The Hunter That Returned From Hell - Chapter 85
Kang-Ho was well aware of the people that were hiding for the right time to strike, Kang-ho acted like no one was there in the first place. Kang-Ho could even hear them talking, although they were talking under the breath Kang-Ho could still hear them. After living in a place where there is danger on every corner of the road, Kang-Ho managed to sharpen his senses. He had very strong senses, so he was able to pick up what they were speaking even from so much distance. To be exact there were 4 men hiding there, fortunately for them Kang-Ho couldn’t use his skill to see through their status because they were surrounded by trees and bushes. Kang-ho was just able to see their eyes and some of their body parts that weren’t covered by the trees and bushes.
“Hey look I think there is a Pocket dimension there. I am sure of it; I just saw some kind of light coming from there. I have experience of entering one pocket dimension myself so I know what it looks like. I am 100% sure that there is a Pocket Dimension there somewhere.” Said one of the men hiding behind the bushes.
“But, boss what should we with that guy over there that is fighting the goblins. Do we take him with us? Do we help Him?” asked one of the men.
“What? You crazy? Why would we help someone who would get in our way later on? We don’t even know the guy, let’s just wait till the goblins kill him and then we will sweep in and kill the goblins and enter the dimension.” Said the man who first spoke.
“But what if the goblins couldn’t kill him?” asked one of the men.
“Then we will swoop in and take care of the job.” Said the man who talked first while licking his blade.
“I think that’s the best idea, the man looks alone and has not met his friend so it is the best time to kill him. We should do this fast though there is no saying when some other people would show up out of nowhere. I support Hyun Bai’s idea” Said one of the men hiding in the bush, referring the man with the idea to kill Kang-ho as Hyun Bai.
One by one everyone on their team decided on the same thing. They all wanted Kang-Ho dead. After they decided what on how to deal with the situation, they all kept quiet and started to wait until one goes down.
‘So, you have decided your fates, huh?’ Kang-Ho asked himself. After they were done deciding, Kang-Ho decided not to keep them waiting for long so he went straight for the goblin mage.
As soon as Kang-ho decided what to do Kang-Ho pounced at the Goblin mage. Kang-Ho pushed all the goblin soldiers first and made his way towards the mage. The mage was fully healed now and casting his magic freely.
As soon as the mage saw Kang-Ho moving his way, he started to panic while casting his spell, but that didn’t mean his spells were disrupted. He still managed to cast a spell he was preparing for long time. As the spell was casted, the mage looked towards Kang-Ho all the nervousness he had was gone and he gave a ugly smirk towards Kang-Ho. It was almost as if he was saying now survive this.
Seeing the overconfident goblin Kang-Ho just smiled towards him and with quick thinking Kang-Ho moved his body from the way of the spell. The spell was way more powerful than the last one. This time the goblin had created a hailstorm of sharp ice shards, they were moving around Kang-ho. Their moving speed was very fast Kang-Ho knew that with a slightest bit of his mistake might cause him to suffer harm from those ice shards.
Kang-Ho with his quick judgement and fast reflexes started to dodge the ice shards, even though Kang-Ho managed to dodge most of the shards there were some which still managed to cut him a little bit, and there were some of the shards that were impossible to dodge in time so Kang-Ho used his dagger and took down those shards that he couldn’t dodge in time.
Seeing Kang-Ho was able to easily dodge the ice shards the goblin mage was dumbfounded. He started to step back slowly as if he knew that he would be the next target of Kang-Ho’s daggers and he wouldn’t be able to do anything. After taking one or two steps back the mage finally realized if he didn’t fight to kill Kang-Ho he wouldn’t be able to live, so he got back to his senses quickly.
“KRUUUUU” shouted the mage signalling the soldiers to hold Kang-Ho back and to buy him some time to cast a spell.
After the shout the soldiers moved towards Kang-Ho hoping to stall him if not stop him. one of the soldiers was close to Kang-Ho so he reached near Kang-Ho in an instant and attacked him using this sword while protecting his body from Kang-Ho’s attack with his shield.
Kang-Ho was not stopping for anything now as he had other enemies to take care of so Kang-Ho decided to be as fast as possible with whatever he was doing.
As the sword of the soldier came down on Knag-Ho, he dodged the attack with a slight movement of the body, seeing Kang-Ho dodge the attack the goblin had his eyes almost pop out of its sockets, Kang-Ho didn’t just stop there though, he kicked the soldier on his right leg, as soon as Kang-Ho’s kick landed on the leg, the goblin lost its balance as he placed all his weight on right leg. After losing the balance, the goblin started to fall down straight. Kang-Ho launched his attack in the neck of the goblin, as the goblin was falling down, he couldn’t block the attack from Kang-Ho, and the dagger pierced straight through the goblin’s neck.
“KHHHh…..KYYYYYY” after falling to the ground the goblin started to choke as his own blood started filing up his throat, with one hand he grabbed his neck and other hand was extended towards his friends who were stunned by witnessing such a horrible scene.
Those goblins who were running towards Kang-Ho were now in loss of words as they stood still watching their friend die, no one came forward trying to save the dying goblin. Kang-Ho didn’t want to hear the goblin scream as it was painful to his ears so he bent down and started piercing the neck of the goblin nonstop until he stopped screaming.
While Kang-Ho was silencing the goblin soldier the goblin mage was having worst day of his life seeing the soldier getting killed so mercilessly right in front of his eyes. The goblin was so scared that he started to backtrack slowly. After Kang-Ho started to pierce the neck of the fallen goblin the mage decided to make a run for it and save his own life.
“Boss are we sure we want to mess with the guy?” asked a skinny man hiding with the other men in the bush as cold sweat poured out of him.
