The Invincible Hero - Chapter 70
After one hundred years of training, Lorne, Tower, and Paneneko didn’t only become Master Tradesmen. In addition to mastering the Path of Trade, their cultivation also rose. Tower’s cultivation rose to Master Realm Initial Level, Lorne rose to Master Realm Middle Level, and Paneneko rose to Master Realm Middle Level. It seemed that Paneneko’s talent was extremely high.
Lorne’s cultivation rose quickly due to his perfected body, but Paneneko’s cultivation wasn’t too far behind. When they first came to the sect over one hundred and thirty years ago, Paneneko was already at Master Student Realm Middle Level, and Lorne, before he awoke and changed bodies, was at Master Student Realm Initial Level, whereas Tower was at Senior Student Realm Perfect Level. Lorne was able to catch up to Paneneko with his perfected body and memories, however, Paneneko was able to arrive at the same cultivation realm and level as Lorne. This was an incredible feat.
Master Que was extremely pleased with the results as were the other masters. They decided they would like to implement a similar training regiment for all of the students in the sect. They saw a great opportunity to increase the overall strength of the sect by quickly elevating the strength of the students. Even the five immortal Masters who were involved in the training process of the three students over the last one hundred years benefitted. They felt their own foundations were firmer and even though their cultivation didn’t increase, their overall strength did. From this, it was decided even the masters and elders of the sect would undergo the Three-Five Paths training. Remember, so far, only one path was completed and the results spoke for themselves.
The three men were no longer students, they graduated to the level of Master. They were in the last realm of the Mortal Realm. Once they completed their cultivation of the Master Realm, they would become immortals entering True Core Cultivation.
It was now a very busy time in the sect. Master Que decided it was time to recall all the students of the sect back and enter a sect wide closed door cultivation period. There was no time period put on the sect’s closed-door cultivation. Master Que decided it would come to an end once seventy percent of the students were able to Master the Path of Trade.
It is true, in the past it was insane to attempt mastering the Path of Trade for average cultivators, however, now the path was blazed by Lorne, Tower, and Paneneko. The way to proceed was clear, therefore, it was not only possible but likely the sect could attain Master Que’s goal.
It was decided Lorne, Tower, and Paneneko would each oversee their field of expertise. Lorne would teach formations, Tower would teach forging, and Paneneko would teach making pills. Medicine and Music would be shared among the three as fields of study. Masters Que, Bilvo, Perachia, Macey, Neville, and B’wiri would similarly teach the masters and elders of the sect. Master Que would teach Medicine, Master Bilvo would teach formations, Master Perachia would teach forging, Master Macey would teach pill making, and Master Neville would teach Music. B’wiri, who trained along with the three young men also completed the Path of Trade would help Masters Que, Bilvo, Perachia, Macey, and Neville complete their own Path of Trade.
In addition to teaching, Lorne, Tower, Paneneko, and B’wiri began the path of knowledge under the guidance of BS42. Modern subjects of Math, Science, and Law were being taught as subjects at the Technology Center for members of the nobility. There were plans for general education to spread throughout the world, but there was a lot of cultures to overcome before that was possible.
It wasn’t the basic levels of Math, Science, Law, History, and Geography which were being taught to Lorne and friends. They would learn every subject to the highest degree. Genetics, robotics, Peranian physics, Field Coherent Multiversal Mathematics, all of it. An average person would never be able to Master the Path of Knowledge, but as a person’s cultivation rose so did their intelligence. Their brains underwent fundamental changes bringing them closer and closer to Edenic levels.
Edenic levels referred to the level of intelligence that existed at the peak of humanity in each multiverse. In the area of biology, there was a theory of Evolutionary Hilleys. This theory stated organisms, through an evolutionary process dependent on their particular multiverse, would reach a perfect state of the organism under certain conditions. Given other conditions, those perfected organisms would ‘de-evolve’ to less perfect forms. These Hills and Valleys of evolution were either the result of a natural or supernatural phenomenon.
Organisms, such as humans, blessed with intelligence could alter, speed up, or slow down their own evolution or de-evolution. This required a level the organisms possessed a certain level of science and technology.
The perfected state of being of organisms was referred to as Edenic referring to the last known time intelligent organisms possessed a perfect state of being in the garden of Eden. In many universes, a Garden of Eden existed and the primordial perfected ancestors would sin and through the direct action of God lose their perfected states. It was Bavelian Intentionality that pursued the formally attained perfected state of being.
