The Hidden Wife Of The Cold CEO - Chapter 720 Her Hidden Identity
The tracking code given to Jia Li was a mismatch, an error coming from Sunny’s desk.
Sunny had the tracking code, and when Jia Li requested for it, she typed them out and sent it to her while in the busy mode, instead of copying and sending it over, so the mistake came from her.
Realizing that everything was alright and that the ship carrying her goods, would be in China in the next two days, Jia Li released a deep breath and just lay on the bed.
“See you, you are pregnant, and you don’t need stress, but you never listen to me. I’m sure you can relax now.” Fu Hua said with a helpless gaze.
“My mind is free now, so I can rest.” Jia Li said with a faint smile. She was very happy at this moment, and could finally dare to relax.
Fu Hua knew that her mind wouldn’t be at ease so quickly if they truly lost those crystals, but he was happy that everything was okay.
The next moment, he pulled her up from the bed and said, “You are going to be late for work.”
“Why is it only that will be late for work, what about you?” Jia Li asked as she adjusted her dress.
Fu Hua picked up their phones, and their bags before walking ahead of her towards the door. “Because I am the boss, and you are my employee.”
“What a bully!” Jia Li said as she immediately followed him outside.
“By the way, why were you so scared of FJ making losses instead of your deadline when you can actually foot the bill for the loss if the company asked you to pay?” Fu Hua asked as they walked along the hallway, before taking the stairs.
“Although I can foot the bill for the loss if I’m asked to, that’s not what my money is for. I can bear paying for a huge loss like that, I will feel that my hard work has gone down the drain, and I might actually collapse.” Jia Li replied with a funny smile on her face.
The reason Fu Hua asked this question, was not because FJ would ever as her or any employee to pay for losses in this kind of situation, but because he wanted to know what kind of response she would give, and surely, he wasn’t surprised.
“So, you are this scared of spending your money this way. Anyway, please don’t collapse yet, you are carrying my child.” As Fu Hua said that, he transferred their bags to one hand, and used the other to hold her hand, as they got off the stairs and started working towards the hallway leading to the entrance.
“Why do you only care about the baby, what about me?” Jia Li inquired.
“Because you want to collapse when there is no reason to.” Fu Hua replied, and he got a slap on his shoulder, which caused him to erupt in laughter.
Just like that Jia Li and Fu Hua left the house, without knowing that someone heard their conversation and was in shock.
Never would Lanying have imagined that she would get a huge scoop like this, from loitering about. She looked so shocked to learn of the news.
“She is pregnant, and nobody knows?” Lanying asked herself as she gazed into the distance.
The next minute, she hurried over to her bedroom and made sure to lock the door behind her, before people like her mother would barge in without knocking.
Lanying hurried over to the desk and unlocked her iPad which she left there and went to a blog site, signed in with a password, and began to type away.
When she was done, she set a timer for the release. before smiling to herself in victory, as she slowly put her iPad down and jumped on the bed.
“Let’s see, how much will I make from this? And what kind of stir will this news cause?” Lanying asked herself with a big smile on her face.
She was feeling very proud of the stir she was about to cause. And she hopes it garnered much attention to her blog page.
If Lanying wasn’t in the Fu house, she would have ordered a glass of wine, but she couldn’t do that openly, so she went out and ordered a fruit juice which brought to her some minutes later.
After relaxing for a while, she set her recording instruments to take videos and some pictures which she posted on her social media pages.
Two days later, news about Jia Li’s pregnancy spread on the internet like wildfire. Lanying’s blog handle was reposted and many netizens were asking how she got the news, and which evidence she had.
Many people ran to Jia Li’s page to ask her about it and find out if it was true, while the others (naive) were already throwing congratulatory messages without confirming the news.
“Our lovebirds, Jia Li, and Fu Hua are expecting another child, congratulations to them! We hope to see the baby bump soon.” FangSu read out the news during breakfast on a Friday.
“Who posted that thing?” Fu Lei asked as he slammed his fist on the table. Because Lanying was sitting beside him, she flinched. She was so scared out of guilt, but Fu Juan thought it was because of Fu Lei’s anger. But she couldn’t say anything to avoid being dragged.
FangSu read out the blogger’s name, “Spider, that’s the blogger’s name. I think we need to check her out. This person seems to have a lot of interest in our Fu family.”
FangSu was already scrolling through Spider’s page and checking out all her blog posts.
“How did this person even get a hold of this news since none of us had said anything to anybody, or has anyone done that?” YingPei asked as he glanced at everyone.
“How would we do that when brother has not asked us to do that or make any official announcement. And you know that sister-in-law is launching another collection soon, so how can we release this kind of news?” FangSu asked.
