THE HERB KING - Chapter 359 To the Suliman Family’s Estate
Chapter 359 To the Suliman Family’s Estate
“They are my wives and children. There’s no need to be alarmed.” Aethelwolf smiled at them.
Tyrone and the others were surprised when they heard this, but their faces eased up after knowing their identities.
“Sir Aethelwolf, are you guys also headed to Northern Trance?” Tyrone asked as he put down his guard. He also signaled his men to stand back.
Aethelwolf nodded his head. “Yes. We came from a far place and I decided to bring my family for a vacation. If you don’t mind, we will follow you back to Northern Trance.”
Tyrone was delighted by his words. He had seen Aethelwolf’s power and it would be more reassuring if he followed them. “We don’t mind at all.”
“Great!”
Aethelwolf and his family followed the Suliman Family to Northern Trance. Tyrone was quite the chatty person so Aethelwolf learned a lot of things from him along their journey.
This continent was called Azaleas and Northern Trance was a city in the country of Egrad. Tyrone didn’t mention anything about Northern Trance so Aethelwolf was still clueless about the city. However, Aethelwolf learned something very shocking from him.
They actually call the first five levels the Foundation Establishment. After the fifth stage of Foundation Establishment was the Core Formation Realm which was known as Transcendence in the Regalis Continent.
After a few hours of traveling, they finally arrived at the entrance of Northern Trance.
The city was surrounded by tall walls and there were magic missiles and cannons at the top.
Aethelwolf and his family were shocked by this. They never thought that the technology on this continent was already so advanced. In the Regalis Continent, only the Barden Territory was equipped with such advanced weapons.
There was a long queue at the entrance of the city, but their group bypassed the line. This was the privilege of the Suliman Family whose family head was the mayor of the city. According to Tyrone, the family head of the Suliman Family was a Nascent Soul Realm Esper, an expert that was one major realm stronger than Aethelwolf!
“Sir Aethelwolf, please come with us. I will introduce you to the family head and inform him about what you did for us.” Tyrone invited him to the Suliman Household.
Aethelwolf needed to learn more about the continent so he didn’t decline. “Alright.”
The group traveled for another hour before they arrived at the estate of the Suliman Family. There was a team of twenty guards waiting for them at the entrance.
“Greetings, young miss and young lord!” The guards greeted respectfully.
“Tyrone, who are these people?” The leader of the guards furrowed his eyebrows when he spotted a few unfamiliar faces.
“Don’t be rude! This is Sir Aethelwolf and his family. Without Sir Aethelwolf’s help, we would have already died in the forest.” Tyrone said in a reprimanding tone. He then apologetically stared at Aethelwolf. “Please don’t mind them, Sir Aethelwolf.”
Aethelwolf chuckled and shook his head.
When the guards heard Tyrone’s words, they were surprised. They now stared at Aethelwolf and his family with friendly gazes. “I apologize for being rude, Sir Aethelwolf!” The leader of the guards slightly lowered his head.
“It’s fine. There’s no harm done.” Aethelwolf didn’t think too much about it.
“Sir Aethelwolf, we’ll take you guys to the manor.” Tyrone said as he made a ‘this way’ gesture.
Aethelwolf followed Tyrone and the guards. The manor of the Suliman Family was quite huge and it looked like a castle.
Aethelwolf and his family were brought to the study of the mayor which was located on the third floor of the manor.
“The mayor is waiting for you guys inside.” Tyrone whispered as he pushed the door open for them.
Aethelwolf grabbed the hands of Julie Irish and Samira as they entered the room.
Upon entering, they saw a stern-looking middle-aged man with sideburns. He looked incredibly imposing with his straight back and sharp gaze.
Aethelwolf immediately sent a stream of energy to his wives and daughters when he sensed their nervousness. When this energy entered their bodies, they managed to slowly calm down.
“You may sit.” The mayor said as he pointed at the sofa.
“Thank you.” Aethelwolf stared calmly at the mayor. This was the first time he felt so weak in front of someone. He didn’t even feel like this when he faced Bralgorach.
The mayor interlocked his fingers on top of the table as he sized up Aethelwolf. “I’ve heard about your actions from my men. Thank you for saving my children and my subordinates.” He let out a faint smile as he said those words.
Aethelwolf smiled as he replied. “My pleasure.”
“Aethelwolf is it? I don’t want you guys to leave empty-handed after saving my people. Tell me what you want. If it’s within my reach, I will satisfy your demand.” The mayor said in a calm voice.
Aethelwolf would have rejected him if this was in the Regalis Continent, but they were now in a foreign territory and it would be unwise not to use this chance.?”To tell you the truth, I brought my family here for a vacation, but we know nothing about Northern Trance so I would really appreciate it if you can provide us with a place to stay.”
The mayor was silent for a moment before he nodded his head. “That’s just a trivial matter. I’ll inform my subordinates to prepare a place for you and your family. Please stay in the estate for the time being.”
“Thank you very much, mayor!” Aethelwolf gratefully said.
The mayor waved his hand. “You guys can go. Just look for Tyrone if you need anything.”
“Alright. We’ll take our leave now.” Aethelwolf stood up and brought his family out of the room. The mayor was quite a strict person, but he was someone who repays favors.
“Papa, I’m scared!” Olivia mumbled as she hugged Aethelwolf’s leg.
“Papa, I’m alshu shcared.” His little daughter also revealed a terrified look.
Aethelwolf chuckled as he carried both girls in his arms. “Don’t be scared. Papa is here.”
