The Hunter That Returned From Hell - Chapter 86
“You have a death wish? Do you want me to fulfil it for you?” said Hyun Bai in an annoyed tone.
“No boss! I am sorry.” Said the skinny guy as Hyun Bai threatened him.
“You think that was scary? Wait till I rip his vocal cord out and play with it.” said Hyun Bai with a creepy look on his eyes and a sinister grin on his face.
Looking at Hyun Bai who was grinning everyone started grinning as well and at the end the scared skinny guy had to grin as well.

While Kang-Ho was busy the mage goblin tried to run for it hoping Kang-Ho wouldn’t notice. But, unfortunately for the mage the opponent he was facing was Kang-Ho, the most important thing that Kang-Ho had learned throughout all his combat experience was always be on toes while you are on combat and always expect the unexpected. So, as soon the mage turned around and tried to make a run for it, Kang-Ho was well aware of the of its movements. Although Kang-ho knew that the mage was trying to run he didn’t stop what he was doing, as he continued to pierce the neck of the goblin with his dagger.
Kang-Ho didn’t bother chasing the mage, he continued what he was doing and he managed to separate the head from the body. The head of the now dead goblin dropped and rolled over towards the feet of other goblins; the other goblins were still standing with mouth agape. They just couldn’t muster enough courage to chase after Kang-Ho after seeing their comrade die so brutally in front of their eyes. One of the reasons behind them standing idly and not chasing Kang-Ho was because their leader the mage was currently running away, it seems to them the mage was like the lord. They didn’t know what to do next.
-LEVEL UP-
After killing the goblin soldier Kang-Ho once more got a level up prompt. Kang-Ho finally started chasing the mage, even though the mage had a quick start Kang-Ho still managed to closed onto him. the reason why the mage was so slow was because their physical ability does not increase by that much compared to the closed range combat types. After Kang-Ho caught up with the mage, it seemed like the mage had all life from his face.

“Boss he is running away, shouldn’t we follow him? what if he runs away fearing his life and bring his friends here with him for assistance?” asked one of the men behind the bushes.
“No, he will find out we are hiding here, lets observe first then we will move when the right opportunity comes.” Said Hyun Bai to the man.
……………………………………………..
Kang-Ho continued on and when he reached beside the mage. Kang-Ho swung the blade in his hand to attack the mage, the dagger came straight from the front, the dagger was targeting the chest of the mage. Right when the dagger was about to hit the goblin on the chest the goblin’s chest shined in a blue colour, the dagger that was about to hit the goblin right on the chest was suddenly stuck mid-air, it was as if there was an invisible wall protecting the goblin from Kang-Ho’s attack.
“KEKEKEKE” laughed the goblin mischievously as it started to run towards the goblin soldiers again. It seemed that the goblin had got back the confidence he had lost or was all of that all a show all along?
Kang-Ho wasn’t surprised after seeing his attack being blocked mid-air, no he knew what had just happened. That blue light covering the goblin was a shield created with mana, that was a basic kind of skill used by mages from physical attacks. Even if the skill was basic it was extremely useful against close combat fighters. This skill will stop any kind of physical attack that is thrown at the user.
“I think he is dead; we should run too. This is not something anyone us can deal with, only people with the high-level guild or mid-level guilds can deal with this kind of things.” Said Hyun Bai with cold sweat pouring through his head. After seeing the mage use the skill Hyun Bai knew that he didn’t stand a chance against that mage.
Right then, Kang-Ho smirked as he saw the mage goblin’s conceited face. Kang-Ho gripped his dagger very tightly as his dagger started to burn extremely black in colour. Kang-Ho was gathering the mana of different elements in the surrounding and compressing it with his own mana present in his body to make a whole different kind of mana. Normally mana that didn’t have a colour was now black in colour and burning throughout his dagger blade.
Kang-Ho was satisfied as he could use this even here, this was something Kang-Ho created himself while he was in the hell. Although Kang-Ho didn’t resort to use this kind of skills in a normal situation, he just used this kind of dangerous skill only when his life was in danger. This wasn’t in anyway life-threatening situation but Kang-Ho still didn’t have any skill needed to deal with the that kind of skill so he had to use the mana.
Kang-Ho moved towards the goblin who was still thinking Kang-Ho couldn’t do anything to him, so he started chanting spell while Kang-Ho moved towards his location.
Like the last attack this time again ice shards started to rain down on Kang-Ho Kang-Ho dodged those ice shards that were avoidable and blocked the ice shards that were unavoidable. The surprising that now was that all the ice shards that came in range of the black mana flame, disappeared after getting in contact with the flame, almost like it never existed.
“Boss what was that I have never seen something like that in my life.” Said the skinny man as he saw Kang-Ho making the ice disappear.
“Must be some kind of skill, I have never seen this kind of one before but I am sure he belongs to some big guild if he had that kind of skill. I don’t think we should run. If we stay around for more time, he can take care of the goblins and we take care of him, he might even have some valuable things on him if he is from a big guild. this is the kind of situation I pray every day for, I always hoped a stray bird from a big group would someday come to me and make me rich. I think my prayer was heard.” Said Hyun Bai as he was observing Kang-Ho with greed filled eyes.
Kang-Ho didn’t care what they were talking about he just moved towards the goblin ignoring the comments that were directed towards him.
Kang-Ho swung his dagger again this time, the goblin was totally unafraid of Kang-Ho’s attack. He didn’t even try to dodge the attack as he was sure nothing would happen to him.
But when the dagger landed right at the chest of the Goblin, the dagger entered through the barrier as if cutting butter with a hot knife. When the goblin turned his eyes towards the dagger, he had the scare of his life.
