The Hunter That Returned From Hell - Chapter 106
“We will never know until we give it a try. Don’t get too co*ky, it will bring your downfall.” Said one of the bodyguards that blocked the sword of the white masked man. As he moved back, the three of the bodyguards surrounded the white masked man from three sides, their plan was to block the white masked man’s path so that he wouldn’t be able to regroup with his team.
“Let me see how long you three can hold me here for. You! You just wait once I am done with these three, I will come to you, let’s see how long you can run for.” Said the white masked man as he noticed Kang-Ho’s eyes turning towards him, Kang-Ho clearly saw the rage burning inside of the white masked man’s eyes. As for Kang-Ho it seemed as I his eyes didn’t have any emotions on it, which after white masked man noticed, he got enraged even more.
-Swish-
Sound of movement was heard from behind Kang-Ho as he turned around, he saw the remaining assassins carefully running towards him, soon the assassins had all encircled Kang-Ho. Even after they had managed to surround Kang-Ho, they all stood like a statue hoping for someone to initiate the attack first. Even after they had seen how Kang-Ho was incapable of battling with their chief they still hesitated to attack Kang-Ho. Afterall they had seen Kang-Ho kill one of their comrades in a very brutal way. The man didn’t even have a chance to scream before he died.
-SWISH-
Seeing that the assassins didn’t have any motivation to attack first Kang-Ho decided to move himself, Kang-Ho moved swiftly stopping in front of the weakest of the assassins in an blink of an eye. The other assassins didn’t even have a chance to react seeing Kang-Ho’s speed, he was extremely swift. Seeing their friend in danger other assassins finally made a move but it was just a little late, as they were trying to run towards them Kang-Ho had already launched his attack on the poor guy.
-CLANK-
As Kang-Ho attacked the assassin with his short sword, the assassin was somehow able to block the first attack that came his way, but the aftershock of the attack was not something that the assassin was able to handle.
The assassin was panicked when he saw Kang-Ho was coming towards him, so the assassin got nervous and forgot to assume battle stance when took Kang-Ho’s blow head on. That resulted in the assassin losing his balance, and he was sent flying.
-SLASH-
Kang-Ho didn’t give the assassin a chance to rest as he moved right behind the assassin and once again swung his sword towards the assassin. Seeing Kang-Ho attack once more the assassin’s eyes turned moist as if asking for mercy through his eyes, Kang-Ho on the other hand, through the entire process had unfazed eyes, as he looked into the eyes of the assassin, he didn’t even have a shred of mercy within his eyes.
Kang-Ho’s short sword at this moment came crushing down towards the heart of the assassin in blink of an eye the short sword had already pierced through heart of the assassin and the short sword was sticking through the back of the assassin.
‘If you didn’t want to die, then you should have never chosen this path in the first place. If you are ready to take someone else’s life you should have the courage to face death.’ Kang-Ho thought to himself as he killed the assassin.
“F**K! UGGHHHH” shouted one of the assassins as he saw Kang-Ho kill one of their own as he could do nothing to help. The assassin moved towards Kang-Ho as he saw his friend lay on the ground.
“MOVE OUT OF MY WAY YOU SON OF A B**CH!” shouted the assassin as his way was suddenly blocked by someone, suddenly he moved his gaze towards the person who had blocked his path and his anger soared as it turned out that he was being blocked by one of the bodyguards of moon Jung.
“Your opponent will be me not him, if you want to reach him you will have to go through my dead body.” Said the bodyguard as he looked towards the angry assassin.
“I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU!” shouted the assassin as he took battle stance to battle the bodyguard. Both soon entered the battle; the entire battlefield was filled with the same scene all around. Moon Jung’s bodyguards made their move and they were intercepting all of the assassins. An all-out brawl started as soon as that happened.
After all of the assassins and bodyguards started fighting the battleground soon became too chaotic, Moon Jung started to move back a little but he was not trying to run away, one thing was clear in his heart, he would never run away from a battle even if his foes are more powerful than him.
“JUST A LITTLE MORE! HIS MANA WILL RUN OUT ANY SECOND NOW!” Yelled Moon Jung as he saw three of his bodyguards struggling to fight against the white masked man whose sword was still burning red. Moon Jung was clear on one thing that the skill that the white masked man was using was very strong at the same time it was very hard to use. if the used wasn’t high enough level, then he would not be able to use the skill for too long. Once the person using the skill ran out of mana to use, he wouldn’t be able to use any other skills as the skill used an insane amount of mana. This was the type of skill people would mostly use during a desperate situation.
“FU**ING RUNT JUST WAIT TILL I SKIN YOU ALIVE!” Yelled the white masked man as he heard the warning that came from Moon Jung. He knew deep in his heart that what Moon Jung had said was true so he was frustrated that he still wasn’t able to finish the mission. Right now, a thought popped up in the head of the white masked man, and he was reminded of Kang-Ho who had spoiled his plan after he showed up suddenly out of nowhere, he turned his head left and right searching for Kang-Ho, but to his surprise Kang-Ho was nowhere to be seen.
‘Where did he go?’ thought the white masked man as he wasn’t even able to get the wisp of Kang-Ho, it was as if he had vanished.
-Clank-
Suddenly the white masked man was attacked by all three bodyguards at the same time, while he was distracted. But he had managed to somehow defend against the attacks of all three.
“You think just because I am distracted you ca…..” with a smirk under his mask the white masked man was just about to say something but right the he felt something from behind him, he quickly moved to dodge, but he was just a little late as a short sword which looked like it was burning with black flame came slashing down towards his arm and made a very deep cut on his shoulders it slashed through his flesh and crushed some of his bone.
“AHKKKKHHHH!” the white masked man shrieked in pain as he moved back.
