The Hunter That Returned From Hell - Chapter 113
“I….I….HAH…Hah….Hah…It was the members of Hedo guild. They went inside that place I promise, they all went inside. Don’t kill me, please don’t kill me.” Said Crome with difficulty as checked on his own wounds. After the initial shock Crome finally came back to his senses and took some healing potion out, just when he was about to drink it Kang-Ho said something that made his body pause on its own and he couldn’t even drink the potion.
“You are a part of Hedo guild as well doesn’t that meant that you participated in this as well?” asked Kang-Ho with a domineering tone while looking down at crome with anger in his eyes.
“N……No…No please listen to me first, I can explain, I promise I can explain this. Just give me a moment to explain.” Blabbered Crome as he saw Kang-Ho grip his short sword even harder as he looked towards Crome with ruthlessness, this gave crome the feeling that Kang-Ho was done questioning him and he wanted to kill him and move on, so Crome started panicking.
“Speak.” Said Kang-Ho, he had a straight forward face which said don’t waste my time all over it, so Crome knew that if he started to make up stories he would surely be killed even before he knew what had happened, so he started to explain in details what had taken place to Kang-Ho.
In short what had happened was while on search for pocket dimensions Crome’s group came across the other group and in first sight Matt was head over heels over a pretty member of the group, when matt asked the member to stay behind and join their group, she had rejected him so in a fit of rage matt and the group killed all of the members of the other group. In his explanation crome made sure to put all the blame to matt to make sure Kang-Ho would believe that Crome had nothing to do with the incident as he was too weak to do anything. But unknown to Crome while listening to Crome Kang-Ho was intently focused on the expressions, as crome was explaining the incident to Kang-Ho, Kang-Ho was just reading his emotions, as he knew that there is something you can never hide because of emotion. When Crome came to the part where he explained how he was powerless to help the females and he never had the intent touched the female a guilty expression surfaced the face of crome. It was clear that Kang-Ho had just lied to hm about something.
From start to finish Kang-Ho didn’t care if Crome was guilty or not, all he cared about was to know who killed them so brutally and why. After finding out everything he needed to know Kang-Ho was done. He swiftly advanced a step and slowly unsheathed his sword right in front of the eyes of Crome.
“Bu….But I told you everything I knew, I promise I had nothing to do with that, I promise. No…..NOOOO]… Please Don’t kill me please, I beg you don’t kill me.” Said Crome fearfully as he stepped back with fear as he looked towards the masked man standing before him. Crome’s legs were shaking as he gazed towards the unfeeling eyes of Kang-Ho as he drew his sword. deep in his heart it was clear to Crome that Kang-Ho was not an enemy he could win against so from start to now he never had any intentions of fighting Kang-Ho, at this moment Crome swiftly turned around and tried to run away.
Seeing Crome trying to runaway Kang-Ho wasn’t bothered a little bit by it, he took out the short sword and used all of his power in his leg as he pushed forward, with just a single motion Kang-Ho had caught up to crome who had already taken 3 steps. Next Kang-Ho gazed at the eyes of Crome as he swung his sword towards the back of the neck of crome, in the eyes of crome the despair was clear as he, it was as if Crome couldn’t believe his life would come to an abrupt end just like that.
As Kang-Ho’s short sword passed through Crome’s neck it seemed like the sword never came to a stop as it passed through the neck, it was almost like hot knife through butter as it cut off crome’s head.
-Thud- -thud-
Low sound of something crashing to the ground came to the ears of Kang-Ho as he saw the severed head of Kang-Ho fell to the ground followed by the lifeless body. Kang-Ho shook of the blood that covered his sword as he gazed at the body for some time.
‘What was that?’ thought Kang-Ho to himself as he could hear some footsteps coming closer to him second by second. From the footsteps Kang—Ho knew that not just one group there were many groups approaching him as he stood there. Kang-Ho didn’t want to waste any more of his time standing at this place as he turned around and started running towards the place, he came here for in the first place.
……………………………………………..
Meanwhile, after Kang-ho had left the place after a few seconds some groups of people arrived at the scene where Kang-Ho had killed Crome, they started to inspect the area to see what had happened, after some time of investigating they found out that there was only sign of 2 people being here but there was no sign of the person who left this place with life intact.
“What is going on here, it seems as if the person who killed this guy, came here killed him and became a ghost and disappeared. I couldn’t even find a single clue to where the man has disappeared. It seems the man who killed him belongs to a high-ranking guild or else I don’t thing anyone else would be capable of doing this singlehandedly. I hope I don’t come face to face with this man inside the trail, if I do I know I would be like this corpse as well in the end of the day. It seems luck is on my side today as, if that man were to stay here, I don’t know what I would have to do to keep my life safe.” Said a man in his 40s as he checked on the surrounding, his back was drenched with cold sweat as he imagined the man who was capable of doing this, one thing was clear to him that he would die for sure if he were to face the man who did that.
“We all dodged a bullet today.” said another man, his face was extremely pale as he imagined what would have happened if they ere to come across the man who did this.
“Curiosity killed the cat; I don’t want to be the cat. From now on don’t lead me to these places, f**king dum**ss.” Said one young man as he gazed towards the man in his 40s.
The man in his 40s didn’t try to refute the young man as in his heart he also knew that they could have died today because of their curiosity. Everyone who came to look at what had happened left quickly as if they had nothing to do with it, no one bothered to burry the body as everyone became worried about becoming a lifeless body themselves.
