The Hidden Myth of Ji Dara - Chapter 142
Elder Ting saw her younger disciple and noticed that she seemed to be seething with a scream, and just as she was about to stand up to go meet her, the little girl ran out of the ward and down the stairs as she burst out of the clinic before puking her guts out stunning Ji Wang and Uncle Min who were standing guard at the entrance…
Ji Wang and Uncle Min felt their hearts tug heavily with a very ominous vibe, as they both rushed over to the girl;
“Hey, are you okay?”
“What happened in there!?” The Ji Wang duo both asked the girl who pointed to the clinic;
“Tr- tribe Leader…” She stuttered before fainting on the spot…
Ji Wang and Uncle Min didn’t even waste another single breath as they grabbed the girl and ran back into the clinic, where they found Elder Ting and the Senior Disciple still sobbing as they looked onto the operating table and saw a pale faced Dara, unmoving, without breath nor flowing blood as Ji Wang’s hands fell by his side in deep pain…
Uncle Min on the other hand placed the girl on the ground as he trembled towards Dara;
“No way…”
“This isn’t happening… Not you… Not now… Not yet…”
“There’s still a whole life ahead of you… There are still people who depend on you here…”
“There are still people who care about you back here…” Uncle Min began to speak to Dara like he was listening;
“I thought I instructed both of you to guard the clinic!?”
Aunt Lin’s yell floated over from behind Ji Wang who was blocking the single person entrance to the ward;
“You had better given me a good explana-”
Aunt Lin reached the entrance and pushed Ji Wang out of the way, and the first thing she noticed was that everyone was sobbing;
“Eh?” She was stunned as she quickly walked over to Dara’s body, and placed her finger beneath his nostrils but felt no breath; she then placed her head on his chest but it was the same;
‘Un!?’ Aunt Lin’s heart trembled intensely when she got o feedback whatsoever from him;
“How did this happen!?” She quaked with a sobbing tone;
“How did this happen!?” She then yelled with tears when she got no response;
“Tribe Lady, *Sniffs* He was stable a few minutes ago, but then he abruptly screamed to life *Sniffs* and that ruptured all his injuries that we had previously stitched up, *Sniffs* causing his injuries to flare up once more *Blows nose*…”
Elder Ting wept as she spoke, but realized she couldn’t continue as there seemed to be an invisible lump with the weight of an entire universe stuck to her throat;
“*Sniffs* Then he fell unconscious moments after, and despite how much we tried to stabilize him once again, it all proves abortive *Sniffs then cries*”
Elder Ting’s senior disciple explained whilst bawling her eyes out with occasional sniffs…
Uncle Min knelt beside the operation table with his shoulders slumped, his head bowed and a thick aura of loss radiating all over him, whilst Ji Wang simply leaned to the frame of the entrance with his hands clenched to the extent that thick veins were bulging out of it, as he tried as much as he could to fight back his tears which had already clouded his eyes…
All it needed was a blink, and he would have shed his tears, but Aunt Lin on the other hand was uncontrollable, she wasn’t loud, but her tears kept streaming nonstop and her sniffs were as long as a train track…
“Leave us!”
She said in a low tone, and when she realized that they didn’t haul ass out of the room, she pulled the whip she had strewn to her waist and swung it viciously towards the wall of the clinic;
Whappa!
Slash!
A three inch crevice appeared where the whip landed frightened the shit out of everyone within the room;
“Leave us!”
She screamed and this time around, everyone used the entrance within the blink of an eye as Aunt Lin broke down in deeper tears, holding Dara’s hand and weeping miserably at him;
“Why did you have to do this to me?”
“Our journey in life had only begun and you had to leave me…”
“You have yet to grow into a man… We have yet to enjoy our youthful relationship…’
“I have yet to carry your child in me… But now you have left me with nothing to hold on to…”
“It hurts… My heart hurts, honey… Please don’t leave me!”
“Don’t abandon me in this world… I still need you… I don’t think I can carry on without you…”
“Please Dara don’t leave me!”
Aunt Lin wept as she used his real name for the first time in a long while, and she continued to weep without stopping for days…
Meanwhile…
Back within Dara’s mental realm…
After about a few minutes, the tree finally absorbed the souls and the moment that happened, the purple colored formation branded on the white soul disintegrated and transformed into some kind of fluid again;
But just as it was about to float off, the tree root absorbed it too and sent it up the tree trunk into the branch which now surprisingly had some sort of transparent fruit on it…
If one were to look at this transparent fruit, they would notice there seemed to be a mini human within it, looking like a developing embryo which was growing into the distinct figure of a mini human…
Once the root finished absorbing the soul and couldn’t find where to absorb more energy, it then began to consume the remaining energy within Dara’s cultivation to nurture the new soul within the transparent fruit…
Two days later, all of Dara’s Qi had been sucked dry, but there incubation process was still only about 25% percent complete, as its limbs were already becoming more defined with fingers and toes already separating out, unlike previously when it simply looked like a mini human with four limbs…
The root kept using Dara’s insane number of meridians to absorb pure Qi into his body to nourish his soul, but it was moving at a snail pace, inching one percent per day…
