The Gods Decree - Chapter 185 Well. Hello
“A once in a thousand-year genius for the sect, not bad.”
Taf responded with a bit of curiosity after hearing about this individual.
This was quite the accomplishment for anyone within a sect the size of the Dark Abylis sect. With their average population being tens of thousands of disciples every year during that period of time.
“He is Jason, twenty-nine years old, grandson and true disciple of the Second Elder.” Luke ended by saying.
When luke mentioned his age Taf now understood why he gained such high praises. From what he knew the average person with the necessary prerequisites took at least twelve years within the ninth stage before they attempted ascending into the lord realm.
“Before I met you I thought he was the true meaning of a genius. However, you have already accomplished that feat at fifteen.”
Luke shook his head as he wondered what would Jason think if he were to know of this truth.
It’s inbred in a genius to be headstrong and aloof. Though he has never personally known him, Jason was no exception.
Everyone worshipped the floor which he walked on within the sect. If you were grown and taught you were the best there ever was. There is no denying you would expect all to think the same.
“No, you are still right. He is a genius by all accounts and my existence does not belittle that.”
Hearing Taf words caused the three to gaze awkwardly at him. By chance when did he become the humble type? However, Taf would not let them be any wiser to the fact that they all were at the same cultivation.
“Look its noon, guess the time flew by. I have an appointment and can’t be late so I will be on my way.”
Though he saw the looks on their faces Taf pretended as though he was oblivious while he made his way off into a crowd of purple, which were the disciples of the Dark Abylis Sect.
“I wonder where he is off to at this time?” Seeing Taf disappearing into the crowd Luke uttered.
“Who knows that guy is always up to something. It’s a pity he left in such a hurry i wanted to get some pointers from him. With the tournament around the corner, imagine our leap in strength if we had Taf as our personal trainer.
“Keep dreaming Lovren he would never agree to that. If we had the qi stones however I am sure we could negotiate a few sparring sessions.”
Luke replied. As he spoke all three looked within their pouches as they summoned all the qi stones they could muster.
“Ok, with our sums accumulated we have a grand total of 2132 Lqs.”
As Luke tallied the stones a wry smile could be seen on their faces. They highly doubted this would even garner a glance from Taf. This was a teen who defeated a lord realm and has all the spoils of war in his possession. This was truly a measly sum.
Then Cameron who always seemingly spoke at the opportune time based on his perspective uttered.
“You two are not thinking outside of the box. You’re both thinking of directly engaging Taf in negotiations. This is the worst means to deal with him.”
They both listened keenly to Cameron. Although they would not like to admit it, out of the five original members of Squad Malgrey, he was one of the best strategists. He then continued,
“To negotiate with Taf, well you have to negotiate with his compassionate side.”
With some underlined meaning behind his words, Cameron left the two in suspense.
“What the hell do you mean Cameron? As usual, you’re talking in parables damn it!”
Lovren without a doubt had no understanding of this underline meaning, however, the green-haired Luke paused realizing the meaning behind his words.
“Well don’t keep me in suspense.”
Discerning Luke had gotten the significance behinds Cameron’s words Lovren became even more infuriated, of the three his head was apparently made of stone.
“You’re referring to May. However, we do not have that type of relationship with her. In fact, come to think of it we’re by far closer to Taf.”
“Yeah that is true we don’t but guess who does…”
Cameron again hadthe two hanging on his words before they simultaneously shouted,
“Niesha!”
“You bloody genius. You should definitely open that mouth of yours more often.”
Lovren happily embraced Cameron in a bear hug having been caught up in the excitement. He was however swiftly pushed away by him.
“I know I tend to be quiet and probably haven’t said this out loud, but I.., I like women.”
Cameron uttered which caused Lovren to become red-faced in embarrassment as the ever-cool Luke could not help but lose his composure as he exploded into laughter.
” Fifteen years old and I’m already an elder. Isn’t that some irony for you. I guess I should swiftly change over to my elder’s attire for this boring meeting. I know May is definitely going to kill me this time.”
Taf uttered to himself as he made his way through the crowd.
It seems most of these disciples were excited about the upcoming tournament as they continuously openly challenged their rivals in order to gauge their strength.
Some could be seen rushing in an out of sect stores in order to trade qi stones for Arts and weaponry to upgrade their arsenal.
As he watched them with excitement displayed on their faces he then recalled he did not tally his loot from Starlight City.
“Damn all this time and I still haven’t gone back to the space rings of those two. I guess I should take a look when this meeting is through.”
As Taf made his way through the crowd he seemingly garnered attention without knowing it. Standing outside of a weaponry store with a newly bought sword was a young man. There he stood still as his hands shook violently. His face was covered in ache However one side was heavily bandaged, making him resemble a mummified corpse.1
“Why the hell are you shaking as you are Shaun?”
A burly older man who resembled him uttered. On his back was a broad saber embroidered in gold. Hearing the man’s words Shaun subconsciously felt for his face as though he was reliving the ordeal all over again.
It didn’t take long for the man to surmise what the speechless youth before him was trying to convey. His blood boiled as his heart yearned for vengeance. Two weeks ago he was told stories of a teen couple who humiliated his brother and some friends.
Without any seeming due cause or prior disagreement. After beating his brother to a pulp he heard details in which the male fiend rubbed his younger brother’s face against a rock, before spitting on all among the group.
They even pushed the limits as to make those lowly disciples who didn’t even have the minor requirements to be deemed as such dressed in grey, hurl vile epithets at them while they curled injured on the ground.
“What’s the hold-up?”
Another man who was identical in appearance uttered as he turned around realizing his two brothers had stopped. He too had a broad saber however his was embroidered in bronze.
“It seems we have found the culprit behind the little dweeb’s battering.”
His twin responded. With vengeance in his eyes, the man bellowed with a slap to the head of Shaun,
“Show me the bastard who dares!”
With haste, Shaun pointed to a youth who appeared to have not a care in the world. As he pointed he shivered in fright at the sight of the youth.
“You fucking waste! That little wimp is the one who battered you to a pulp.”
The twin with gold embroidered in his saber laughed as he looked on the youth who though muscular for his age was but an ant in his eyes. He actually even had the slight look of a saint as he curiously would look from time to time at the items his fellow disciples bought. for visiting.
In Shaun’s eyes, however, it was as though he was staring at the devil himself. He didn’t know he was this scared of the youth.
He thought the next time he saw this youth who called himself Sir Mouse, he would be laughing as he watched his brothers pummel him to paste.
Why was it that he was even more scared now though he currently had his brothers’ protection.
He then heard one of his brother’s voice as he instructed his lackeys.
“Earl.., bring that little shit over so I may break every one of his bones.”
The man named Earl at the ninth-stage made his way through the crowd with four others at the eighth-stage.
They ignited their qi which frightened the disciples who all gave them room to move. This was truly overbearing and caused a commotion as persons ran to see the cause.
When they saw them going toward a youth with black and brown dreads. There was only pity in their eyes as they knew in a few moments he would be but a dead man.
“Dweeb this might seem overbearing but remember this. In this world, whoever dares to raise arms against the Parkers. Well.., their arms will be but fond memories afterward.”
One of the twins uttered with an evil grin forming to the side of his cheeks. As the crowds hurriedly made way for the four with their qi stifling all, Taf still casual walked on his way.
This surprised all who saw, without a doubt, he must have heard the commotion and known to run. However, it was now too late as the four surrounded him.
Yet they were nearly floored by the words uttered by the youth. He said with a saintly smile displayed on his face.,
“Well.., Hello..!”
