The Journal Of The Ero Summoner - Chapter 15

It was quite a thrilling time to drive the bike through Route 6, although the road was not maintained properly it at least was proper enough to reach the destination fast enough where we spent the night at the pokemon center. And Surprise Inori came back from her training to take a break, it seems she became quite mellowed down expressing her emotions openly towards her pokemon. Its still a bit stiff towards me but I can see her response is becoming more and more hmmm…. like a girl towards me now.

Jay: “Morning little Inori, sleep well?” ‘May god bless me with success and victory otherwise I might die’

I gently pat her head waking her up since I will be battling the gym leader sabrina today for her badge.

Inori: “hn, Morning”

She clumsily got out of her bed which was a miracle she did not fall, we both got washed and dressed leaving the room while holding hands. Yep, I managed to convince Inori to hold my hand although its been a few years and our progress was super slow. I intend to have our relationship flow like a river, no forced yet natural.

Jay: “What you want to eat for breakfast?”

Inori: “hmmm… Can you make breakfast?”

Jay: “Ofcourse I will never say no to my little inori!”

a faint smile barely form on her lips before returning to her usual stoic face, yet those eyes are scary. a real Glutton, so we went to the kitchen after getting permission from Nurse Joy.

I began making food for everyone including some sweet flavored poffins for our pokemons, I wonder if it was a curse or blessing that Joy and Chansey arrived asking if they could eat with us. It was a bit noisy but an enjoyable breakfast, we bade farewell to Nurse Joy telling her after the Gym battle we intend to head towards Vermillion City.

Jay: “Hello! I am Jay SIlver from Pallet Town and I am here to challenge this gym!”

Sabrina: “oh, so your the little boy who caught the interest of Flint from Pewter Town huh?”

Jay: ” Ah yes, I’m indebted to him for teaching me during my first gym battle”

Sabrina: “I heard he gave you the two pokemons he found in the forest, for this gym battle I want you to use those two and show me. Whether you are worthy of their loyalty”

Jay: ‘As a psychic expert she is quite attached to those type of pokemons huh’ “Very Well I accept!” ‘Yue Open Mission Tab for me’

Referee: “This is an official Gym battle between Jay Silver of Pallet Town versus the Gym Leader of Saffron City Sabrina. Its a 2 on 2 battle, challenger is allowed to switch pokemons. Let the match BEGIN!”

Sabrina: “Come out Kadabra!”

I smiled at umbreon who seemed quite eager at fighting today after witnessing our battle Cerulean Gym, seems I really am fated with Battle Junkie pokemons not that I mind ehehehehe.

Jay: (Telepathy) ‘Enyo use reflect first to block her move, after that use quick attack to get behind kadabra and fire of a Shadow ball at point blank’

Sabrina and Kadabra felt the subtle psychic energy swirling around me and enyo realizing we might be communicating through telepathy.

Sabrina: “Kadabra use psybeam”

Before the beam could touch umbreon it was reflected back towards kadabra causing it to flinch at this surprise attack but it had no time to react at the second attack hitting it from behind causing an explosion, as the smoke began to disperse in different direction we only see Enyo standing proud next to the fainted Kadabra.

Sabrina: “I really underestimated you, I thought misty was joking when she said you could use psychic energies. You should know that psychic is not an ability you can just find anywhere. Kadabra return, rest well my friend”

Jay: ‘Its been bothering me for a while now but this sabrina is really different from the anime and manga version, could it be she is not yet troubled or did I cause another butterfly effect?’ “Well I can use Aura and Psychic energy at the moment, I am still barely touching Ghost element energy”

Sabrina: “You can also use GHOST ENERGY!?”

Jay: “Not yet, I can vaguely sense the energy from within my body and the surroundings”

Sabrina: “Your quite the monster having those three energies will make you unrivaled in battling with your pokemon, sensing their condition with aura, telepathy commands and Ghost energy is more mysterious than the other two as there hasn’t been a confirmed person to have it so you will be the official first one”

Jay: “Ehehehe thanks for the compliment but I intend to only use these abilities when I am in a tough spot, I’m training my natural reaction speed along with my pokemons” I scratch the back of my head feeling quite embarrased, I mean she looks more beautiful than other version of her.