After fifty years of training, Masters Que, Bilvo, Perachia, Macey, and Neville were able to complete the Path of Trade and began the Path of Knowledge. Tower was about halfway done with the Path of Knowledge, Paneneko was about seventy percent completed, and Lorne was about eighty percent completed. For Lorne, who was an academic when he lived on Earth, and familiar with the advanced science and technology of the Dragon Empire, the theories, laws, mathematics, and other concepts were very easy. Paneneko was just freakishly smart, while Tower was moving forward at a slightly slower than average pace. B’wiri was at about sixty percent completion of the Path of Knowledge.
After another thirty years, a few masters and students completed the Path of Trade and began their studies on the Path of Knowledge. Twenty years later, the majority of the sect completed the Path of Trade and began the Path of Knowledge. The remaining masters and teachers still struggling in the Path of Trade were known to be dense. Both Lorne and Paneneko completed the Path of Knowledge and began the Path of the Soul.
The Path of the Soul was the hardest path since Master River was no longer available for guidance. BS42 did his best to guide everyone down this path, but Lorne was a knowledgeable as he was. It became the less blind leading the blind.
Twelve years after Lorne finished the path of knowledge, Master Que received a message from his master. He was informed that the great ancestor was aware of what the Water Rock sect was attempting and he approved. As a reward for their forward thinking, the Great Ancestor was sending something to help complete the Path of the Soul. A few days later the package arrived.
The instructions commanded Master Que to have the package opened privately by BS42 and no one else. BS42 was asked to come to Master Que’s residence. Leaving BS42 with the package in his private study chambers, Master Que retreated to the garden to await news of what was in the package. Master Que could hardly believe the good news they received. They were given direct help from the Great Ancestor! These three boys were definitely his lucky charm.
After about an hour, BS42 came to the back garden with a bizarre look on his face. It was hard to tell because of BS42’s robotic features, but if he had to guess he would say BS42 was stunned to his core. Did the Great Ancestor send something so shocking? Master Que could barely contain himself.
“Well, what was it?” Master Que asked BS42.
“How unexpected, how extraordinary!” BS42 said to himself.
“What is it, what did he send?” asked Master Que again.
BS42 came out of his stupor and looked at Master Que.
“Master Que, have you ever met the Great Ancestor?” asked BS42.
“Me?! Of course not! If only I could. I have heard of the wonders of the Great Ancestor since I was a child. I’ve yearned to meet him, but I’ve never been worthy enough. Why do you ask?” asked Master Que.
“Nothing, it’s not important.” BS42 sighed deeply before focusing on the matter at hand.
“The Great Ancestor has sent us everything we need to complete the Path of the Soul. I will need some time to review the materials myself. In three years we will begin the Path of the Soul. Tell Lorne and those waiting to just help everyone else progress. Get as many people as possible ready to cultivate the Path of the Soul!” BS42 said as he disappeared.
“I can never tell if that’s technology or a technique.” Master Que said to himself.
Three years later, Master Que, Lorne, Tower, Paneneko, B’wiri, Master Bilvo and Master Neville awaited BS42. These were the individuals who completed the Path of Knowledge. BS42 appeared before everyone and lead them to a special classroom he recently built and guided everyone down the path of the Soul.
One hundred and fifty years from the beginning of this sect-wide closed-door session. Master Que, Master Bilvo, Master Mace, Master Neville, Master Perachia, B’wiri, Tower, Lorne, Paneneko completed the Three-Five Paths. Most of the sect was nearly done with the Path of Knowledge a few of the denser students and Masters were beginning the Path of Knowledge, while Most of the elites of the sect were halfway through the Path of the Soul. Lorne, Tower and Paneneko’s cultivations increased to Master Realm Perfect Level.
Throughout the last one hundred and fifty years, Lorne worked on developing his Laser Vision. It was one of his favorite abilities and he couldn’t stand for it to linger at only having the strength to start fires. It wasn’t until he completed the Path of the Soul Lorne learned how to increase the strength and heat of his Laser Vision.
Lorne was now capable of disintegrating anyone in the mortal realm with his Laser Vision, and could severely injure True Core Cultivators up to the Middle Level. Lorne knew he could increase the power of his Laser Vision. In fact, he understood his Laser Vision could easily become nearly limitlessly powerful as he continued to train.
After another sixty years, eighty percent of the clan completed the Three-Five Paths. Master Que opened the sect once more and held a grand celebration! It was a new era for the Water Rock Sect.
