The Imperial Gods Daughter - Chapter 14 My Body?!
Ke YongAn felt nervous. She stared out through the barrier(as one could see from inside to the outside, but can’t with the opposite) and saw at least 10 Nine Passage Stage practitioners. however, Ke YongAn those were only half of the numbers, as they wanted to sneak inside. As for the old man in the front, you could tell he was hired, from the way he was dressed.
“Oh? And why should I?” Qin LuPuo questioned. It seemed to strike a nerve in the old man.
“If you aren’t getting your butt out here, then I’ll drag it out!” The old man flew forward, along with the 10 Nine Passage Stage practitioners.
The old man raised a fist that didn’t seem that remarkable and smashed it downwards at the barrier. Huge undulations spread toward the surroundings, and even affected the world inside the barrier!
Seeing that nothing occured to the barrier, the old man coldly snorted and raised his fist yet again. This time, Ke YongAn could distinctly see a crouching purple tiger standing upon the fist!
The fist came in contact with the barrier, making it flicker in and out of existence, but the barrier still held strong.
“Heh, you and your fragile tiger can’t even put a scratch on my array! Ay, perhaps a good use for you is to be an expert massager.” Qin LuPuo taunted, successfully bulging a forehead vein out of the old man.
“I’ll show you who’s fragile!”
Oh man, he’s triggered. Seriously, aren’t old men supposed to be more patient? This toppled over Ke YongAn’s biased view toward grandfathers.
This time, the old man leapt backward. It was a strange case of, “if he goes, we go. If he stops, we stop.” where the Nine Passage Stage practitioners also leapt back.
The old man gave an low shout and a purple light flickered. This time, a screech of a condor resounded. A purple condor shoot out from the purple light and crashed into the barrier. The barrier flickered incessantly, but did not collapse just yet. Once again, Qin LuPuo taunted,
“That’s it? Even my grandmother could do better!”
“Hah!” The gravely voice of the old man sounded out, and he once again produced a purple light.
This time, Qin LuPuo appeared in-front of Ke YongAn. Qin LuPuo was wearing robes of a yellow-orange, with reddish brown linings. cryptic symbols of yellow were sown on the reddish brown linings.
Ke YongAn only saw the side-profile of Qin LuPuo, but could see a smirk placed on his wrinkled face.
He waved a calligraphy brush and began to draw two different characters. To Ke YongAn’s surprise, these characters were made up by simpler symbols!
The first word was “defend” and the second was “disperse”. They hung in the air like the sun and moon, glowing brightly.
Meanwhile, the old man outside had already finished condensing his attack. Ke YongAn paled at the sight of the now purplish blue ginormous winged tiger, which had created a ferocious roar.
The tiger leapt, and Ke YongAn could only keep up with the general shape as it crashed into the barrier. Instantly, the barrier collapsed into fractals before the fractals had began to dissipate into the air.
As for the two characters, they were able to shield the realm from any destruction and had also dispersed part of the attack.
So powerful…are these what they call Spirit Condensing level Experts…?
Qin LuPuo finally stepped out to obstruct the old man.
Meanwhile, 20 streaks of light rushed into the realm. Ke YongAn was confused.
Was Qin LuPuo being overconfident that Qin YangTian could stop them all?
Turns out, there was another array prepared. It seemed to have done something to the speed of the Holy Temple apprentices, as they slowed down drastically.
“Not good! The Soul treasures don’t work anymore!” Shouts began to ring out. (Treasures are ranked as Engraved Treasure, Soul Treasure, Spirit Treasure, Golden Engraved Treasure, Jade Spirit Treasure, Life Treasure and Heaven Treasure. Finally is God Treasure.)
However, they all gritted their teeth and continued, rushing toward the red-roofed house.
Desperate to help, Ke YongAn trained her eyes on the surroundings. Colour attracted to her eyes, and she turned her whole attention onto it. Is that…
Taking the risk, Ke YongAn ran out of the realm and into the chaotic battle. The Qi flying around had attracted the attention of all residents, though most had ran far away, knowing that the experts in battle were too powerful.
Although Ke YongAn was a spirit and physical things couldn’t harm her, the pressure from the attacks could.
Thus, with each attack hammering into her body, Ke YongAn gritted her teeth and continued onwards. She didn’t rest until she sighted her body. Yes, her body. Not Princess Huang XIng’s body. Her body, the one in which she lived and died in on earth.
Quickly, she assimilated into her body, not questioning how on earth it ended up here.
Ke YongAn’s finger twitched, and she quickly opened her eyes. Strength coursed through her limbs, and her aura climbed until it settled onto the 6th rank of Body Strengthening stage. After all, cultivation was strongly linked to the soul.
She rushed in a roundabout way back into the realm, but then stopped. She was only a 6th rank. What could she do against Nine Passage Stage practitioners?
Oh well! If I’m in the way I’ll run away. Ke YongAn consoled herself and rushed towards the red-roofed building where its own battle was taking place.
There, Qin YanTian was fighting against them all by himself. He was slowly being pushed back, but that didn’t dispute the fact that he was fighting against 20 others at the same cultivation realm!
Ke YongAn, stunned, forced herself to look at the object of focus. In the middle of the courtyard was a wrapped up scroll, floating in midair!
A grunt was heard and Ke YongAn’s attention snapped downwards at the kneeling QIn YangTian.
The Nine Passage Stage practitioners paid no heed and all rushed forwards toward the scroll!
Ke YongAn, who was perched on the roof-top, did the only thing she could.
She leapt down, hand out-stretched and…
…The scroll was caught firmly in her grasp. twenty or so hostile gazes burned into Ke YongAn.
