Edited Version
The three of them looked on with various expressions on their faces Haruto was snickering with joy, Amano was face-palming himself and rolling his eyes while the star of our show, Tenshi, was looking on with a dead expression in his eyes.
“My name is Tenshi Ayama, ma’am. ” He said as he applied basic etiquette and kow- oh wait, this story isn’t settled in China, so he bowed instead.
“Ma’am? You look like a nice boy so call me auntie! Auntie Shibayi! ” The woman laughed and waved her hands at Tenshi.
“Okay, Auntie. ” Tenshi smiled rather downheartedly, looked at the men beside him and nodded. He then went ahead and sat on another sofa, far away from the television.
Haruto laughed and followed him while Amano once again sat down beside his mother.
Tenshi looked at his watch.
11:35 PM.
“Where’s Nero?”
“Nero?… Oh wait, I remember that he was waiting for you with some bank officials ” Haruto’s face expressed surprise as he suddenly remembered about Nero’s face.
“He’s outside the boardroom on the 19th floor ” After a slight pause, he said as he looked at the TV.
Tenshi shrugged. From all of their lax behaviour, he could see that the investors still weren’t here.
So much for being timely
Tenshi looked at the woman on the sofa, which he felt like she reminded him of his mother.
It was a pity that he didn’t even remember his mom’s face. Which he liked, due to the fact that, the only existing photos of her were in the hands of the police and they were of her bloody mashed corpse.
It was much better for him to forget her bloody corpse than have it regurgitate in his mind every hour.
Furthermore, other means all required him to go to the capital, which wasn’t quite feasible due to certain conditions and circumstances.
Tenshi clicked his tongue. Anyways, he’d collect her picture from the old dude tomorrow anyways.
He was surprised about one thing, however, and that was the old man giving up on his daughter way too soon, he simply didn’t make any other requests other than not killing her, which sounded highly suspicious to Tenshi.
He trusted Etsuko, but not Uyeda. He didn’t know why, but a military leader didn’t sound trustable to him, nor did his wife for a reason, but he trusted her due to the fact that he was in a sense, thinking of her as a mother-figure.
Tenshi had a slight suspicion, and that was that the entire neighbourhood he was living in was filled with either hidden or fallen former noble families.
Take Etsuko for example, who used to be the daughter of a certain rich family until she was disowned for marrying Uyeda. That was the story Tenshi know anyway. Maybe it wasn’t true, as he couldn’t trust Haruno after all.
Still, goddammit Uyeda, why must you be so devious?
Tenshi remembered a certain someone and wryly wrapped his lips.
He stood up and walked towards the leather chair, standing far away from everything, and when Haruto tried to follow or even ask him where he was going Tenshi just waved his hands, signalling him not to follow.
He sat down on the leather chair and playfully rolled around on it over and over, yet his face was still vacant and depressive.
Tenshi suddenly remembered his ‘missing’ father, the so-called glorious comrade of his house, he so dearly hated.
He was now in a dilemma over his hate for his father, he wasn’t sure if he should despise him or not. You see, the main reason he hated him for was because he cheated on his mother, yet now look at Tenshi, even he was cheating on Sakura, a person who’s aura and personality greatly reminded him of his mom.
Even Kanae simply didn’t have the grace and the personality to represent her; while Sakura, not even being connected to his family by blood, was able to remind him of his mother.
Maybe Tenshi was a momcon, and even if he was, he probably wouldn’t be surprised.
Anyways, he still hated his father for always being away and for never sending any money his way whilst he suffered.
Tenshi couldn’t care less if his father was gay and was sucking dicks in a prison, he came home maybe once a year, so he also didn’t know which company that man worked in, hah!
Tenshi put his hands on his chin as he looked at the bright moon through the windows.
“The moon looks fucking bright today, doesn’t it? ” He chuckled.
Tenshi was feeling an overwhelming emptiness in his heart, maybe because of his entire situation, but Kanae being the main reason.
Used-goods. That’s the thing that was echoing in his mind right now.
Would he truly be happy living with someone, whom he loves but

{Just make do with me.}
{Must be the side-effects of not having a brain, heh!}
<can’t you=”” just=”” free=”” him?!?!=””></can’t>
{No.}
Tenshi facepalmed himself and rolled his eyes.
{Sure, ask away.}
{That was an illusion.}
{But the most worrying thing is that the so-called heart demons were able to enter a dead body, meaning that they probably aren’t heart demons after all.}
{Remember that Sovereign of the dead or something? He is also suspicious. For example, how could he shake the entire building and touch reality if he’s only a manifestation of your feelings?}
{This is a CONSPIRACY by the jewi-}
{Oh wait I’m getting off-tracked, anyways, you probably should be suspicious towards your family.}
{Because as far as I know, those would be the only guys that could do this without you noticing it.}
{The easiest explanation would be that someone dumped a lot of demon souls into your body, maybe to make sure you die a horrendous death or make you super powerful.}
{The last one also makes sense since you’re talentless by the way, did you know that you don’t have a dantian? And the watch is acting as a replacement for it?}
{Because now you do, hah! How’s my humour?}
Tenshi took in the information with a bit of salt, the information that he was talentless or something else wasn’t a surprise to him but the fact that someone in his family could’ve done it was horrible to him.
