with punches. Seeing it was becoming a one-sided battle from the start Marco became enraged.
????Cultivation Art ( Wind Element) Combat style of lightweight panda????
Soon winds spiraled around Marco’s body. There was a transformation in process as the twisted winds took the shape of a translucent black and white panda. This startled Taf as it was the first he saw such a technique.
ROAR!
The art made its presence felt through the skies while shredded all insight. Looking at the art Taf then came to the conclusion that this was the higher means by which those above the qi realm fought.
Bam!
Marco who was encased in the panda negated one of Taf’s punches before sending a kick of his own. Now it was Taf’s turn to be at the receiving end of an assault. He was sent flying through the skies after being hit.
Those below could hardly see as the two engaged in battle above the city that was now under siege, they were moving at apparent lightning speeds.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Taf couldn’t care less what technique Marco employed as he continuously struck him with a barrage of attacks.
The two were unrelenting as they engaged in close combat within the skies. Soon visible signs of injures showed on each other’s body.
Puk! Puk!
They both spat blood before separating. Taf then with a smile wiped the trickling of blood from the sides of his mouth. Then uttering to Marco in the distance.
“How good it feels to be engaged in a true battle. I have missed the thrill of such things.”
His words caused a smile to show on Marco’s face.
“Tell me, what is a fellow peak early-stage lord realm doing within Starlight City? Did the Dark Abylis Sect get wind of our plan?”
He then asked telepathically. Afterall he felt he was engaged in conversation with one in the lord realm. His words caused Taf’s eyes to crease at the corners as he found it curious this man was at the peak early stages of the lord realm.
Having not yet arrived at the lord realm, Taf then spoke out saying,
“Now look who is asking the questions. Tell you what, give me the means by which to deactivate the prism and I’ll try to let your death be a bit less miserable. I see it as a bargain.”
A bit of laughter was heard in Taf’s words as the smile slowly faded from Marco’s face. He coldly responded,
“I thought we would offer each other some form of mutual respect. After all, to arrive at our stage is no small feat.”
If he truly knew what cultivation the person who stood before was. Would he hang is head in shame knowing at this moment he was in combat with a mere eighth-stage qi cultivator? Taf however, would not dose his flame as he felt it quite amusing.
His laughter only caused Marco to become even more infuriated.
