The Gods Decree - Chapter 169 Blue Rose
While wiping the blood from the sides of Taf’s mouth May uttered,
“Well, aren’t you battered and bruise.”
This only brought a smile to the face of Taf who stretched before replying,
“Just another day on the job. Nothing, in particular, to worry about. It seems the other person within Kathy’s home at the time was a Lord Realm also. Isn’t that surprising?”
They both looked below seeing Marco finally out of the crater. He resembled a person who had been continuously pulverized, his eyes spoke volumes. If looks could kill they both would be paying a visit to the mortician.
“How do we then tackle this new impending hurdle? Have you assessed their strengths fully?”
May questioned as Taf made some mental notes of all that occurred. He then responded by saying,
“Of the two the first I fought mentioned he was a peak-early stage Lord realm. Apparently he thought i was the same.
The newcomer, however, seems stronger than his compatriot. By comparing both’s strength I’m guessing he is a Lower-mid level lord realm.”
Taf then continued,
“I’ll tackle this new foe. It seems holding back in the previous battle was more advantageous than I thought.
Initially, I saw the need to reserve strength for the impended danger of the glowing prism. As for the older one, I am fully confident you can handle him .”
It seemed May agreed to Taf plans as she nodded her head. If the newcomer was as powerful as Taf stated it would be quite the task for her to get a footing in a battle against him.
She always trusted Taf’s judgment. If he says he can handle a matter, he certainly will.
Though they were now in a life and death battle, May could only smile seeing a part of their dream being fulfilled before her eyes.
Battling side by side, knowing their trust can be fully placed in the other. No matter what adversary they faced.
“I have faith in you.”
She heard Taf saying as warmth blossomed inside her.
????????????????????????
“I can’t fight that bastard anymore. It is quite evident he was holding back in our previous battle. If I were to dare challenge him once more my death is a certainty.
I’ll leave handling him to you. As for the woman, from her attack, I sense she is a bit weaker. Whichever one of us defeats our opponent first will offer the other assistance.”
Though the weaker of the two it was quite apparent that in his capacity as older brother Marco was the one in charge. Benzalo quietly assessed the two in the skies before replying,
“Just, don’t underestimate her.” He cautioned.
While all made plans on how to proceed, there was an object which was unrelenting in its pursuit of irradicating all in its path to ash.
As the minutes ticked by the city’s circumference shrunk in volumes, while the death toll arrived in the thousands. So many of its once lively citizens had died. There weren’t charred remains but blowing ash as all made their way into its center.
The once-grand city was but a fraction of what it previously was.
“Hurry but proceed in an orderly manner.”
Ava calmly spoke to those who charged towards her. Feeling the pressure from her qi which was in full show they all acted according to her words.
Still, her eyes lingered in the skies where she saw both Taf and May floating. In her mind, she wondered where did the sect find these two. Deeming them as genius was an insult to their standings. They were simply freaks of nature.
All from the Dark Abylis Sect heralded her sentiments as this battle had reached a level that was unprecedented.
????????????????????????
“Let’s go!”
Benzalo uttered to his brother Marco who had now fully composed himself. He looked at May while observing the interaction between her and Taf.
This told him volumes as now he knew she was of significant importance to him.
“I’ll crush her before his eyes.”
He fumed out loud before they both launched themselves in the air.
Boom! The grounds cracked under their weight.
????Cultivation Art (Earth Element) Heavyweight Panda????
Dust particle formed around Marco’s body similar to when he previously used his wind element. However, now the panda was twice its original size and enforced with earth armor.
Originally he had intended to use to this as his ace against Taf but he never quite expected the onslaught at the end.
Seeing the two making their way towards them Taf knew it was now time to become truly serious.
Looking at the prism he acknowledged the quicker he ended it, the more potential lives could be saved. After all, what would be the point of a victory if all that remains is ash?
“We need to end this as quickly as possible.”
Looking from the skies at the increased suffering, May became slightly anxious for the general populous who were at risk.
“Be careful. You see his personality, so therefore you now know his weakness.”
Beside her, Taf cautioned with a bit of encouragement as black lightning spiraled around his body awaiting the two who were seconds away.
“Yeah, I see it.”
Boom! May’s qi ignited, as if an omen, hundreds of clouds started to form. The newly developed clouds suddenly broke into a deluge of whirling snow. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.
Below something odd occurred as there now a mixture of snow and ash was falling on all who sought to refuge.
They both then shredded through the skies as now visible in Taf’s iron hands were two war hammers. In May’s hands was her golden bow and arrow. In unison, they called forth,
????Elemental Art (Light) Illumination????
Taf then smashed his hammers that glowed white radiance together while May shot an arrow illuminated at the tips into the torrent snow.
Boom! Their attacks exploded simultaneously with blinding light. Below all dared not look in the skies that in comparison made the sun appear as though it was hidden behind the moon.