Kanae and his mother were automatically cut from his inner thoughts, and only his father was left behind.
Fuck that bastard.
{Or it could’ve been someone close to you, who used you as a dump for a lot of demon souls.}
{I personally suspect that white-haired girl you saw in your memories, because to your brain, she felt astonishingly close to you.}
{Also, why are your memories a hodgepodge of shit? I can’t see anything clearly in your surface memories either.}
{Must be a side effect of having your brain raped by demons}
Tenshi didn’t so anything unique this time such as smirking or grinning, but instead, he adopted a suspicious look on his face.
{Anyways, you have to get stronger. You’re level 12 right now and that to me feels personally insulting. And also, you’re pretty weak right now, even a single bullet can make you shit yourself.}
Tenshi nodded.
{Do quests, quests give a shit ton of experience.}
{Furthermore, there is another way, and that is to kill the targets under hypnosis, easy peasy.}
{The advisor spirit told you right? That you can easily kill people under hypnosis with just a single word?}
{Remember those investors? They’re a mix of cultivators so after you’re done with them, kill them.}

Tenshi wordlessly looked at the blue, rather red tinged screen and clicked his lips.
Once again, Tenshi’s hypocritical mindset was exposed. He didn’t like the investors, they didn’t interest him so he didn’t like them to the point that he would spare them.
{Aw come on, you’ll be Level 152 after that}
{I’ll tell you a secret: at that stage, it’ll take 3 bullets to kill you teeheehee.}
Tenshi squinted his eyes.
{God kid, just because the number looks high doesn’t mean that the strength will also be higher.}
{I’ll tell you a secret a level 100 is ten times stronger than level 10, but level 200 is only two times that of level 100, whilst level 300 is just a tad bit stronger than level 300}
{Reminder, I’m counting physical strength here.}
{Well, let’s look at this from the beginning of everything. There are stats such as strength, constitution and speed which multiply each other by a small fraction.}
{From birth, a normal human has 1.0 in everything except in the intelligence and charisma stat.}
{I don’t exactly remember, but 1 point in strength represent a certain weight and power, which is then multiplied a bit by speed and once again Constitution.}
{Every level up, or a small breakthrough as humans call it represents a 0.1 increase in the physical stats, which sounds less and IS less.}
{So ignoring special cultivation techniques aimed at increasing physical strength, a normal level 100 human has 11.0 in every physical stat and whereas level 200 has a 22.0 in everything and then, level 300 has 33.0.}
{I’m telling you that, at lower levels, the increase of strength is drastic compared to higher levels, where the increase is more gradual and stable.}
{Moreover, no matter how much high the level looks at first glance, anything below level 1000 is considered a newbie. You’re in a backwater place so expect backwater strength}
{The game changer is the charisma stat.}
{Cultivation stages are nothing but a measurement of strength, it doesn’t measure how much Qi one can handle without bursting in flames.}
{The more charisma you have, the higher the amount of Qi you can manage and}
{You know what, you’ll know everything gradually later, so there’s no need for me to feed you everything.}
{You know what, I’ll make this simple for you, I’ll change the level feature to that of cultivation stage measurement.}

{There you go, it looks beautiful!}
{The XP counter, in reality, maps how much training and shit you need before you can level up.}
{You know what, you have an astonishing advantage over other people in this world, it’s literally super Overpowered.}
{You can bend people to your will, and you can literally just jog in the park and earn +0.1 strength and constitution from that!}
{After levelling up, have some fun if you know what I mean}
Tenshi nodded and hesitantly smiled.
Was it weird that he was weird thoughts in his mind for the first time since getting the watch?
No?
Thank you then.
Tenshi stood up from the chair and once again looked at the moon in the sky, then he sighed and walked towards the elevator once.
“Aw, you’re leaving? ” The elderly woman asked as she redirected her sight from the TV to Tenshi.
“Yes, I am auntie, sorry for leaving so early. I’ll come again and properly have a chat you with you one day. ” Tenshi smiled as he exited the room with Amano and Haruto.
After exiting the room, Amano sighed and wiped away the sweat on his forehead.
“That woman will honestly kill me one day ”
“Hm? She looks like she loves you though. ” Tenshi said as he stared at Amano.
“Of course she does, it’s just that she talks too much ” Amano wryly shook his head.
“And exposes his past nonchalantly, pfft. ” Haruto cackled while Amano looked at him with a frown.