Sabrina: “Come out Alakazam!”

Jay: “Enyo return, I’m proud of you girl you did really well. Come out Lillith!”

Sabrina: “Now that I see both of them I can say they look much better than they did on the video call I had with Flint and I can see they trust you. Alakazam use Psybeam!”

Jay: “Lillith use Shadow ball”

Both attacks against each other was cancelled out

Sabrina: “Alakazam use Psywave!”

Jay: “Lillith use Dig” (Telepathy) ‘Once you appear dont attack immediately, use double team and once the reflect is down use shadow ball’

Yep, the strategy I use is simple. I put myself in the opponent’s shoes and try to analyse what move they would make, although the system can’t scan the rest of the moves I will make my strategy based on the moves I see.

Espeon dodge the attack digging into the ground hiding and waiting for the attack to stop.

Sabrina: “Alakazam use Reflect!”

The ground began to shake before several shadows erupted from the ground standing looking at alakazam, yep its the double team.

Sabrina: ‘His not attacking? His probably waiting for reflect to expire!’ “Alakazam use teleport followed by psywave!”

Jay: (Telepathy) ‘Interesting, Lillith dig under and use the double team but this time use psychic’

Espeon jump back into the hole digging her way to alakazam but this time she erupted right under him, using double team once more before unleashing her full power psychic. The sudden attack damaged caused Alakazam’s health to drop significantly.

Sabrina: “Alakazam hit it with you psychic”

Alakazam grabbing its spoon tightly as a white aura-like glow began forming around its body as it concentrates it’s psychic energy before unleashing its attack, the brute force of its psychic force is quite formidable as it caused Espeon is faint not because of damage alone but also cause of low psychic energy to block the attack.

Jay: “Espeon return, you were great girl. Come out Enyo, I’m counting on you once more my friend”

Umbreon turned looking at Espeon’s pokeball I’m placing in my ball slot “Umbreon!” (Leave it to me, I will kick its ass).

Jay: ‘Eh? although I can’t talk normally with my pokemon but from my Summoner Heartlink I felt something that I would normally say to Team Rocket grunts’ “Alright lets finish this battle”

I grin at Sabrina slightly enjoying my pokemon battle, I hate to admit it but the cause of little Lillith’s defeat is because I haven’t removed the weights from her ankles. But I believe its best to leave it like that for a while longer, this way my pokemon wont become conceited and believe their invincible.

Sabrina: “Alakazam use Teleport followed by Psychic”

Jay: “Lillith use dark pulse in you surroundings!” ‘I hate to gamble but I hope it works.

a Dark gloomy energy shoots out like a expanding ring around umbreon, Alakazam appearing near umbreon managed to dodge at the last second but that action still interrupted its action.

Jay: “Now use quick attack followed by shadow ball!”

Umbreon sprinted towards appearing left and right running towards it with a black ball forming in front its mouth, she was quite mad at Alakazam for hurting her sister even if its a gym battle women can be quite protective over their sisterhood. So poor alakazam exhausted from the last battle could do nothing but eat a shadow ball like its fellow pokemon fainting with a explosion.

Referee: “Alakazam is unable to battle! Jay Silver won the match!”

I recall Enyo back into its ball, Inori was already running, jumping at me. I caught her gently returning the hug hearing her giggle and congratulating me.

Jay: ‘Seems Lillith’s battle made her quite tense’ “Thanks my little inori”

Sabrina: “Congratulations on winnning the Marsh badge, I would very much like to sit and chat with me about those two pokemon a bit longer but it seems like I will have to leave for an appointment. Take care Jay, hope to see you perform well in the Indigo league”

I bow towards sabrina thanking her, I took Inori’s hand and head back towards the Pokemon Center. We had a modest date during the afternoon eating at a restaurant, before heading back to the pokemon center to end the night with a good rest. Angry about not sharing my date with you guys, then stuff it and wait for it. Will share my most epic date at a later time (I’m quite embarrased!)
