The Hunter That Returned From Hell - Chapter 124
Kang-Ho was surprised to say the least as the bat king attacked its own people even while they were in the middle of the battle. It seemed like the bat didn’t even care about Kang-Ho being there at all, as if it was confident that it would be able to deal with Kang-Ho as long as it wanted to, the most important thing for the bat king was to kill all the bats that tried to run away. Kang-Ho was amused by seeing the scene by the didn’t intervened as the bat continued, the more the bat king killed the bats the more Kang-Ho would feel relieved as Kang-Ho wouldn’t have to worry about them. The bat King killing the other bats was a good thing for Kang-Ho. The bat king one by one killed all of the bats that tried running away, the bat king didn’t even have any expression on its face as it killed all its people.
Seeing the bat king Killing its own people Kang-Ho felt as if, all the action that the bat king took was its natural instincts. Kang-Ho cautiously stood and watched the scene of the bats being slaughtered as he studied the movement of the bat king, even though the bat king was comparatively way larger than the other normal bats, its speed wasn’t a least bit slower than the other bats, after seeing the bat king move around constantly Kang-Ho figured that the bat king was way faster than the normal bat. Normal bat’s speed paled in comparison to the bat king.
Kang-Ho had all of his wounds healed as he watched on the drama. Kang-Ho was ready to face the bat King. Kang-Ho took his battle stance as he surveyed the area with his senses. Kang-Ho could hear some sort of rustle from behind him from behind the rocks. Kang-Ho figured while he was watching the bat King intently some bat must have sneakily made its way towards his back and found a perfect spot to launch a perfect sneak attack on him. The bat would have succeeded if Kang-Ho didn’t take notice of its presence behind him.
-SIGH-
Kang-Ho sighed as he thought these creatures are way different from those he fought until now since he reached earth. They were much smarter and more adaptable. On top of that they seemed to be born assassins. If Kang-Ho could he wanted to keep these creatures as pet but alas that was only his wishful thinking as it seemed that unless he killed all of these creatures the gate wont budge, that was a bit regretful but it was what it was. It was not like Kang-Ho had any way to make these bats his pets anyway.
So, Kang-Ho didn’t think about making them pet anymore, seeing that the King Bat was almost done Kang-Ho decided to kill the bat king first to see if it was the key to opening the gate. Just as Kang-Ho was about to attack the bat king he suddenly stopped himself, ass it seemed the bat from his behind was getting ready to launch an attack of its own. Kang-Ho felt that the bat was ready to attack at any moment as he felt the bat’s killing intent pointing towards him, but after a while of waiting Kang-Ho realized that the bat was still a little hesitant as Kang-Ho could sense its Killing intent fluctuating.
In an attempt to fool the bat, Kang-Ho prepared himself to launch an attack towards the bat king, ass soon as the bat saw Kang-Ho was focused on the bat king the bat made its move. Kang-Ho could feel the bat’s burning resolve as the bat’s killing intent was stronger than ever.
Kang-Ho smirked a bit as he felt the bat flying closer to him, without even turning back Kang-Ho moved his short sword towards the bat. Seeing Kang-Ho’s sword turning around the bat was surprised to say the least, ass it tried to flap its wings to slow itself down with all of its might but alas everything was just little too late, the bat wasn’t even able to see the sword move as the only thing it saw was a glow flash by and following the glow the bat’s vision started tumbling, the bat tried to move its wings but it couldn’t even feel the existence of its wing anymore. Finally, the bat could see a body of a bat that didn’t have half of its body ass the body dropped to the ground so did the bat soon the bat felt as if all the energy had been drained as it died, he only saw the scene of Kang-Ho killing other surviving bats.
One by one bats kept attacking Kang-Ho leaving him no room to take a breath, while fighting so many bats at once Kang-HO had wounds all over his body and he was extremely bloody, but not all of the blood belonged to him ass most of the blood on him belonged to the bats that dared to attack him. Kang-Ho had managed to finish all of the bats that tried to attack him. Finally, only a few bats and bat king were left. Kang-Ho was relieved that he didn’t need to face so many bats at once along with the bat king, if he were to face them all alone even Kang-Ho wouldn’t have been able to guarantee his own safety.
Leaving aside the fact that the bats by themselves were too terrifying, there was an existence who far surpassed the bat just waiting there to attack Kang-Ho, so he felt relieved that he had managed to get rid of most of the bats.
There was a saying that Kang-Ho remembered which went ‘even a flap of butterfly’s win can cause tornadoes’ so Kang-Ho didn’t want to take any chances with his life. Even though these creatures were small and very fragile their attack power and speed were very terrifying to say the least.
“KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII” screeched the Bat king as it saw that most of the bats were all killed by Kang-Ho already while it was busy killing cowards of its tribe. This made the king extremely furious as it looked at Kang-Ho, the eyes of the bat seemed like it was turning red. Knag-Ho saw the eyed of the bat and it seemed as if I place of the bat’s eyed blood had had filled the space, that was what Kang-Ho thought when he saw the color change in the bat’s eyes. The eyes of the bat really did look like blood.
Kang-Ho seemed to have noticed something through his peripheral vision as he turned his head towards the location where he thought he saw something. Kang-Ho saw a bat slightly trembling as the bat looked towards the bat king. Kang-Ho looked towards the other bats as well, soon Kang-Ho realized that all of the bats that were still alive were staring at the bat king as they slightly trembled. Their eyed had a sense of respect in them as they saw the bat king, Kang-Ho started to feel weird as he saw the scene unfold. Kang-Ho in a hurry drank his potions and took a battle stance as he saw the scene unfold.. Kang-Ho felt the bat was using some kind of skill right now so he couldn’t afford to be sloppy.