While the elevator began to slowly descend, the atmosphere began to cool down as Tenshi frowned.
“Boss, it feels like you betrayed me today. ” Amano chuckled and looked at Tenshi with glazed eyes.
Haruto looked down on the ground guiltily.
“It’s beca-”
“Nah, don’t worry boss, I don’t have a problem with what you want to do. ”
“Even Nero was pestering me to remove him from the position of the head of the city council. ”
“So you could say that you were doing the right thing. ” Haruto blasted in laughter along with Amano as they looked at the pouting Tenshi.
And here he was, getting all tense that the hypnosis would break and he would be murdered, sweet!
“But boss, don’t do shit like this again, it makes me paranoid, hah! ” Amano laughed and slapped Haruto’s shoulder, to which he rolled his eyes.
Tenshi wryly smiled at them.
These guys were all friends, weren’t they? He wondered about one thing though, and that was
How did he figure it out?!?
{Did you forget about those slave contracts? They’re pretty effective but also illegal.}
{They’re illegal by the way and banned. The only place you’ll get it from, according to Amano, are from very very wealthy Arabian businessmen.}
Tenshi wryly smiled.
“You want that potion back boss?”
“Nah, keep it. Share it along with your trusted aides. ”
“Thanks, boss!”
Tenshi scratched his neck and looked ahead, in front of him, Nero dressed in a black suit was waiting for him with two men beside him, clearly from a bank by seeing the ID hung on their shirt.
Tenshi could see that just beside them, there was a transparent sliding door leading into a big and spacious room, which he suspected was the boardroom.
“Sir, I’m here with the bank officials. ” Nero said as he nonchalantly looked at Tenshi
Tenshi smiled, he prepared everything, proof of residence, photos, and his ID. Plus, these guys assistance would make sure his bank account would be open as soon as possible.
Tenshi didn’t know, however, what forms and things he needed to submit in order to not alarm the authorities when his account receives more than a certain amount set by the authorities as suspicious, hm
Tenshi signed the papers in front of him and bid adieu to the men, who promptly bowed and asked if he needed a credit card.
Tenshi declined.
“Ok sir, the debit card shall be mailed to you within three business days.”
” Three?… ”
“T-two, two days sir. ” The man’s eyelashes started to tremble as his legs started to shake.
He didn’t know why, but Tenshi exerted such a terrible and cold aura from his body that the man literally started to get chills.
“Then it’s fine. Now go away, I’ve other work to do. ” Tenshi said as he waved his hands and rudely bid bye to them.
The men scrunched their eyebrows at the insult but nonetheless bowed to power and left, leaving Amano staring at Tenshi with a smile.
As expected, even Amano couldn’t be as inconsiderate and assholish to the extent of Tenshi, who was on a relatively high level.
The Dao of assholes. Perfect for villains.
Tenshi however, had a frown on his face as he did a bit of introspecting on his personality.
Tenshi’s personality was turning into a direction the childhood version of him wouldn’t expect of him rude, hypocritical, assholish and pretty villainy.
Tenshi furthermore, was getting excitement and a lotta kick out of this power
Power doesn’t corrupt, it’s that it always goes into the hands of unwanted people; which was perfect to explain the situation regarding Tenshi.
Tenshi shrugged.
A woman, most likely a secretary entered the empty boardroom and whispered something in the ears of Amano, yet her eyes were on Tenshi’s face.
Who was this dude?
Amano nodded and dismissed the woman and came closer to Tenshi, who was sitting on the chair of the Managing Director.
Amano didn’t mind him sitting on that chair after all even he had a type of favouritism and Tenshi was the one who handed him this construction and real estate empire, so it wouldn’t be something troublesome to him to give Tenshi a director-level job.
Amano however, unfortunately, didn’t know the events that would shortly follow.
“Boss, the investors are here! ” Amano whispered to Tenshi with a tense voice.
Amano remembered that Tenshi had a certain way to deal with the investors, and immediately smiled in anticipation!
This man in front of him could do anything!!! And Amano had utmost belief in that!
“Hah, and here I was thinking that they died in an accident! ” Tenshi evilly cackled and dragged his knuckles across the table, leaving Amano to glance at him with confusion.
“Let’s go! You’ll see soon what I’ve planned ” Tenshi grinned and exited the boardroom.
“You can’t do this to us dad! ”
“Anata, please think for our children! ”
Suddenly, as soon as he exited the boardroom Tenshi found the ever familiar six dwarves, or as the people call them investors, surrounded by the company’s employees as a bunch of kids and females.
Tenshi rolled his eyes and immediately prepared himself for the incoming drama.
These guys must be the family of the investorshm
These guys were pretty stupid to inform their families about what they were going to do.
“So you’re going to give away all of the assets?” The woman from before asked as an overwhelming calmness wiped off the angry expression on her face.