The ones who felt the brunt of the attack were Benzalo and Marco who were charging upward. They hurriedly tried their best to shield their now vulnerable eyes.
WhacK!
A hammer met the chest of Benzalo who spiraled through the skies after the blast. While Marco was pummelled in the opposite direction by the kick of an iron leg on his already aching back.
Swish!
An arrow made of ice smashed against Marco’s armor as he was sent by Taf’s kick in the direction of May.
????Elemental Art ( Water) Ice tomb????
Not having enough time to react Marco saw the husk of his cultivation art emitting frost as ice slowly grew encasing him inside. The temperatures plummeted so much that he began to lose the feeling in his right side.
” Fuck this! I have had enough!” He yelled.
Roar! His art as if alive bellowed aiming to smash apart its confinement.
Boom! Boom! Through Marco’s action, the now heavyweight panda ripped apart the ice as it fell below in clumps. Now Marco’s rage had truly hit the ceiling.
In his eyes was only blood as he stared at May who was composed in the downpour of snow which contrasted beautifully with her silver hair.
There was only one thing he wanted at this moment. To behead her in front of her lover. This was how much hate had been formed in his heart for the two.
” I am going to kill you and throw your head to that lover of yours.”
He spewed some vile words in the direction of May.
Still, May kept a calm composure but the winds around her twisted so quickly causing the temperatures to drop even further.
“Well, you can try, in your dreams that is.”
May’s responded as her bow and arrow were discarded.
????Elemental Art(Water) Embodiment of Ice????
Soon harden ice spikes could be seen forming in her hands. There was something peculiar about May’s weapons as they appeared durable no different from any metal.
????Panda Berserk Mode????
Soon a brown spear formed in the paws of the panda with its eyes glowing green as Marco charged at the waiting May.
Cling! Cling!
At lightning speed, the two engaged in furious battles through the skies as an iron spear and ice spikes sought to determine the victor.
After a few minutes exchanging blows the two separated. Blood trickled from the sides of May’s mouth and her body also showed some ghastly cut.
Her right arm had been pierced by the spear as she grimaced in pain. Marco was no better off as he bled profusely. Due to the fact that he already had engaged in battle with Taf, every damage inflicted by May seemed twice as effective.
Yet he was happy realizing even in this state he was stronger than the woman before him. Soon he deactivated his art, though it increased his strength his speed suffered.
He then smirked at May who held her injured arm. Across the skies, he saw Taf going toe to toe with Benzalo however slight concern could be seen on his face while he watched the two engaged in battle.
Soon Marco saw a nail pierce through Taf shoulder having been distracted by his and May’s battle.
“Don’t kill him yet brother I have a little show in mind.”
He then sent a message to Benzalo as his mood was lifted. Soon he saw May putting on a brave face as she mustered all the strength she could igniting her qi.
Flicker…
She nervously turned around feeling a presence behind her. Marco then whispered in her ear,
“You’re not as skilled as he is, are you? To dare battle someone of my standing and be so amateur, it’s actually comedic.
Remember what I said? Let me now give him your head.”
“No please!”
Marco heard May’s plea for her life. This only added an extra layer of fulfillment in his heart, so intoxicating and sweet.
Puk!
He then pierced the spear through May’s skull. He laughed while seeing Taf finally realizing what had unfolded.
There he watched as tears fell from his eyes as a soul seemingly departed from his body. After which three nails pierce through Taf’s back while he aimed to rescue her.
“Brother you’re killing him too quickly. Allow me to have the killing strike.”
He spoke excitedly as Taf’s body was continuously bombarded with shots.
“Junior this was easier than we initially thought.”
He uttered to Benzalo who held Taf by the throat. While smiling Benzalo responded,
“Dare brother you can have the final kill.”
His words caused Marco to pause in his tracks as he then replied suspiciously,
“Wait.., I called you junior, why was there no retort? 1
You smile while giving me a prize kill. When did you lose that sense of morality you always had?”
Still, Benzalo smiled while saying,
“This is what you always wanted brother, Afterall this is your dream.”
Hearing the last words of his brother Marco felt a chill coursing through his body. From his gut, he felt something feasting on his organs while all it passed was frozen.
“Dream!”
He blurted as blood gushed out of his mouth. Soon all around him slowly faded as though it never were. Surrounding him were ten thousand beautiful blue rose petals that spiraled in unison.
Sitting in the lotus stance he saw a girl with silver hair.
” Even the vilest of creatures can become the most exquisite flower. Such is beautiful ice.” 1
At May’s words soon the foreign entity in Marco’s body started growing at a rapid pace devouring whole.
“When did you?”
Puk!
He looked down to see thorns ripping through his gut as he bled through all orifices. The last thing he saw was a beautiful blue rose seemingly carve from ice, it came through his mouth after ripping his throat to bits with its thorns as frost was emitted.
Blap!
His dead carcass fell to the ground filled with ash and snow.