“I am. ” One of the investors, a clean looking man replied as he sighed and looked at Tenshi.
“It’s debt, I have to repay it ”
“FOR GOD’S SAKE, where is it written that you owe him something?!?! ”
“If you’ll only have that meagre amount of money left in the future, I’m going to leave you!! ”
“W-what, honey what are you even talking about?! I’m still a knowledgeable investor; the money I’ve lost now will be easily gained again in the future! ” The man panicked and held the shoulders of the woman beside him.
Similar arguments were going on while the employees were amusingly watching, Tenshi, however, focused on this particular couple.
“I don’t know, I don’t want to stay with you! ”
“You’re a sore loser you know? What can you even do with that amount of money?! It’s not like my parents are grooming you! ”
“Goodbye! And I hope you don’t come and plead for pennies after you’ve gone rock bottom after this! ”
The woman turned around and sneered.
“But youloved me didn’t you?” The man said as a tear fell from his face.
She clearly said in the wedding vows, that through poorness or wealth she would be with him, now what?
Just a bit of fluctuation in his wealth and
The woman’s eyebrows twitched as she introspected herself. Indeed, she loved him but why was she not regretting anything she was telling? Why doesn’t he give her the same feeling he did back when he was still rich?
Turns out, not many people know their own personalities or biological nature, it mainly includes men but also sometimes include women.
Just as her husband lost her wealth, her love immediately started to falter.
“I don’t know, but I suddenly realized that the grass is greener on the other side. I kept myself in the dark by doing housework and slaving!”
“You actually were a loser. You clearly didn’t treat me right! ” The woman upon realizing that she was being seen as selfish by the crowd twisted the facts a bit in order to make herself more innocent.
She didn’t even realize that she did that.
“Come on girls, don’t stay with these guys, I assure you that there are better guys out there! ” Immediately, the other women, although rather hesitantly, nodded.
It didn’t matter that the men supported them or selfless took care of them, it didn’t matter. They lost their potential and instantly, their feelings for them disappeared.
It wasn’t even selfish or even bad, that’s just how females were, they move on quickly.
Tenshi said in his mind as he shrugged and remembered the watch’s sayings.
Heartless. But it wasn’t their fault.
Was even Sakura, or even Misaki like this?
{Of course they are, if you grow fat, lose your dick, lose your face, get handicapped or become a beggar, their respect along with love for you is guaranteed to disappear.}
{Get over it, unconditional love doesn’t exist, this isn’t a magic world. You have Hypnosis so bang grills and be happy}
{Putting all of your emotional eggs in one basket is foolish. And these men did the same and ended up disappointed.}
{Always remember – The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the human family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place.}
Tenshi closed in on them, clearly intent on giving these people a slap on the face.
He could do at least this for the men. He was going to be sacrificing them later yes, but even goats prepared for slaughter are fed good food.
Empathy, maybe that was what was holding Tenshi back.
“Excuse me, but could you please weaken your voice? ” Tenshi said smoothly as he closed in on the group of people.
The men cringed in fear while the women started to frown, and the children started to stare at him.
“Oh! So we should happily watch a disaster take place?! ” The leading woman looked at Tenshi and sneered, from his bright and casual clothes she could instantly judge that he was an intern.
“I’m not saying that ma’am, what I’m saying is that this is a private employee-only floor. And I’m being lenient by bearing your tantrums and not immediately throwing you out. “Tenshi said as he closed in on the woman and grinned at her.
“Excuse me, but do you know who you’re talking to? ”
“Yeah. I do. But do you know who I AM? ”
“You’re courting death woman, begone. ” Tenshi said as he waved his hands at the woman and turned towards Amano.
“Hey Amano, we have armed guards here right? ”
Amano who was still in a shock from the massive info entering his mind nodded vacantly.
“Yeah ”
“Tell them to shoot this whore if she yaps a single word more. ” Tenshi annoyingly cackled as if his villainy plans were complete .
“What? You can’t shoot a civilian!!! ” The woman yelled at the employees went all frantic.
“I can. And that’s completely justifiable, so before that happens, go away! ”
“Now let’s go, we have work to do. ” The lawyers surrounding the men wryly grinned and nodded at Tenshi.
Tenshi nodded in return and immediately entered the boardroom, while Amano stood there with a confused expression on his face.
Nero in the meanwhile tilted his head and followed along with Tenshi.
Tenshi signed on the paper, entered his newly opened brokerage accounts number and various other information on the paper pointed at by the lawyer.
“Sir, the stock transfer will only take a bit longer, as it has to be verified by a financial institute and granted a medallion guarantee. ”
“And how long will that take? ”
“Ordinarily it takes a week, but with our law firm’s connections, we’ll manage to get that in four hours. ”
“Hm, fine then. The properties?
